@qani1780 qani1780 if mist flowers are tasteless which I highly doubt they are, especially considering the fact that Diluc wanted to use them to make whine, then the taste of the Qingxin wouldn't be neutralized unless the mist flowers to Qingxin ratio was huge. Water is tasteless but it doesn't neutralize the taste of coffee when some ice melts. It only neutralizes it when there's a lot of ice that has melted. So no, they'd definitely have taste

Yeah, same. While I don’t personally use him... he was my first wished character, so I like him. That’s why I unlocked his Hangout first.
@@ladyazura6525 It took me a long while but I managed to get him thanks to Stand by Me event. He was the last 4* character I got, Rosaria aside, and I also managed to get Beidou from the shop. Meanwhile on my second account...I actually managed to get him a bit faster than before (I only got Barbara, Sucrose Xingqiu and Xinyan before him and I enjoy using him a lot).
But the crazy part is that I got him on the Standard Banner and the next wish after that was another Chongyun. Now I have a C1 Chong.

Other fruity facts:
- Once, on Chongyun's birthday(i think), Xingqiu decided to sing to him. Chongyun's yang energy levels went out of control and he got a nosebleed.
- They basically represent yin and yang.
- There are like at least two pieces of official art where Chongyun blushes around Xingqiu.
- Xingqiu gives him false clues regarding spirits for him to exorcise so that, when Chongyun returns disappointed, Xingqiu can make it up to him by treating him.
-They basically went out on a date in the moonchase festival(that's what it felt like, lol). Chongyun expressed disappointment at the fact that Xingqiu had seemed to only want him along in order to read to each other(it's like he wanted for them to do something else). Also, Xingqiu suggested reading a book called "Young and hopelessly smitten"...which seemed to go over Chongyun's dense head.

My personal headcanon is Chongyun is written as neurodivergent coded.
My reasonings:
1) He has a hyperfixation on purely exorcism and thaumaturgy with little interest for much else.
2) He actively tells us he’s “masking” his true emotions all the time to remain calm.
3) He doesn’t pick up on sarcasm very well or a lot of social cues. He even takes a lot of things at face value without anyone thoroughly explaining things to him.

What I really found weird about Chongyun’s hangout event are the couples aren’t looking at each other, I think I’m the only one who is bothered by this.

Fun fact: Chongyun's arrival IS when the ghosts would go "Why did i hear the boss music ?". After all, his aura scares the spirits away, making him the exorcist that never see a ghost (or a spirit) before, yet also the most successful exorcist as well.

If you know his story you'll see that he has so much of a good aura he scares the ghosts hundreds of meters away
@@salhb737tm2 if you read his story you would know that he already did exorcised a lot of ghosts just by walking near by. He never SAW an evil spirit. But he EXORCISED plenty.
Chongyun's job is to excorsise spirits that are bothering the living. Hu Tao helps people who just want to go to "the other side" cross back over and Xiao deals with mutated monsters and demons formed by vengeful feelings of dead gods. Ultimately they deal with different areas of the same alley. I believe Hu Tao means that there are few truly powerful dark spirits. Chongyun mainly excorsises spirits that are simply being annoying. They never harm anyone but they do bother people so he just gets rid of them to maintain a stable environment and stop them from sending people into a panic or stop the situation from escalating, which is why so few spirits are around since he excorsises them before they can grow to a larger or legitimate threat. On the subject of Dusky Ming, Chongyun was actually called to help with her should she ever become a bother again, so that confirms this is his type of thing. Of course he's never seen a spirit himself so all of his chat about people being in danger is him relying off of rumors and maybe also wishful thinking since according to himself, only truly powerfull spirits can resist his yang energy, so it could be that the reason he gets excited and assumes a spirit is dangerous is him being optimistic that he might finally get to do real excorsism and see a spirit for once. Hu tao also covers things up to prevent panic, for example claiming no ghosts exist until Traveler brings up Dusky Ming, so it's possible there are a bit more evil spirits, or that when she says there are few evil spirits she doesn't mean the general number, just the amount present since excorsists hunt them down quickly.
Chongyun is literally too precious for this world. I will protect him at all cost.

@@uri5231 he doesn't die in the story (at least, he hasn't died yet and i hope it stays that way) - i think they're referring to how xiao's elemental burst drains his hp and how that can lead to him dying on you if you're too careless
@@uri5231 nah he doesn’t die. in the lore, it’s just known that he has been suffering from bad karma accumulated around him cuz he’s a Yaksha. so technically, he hasn’t died, just dying.

i actually got to learn and appreciate his character even more after playing it, he's such a cute and oblivious pal just passionate about his job, definitely one of the most underrated characters.
My favourite ending is the one where he hangs out with the kids, that was so wholesome UGH my heart.

i found him first but, i was the one in hide n seek who would contort themselves like Pennywise to fit into a small space.. So... His spot was obvious. the one that got me was because i wasn't turning my camera enough and thus constantly walked past the little boy.
