Yeah she may seem act high and mighty but she's actually pretty kind and helpful, Vengeance is just a cloak for her to repay kindness to people and even those who wronged her, i bet being mistreated by the people of Mondstadt did offend her and "Vengeance will be mine" is just another term for "I'll work harder for the people of Mondstadt so one day i'll finally achieve the goal of being loved and accepted." She basically has no one after she met Jean and Amber, The Lawrence clan disowned her and the people doesn't support her as a knight because of her status as an Aristocrat. Another theory of mine of how she got a Cryo vision is because the Tsaritsa was once a Goddess of Love and maybe she bestowed Eula a Vision for her Love of her people and awareness of the injustice of her clan.

Eula's life is honestly pretty sad. Unloved by her family because she doesn't agree with their ideals and beliefs, ostracized by Mondstadt because she bears the last name of their oppressors when she's genuinely not like them. Glad Amber and the Knights saw her beyond her family and welcomed her.

From what I know, Amber's grandfather (who's from Liyue) mentored Eula when no one else from the KoF wanted to do so. Perhaps he saw her as someone stuck between two worlds like himself.
I kinda feel sorry for Eula. I might be wrong but the dialogue during this mission seemed to show that she is a very kind person but the citizens hate her, so she acts so high and mighty because she doesn't want the others be bad people because they hate her. Like she says at the table "It's pointless for a bad person to act good" She doesn't think of herself as bad, but people won't think of her as good.
Yeah I can only hope she finds happiness and solace in the people who genuinely accept her and know how she really is like Amber or the Traveler

She faced discrimination and bad service due to this issue so she started acting the way she does to get the minimum amount of basic decency. She states vengeance and they back off and start treating her normally cause they are scared. She’s actually super kind but has to act that way. That’s why the people who actually get to know her are really special

She’s probably just giving the people what they want so they’ll back off. If she tries to show the people she’s nice and is good at her job she’ll get accused of being fake or reminded of her status as a social pariah. If she fronts a big ego she doesn’t have to worry about any of that.

I find it annoying because instead of looking at the bigger picture that he could well and truly ruin the Lawrence clan for decades upon decades more, he only looks at the immediate happenings. After the first meeting of shoeburt I was incredibly happy to talk to him again and be in his good graces do that I could tear that smug look off his face

She is basically one of the best written Character without the need to know her backstory to much like with Diluc and other Character

Her storyline really made me come to love her so much. Her personality has many hidden secrets to it such as her meaning of vengeance depending on the context. What makes me really sad is thag the citizens don’t want to get to understand her and only judge her by her family name. I can only hope that she can find solace in the people who genuinely know her and accept her. I feel like this quest also tells us to be more open minded and find out more about the people we meet and interact with. Eula is amazing. She’s so pretty and will most likely be one of my favorites. Kudos to Amber for being the best too haha

honestly i just appreciate the fact that even when amber's been sent on an intel mission she *still* helps Aether out, gives him some encouragment when it's clear he's having trouble dealing with Schubert and is always understanding or familiar of his situation, even willingly relaying him to her old friend for further assistance
this is exactly one of the reasons why i consider amber best girl aside from Eula herself and Noelle

Mihoyo did really well with Eula, at the beginning she looks like she's a classist like the rest of her clan and you're meant to dislike her, but at the end of the quest you learn that she's aware of the messed up things the clan did and went for a different path and she's actually quite nice

Honestly I kind of thought Schubert was pretty alright at first. It was kind of like getting to know Eula better, he acts all high and mighty and his ego is certainly quite large, but he does seem to show genuine appreciation when he meets someone who lives up to his standards.
He's polite when you show the proper etiquette, and he almost breaks character when presented with Sauerkraut, which I found to be a nice humanizing moment. Hell, he even stands up for you when questioned by the Fatui, in his eyes he was defending your dignity, going to great lengths to defend you.
Yes, he's still a bit of a dick for the way he treats Eula and those who don't meet his standards, and he does want to bring back the aristocracy. But, I like how he isn't just a one-dimensional villain. I think he genuinely cares for his friends and family (he did offer Eula a chance at redemption with her family, and would even go as far as to beg them to take her back). Overall, a great character.

eula is honestly so precious I love her... and kudos to the people who wrote this quest, I think it does a great job explaining her character (something that SOME people *cough* twitter *cough* really need)
i’m not one of the people who hated on eula, but you have to admit that some of the poc who said they were uncomfortable with eula bc of her family’s history as slavers ARE valid. the only ppl who were in the wrong were the idiots who made up their own canon to make it seem like eula was a slave-trodding villain 😭
