Exactly. When looking for reactions to watch my mark is: "It's longer than ten minutes." Because then I get commentary and not just some idiot listening to the song, lying to me that they really liked it (they probably didn't even listen) - and then ending the sham.

@@jon-kl9mk "Reactions" can be entirely silent (not that they need to be). It's about how one "reacts" when watching/listening to the song. The main reason I'm drawn to music reaction videos is because I want to experience, vicariously, someone else listening to/experiencing a song, one that I really enjoy, for the first time.
There are also "analysis" videos which I'm not as fond of. If you really like "reaction" videos, the way you describe it, you'd probably be just as interested, or nearly so, in watching a reaction to a song you don't care at all for.

This song is about the hell of touring while living the dream. They are currently in Japan slated to do show with Band Maid.

Nice reaction. Your the first reactor I've seen that pointed out Ale's great backing vocals on the finishing verse. I saw them in Denver last year, and yes they are incredible. ❤❤❤
So so many never mention Ale’s vocal part in this performance.
Seems like Ale is handling more and more of the primary backing vocalist duties on KMF so far.
Pau carried that load for the most part on earlier albums. Pau helping Dany by taking lead on certain songs now Ale helping Pau to keep all their vocals fresh.
Just imagine the utter commotion in TWA should Ale ever sing lead on a song written for her…
How they can pack so much awesome into three minutes defies the laws of nature. There are so many little elements in this song and performance that all come together creating something bigger than the sum of its parts. Glad you like this one!
You're not alone in your love for this song and performance - it's a favorite of many or most TWA fans. Dany is the ultimate rock frontperson now. She's worked so hard on all aspects, including vocal techniques, showmanship, guitar playing, and it's paying off in spades. Not to mention Ale and Pau, who have worked equally hard, and are equally entertaining and proficient with the instruments and vocals. The Warning is a well-oiled machine now and there's no stopping them. To top it off, they have a fantastic production team, and the quality of this live recording couldn't be better.

I think the word you’re looking for to describe Dani’s overwhelming stage characteristic while she’s performing is swagger. Dani’s got real swagger on stage. Total self confidence.

in the 3point5 interview on twitch, Pau commented about this upcoming album, _"Keep Me Fed"_ (due out Jun 28, 2024) being the closest they've gotten to the type of music that she would listen to every day... it is their art and their form of expression (TEDx 2017)...
for me, the hard, full industrial sound and lyrics of HYCAD are quite expressive of the feelings and emotions one gets at times... considering what HYCAD is talking about, think about when you are involved in a project that you are excited and living for... when being close to completing it, how hectic and chaotic things can get during its assembly... the chaos, apprehension, and anxiety you may feel when many things must absolutely come together... feelings so strong and maybe to the point of overwhelming you where you panic, get lost, feel sick, cannot eat, and need a minute, just one freaking minute, by yourself, to breathe... but you cannot due to the timeline and demands of the mantle you are wearing... a mantle of your own choosing but one that seems to be getting heavier and heavier over time... yeah...

I have noticed and heard other people mention that The Warning's lyrics can be about facing some kind of adversity, but the song feels uplifting. I believe the message they convey might be about staying strong in the face of life's troubles that sometimes comes our way. They are brilliant and insightful song writers.

as I have said before else where, Ale could be a model, hands down; not saying tDani and Pau are not; they have their own beauty...Pau is my favorite, she is a Beastly drummer...Dani showed what her voice can actuallyt do with this song...

You're the first reactor that I haven't had to point out those incredible backing parts toward the end. The way that all three sisters can contribute vocally gives them a superpower that most bands can't do in a live setting.
This one is right up there with "Martirio" with how BIG it feels.
All of the TWA was pleasantly surprised to hear Dany hit those high notes, knew you'd love it too! This had been my favorite song off Keep Me Fed but then Automatic Sun came out...

They are great, right?! That is why I have said (and someone else has copied my expression word for word) that… TW has various styles of rock but they are invariably pure rock!!
Because with its structure, its breaks, transitions, rhythm changes, modulations, choruses, pre-choruses, drum attacks, its endings…
The great beauty of their art is in its simplicity but all this always seems to be at the right time and in the right way, bordering on perfection and predominating sophistication.
Each of its pieces can be very different, but always with all the TW flavor.
It’s very clear that these sisters have no limits.
They have that gift that only belongs to the geniuses that appear among us every certain long period of time.
They are the queens of the hook, the riff, the contagious rhythms, the catchy melodies, the sublime vocals, the unbeatable harmonies and the ambiguous but deep and powerful messages.

Damy's voice continues to evolve and get stronger all the time, and she has a fantastic rhythm section backing her up with her two highly talented sisters, who also both sing very well as we know..Its what makes this band unique..Their multi talented abilities, and the harmonies they can achieve being sisters with their unique style and song writing..It just works. I'm glad to see them getting the recognition they're getting after years of hard work.
Love this one too- it's a power anthem. It's like Dany is a thunderbird soaring over mountains- her crescendo can shatter worlds. Her powerful eyes, Pau's heart and the bass slaying boy Ale- it shakes my desk and windows here at the house. Absolutely badass- cannot wait to catch this one song person. Great reaction Andrea! Your music is great, too! (I'm surprising my wife with an order of Harem pants, too! Awesome!)

My favorite song/performance of there new album. They are so good. I was just like you when I watched it ha ha. Excellent reaction. You get them.
There are two strong reasons why Pau is smiling so much in this performance. First, she's playing to the camera. She's literally looking right at the camera. There are a few moments when she goes into "serious" mode, but I'd say like 98% of the performance her smile is mile wide. The second reason is that she knows deep down that this performance just kicked it into high gear for them as a group. This is one of the best live performances I've ever seen of The Warning (and I've seen just about all of them on YT going back 10+ years). Not to mention that this song is just kick-a$$.

Like PRS? Currently they have a "vacation" in Japan, visiting their friends in "Band-Maid". Their guitarist Kanami Tono (who is a fantastic guitarist of her own) is an endorsed PRS exclusive.

Dany commented in an interview that she feels an obligation to present the song with the intended emotion of the writer(s). She always does a great job with her expressions and body language to present each song appropriately.
She is basically approaching the role of singing like an actor playing a part. It is why she has such great state presence. It also paid off in spades when she played the part of La Novia in the Qué Más Quieres video.

Thanks, Andrea, for a great reaction and commentary. Those ladies really are awesome. Ale's crunchy bass is so amazing, I wish we could have gotten more. Dany's vocals are off the chart, her guitar work is a joy to hear and watch, and she is so expressive. And Pau's drumming is ... well ... all Pau. I so enjoy watching her work them.

I've learned a bunch of Dany's parts and they are generally pretty achievable, what makes them difficult is playing them onstage while being energetic and singing your heart out. Dust to dust is a pretty fun one to play all the way through with the backing track and none of it is crazy difficult. It's mostly getting the timing down. Some of the newer songs are pretty dramatically down-tuned though.
Have you ever noticed ale's Magick trick with her pick. She will be strumming, then wallah, it appears into her fingers, and then she'll tuck it away again in her palm.
Andrea, GREAT REACTION. You get it. Those textures in Dany's voice! To be able to drop everything out an keep that level of intensity and dynamic energy. To carry the song when it's just her and her guitar, or her and the bass, incredible. And, the meaning behind this song, it is so much a part of each one of them and anyone who goes out and shares themselves with an audience, or on tour, etc. In my opinion, it hits you because you're a creator. You know the highs and lows, the struggles of being creative, putting yourself out there, and no matter what the reception, you know you'll never stop doing it. Sometimes, it's hell. Sometimes, it's a dream. You can never see yourself stopping, even if it pulls you in opposite directions.

I believe that this is Dany’s Ann Wilson moment and yes I think that would rank her alongside such a great. Dany’s has improved so much in the last couple of years and she is only 24. Just think how good she is going to be in a few more years.

@@SirCamsmorethanalot I was comparing Dany’s voice to Ann Wilson’s, not to Heart in general. You have to admit that Ann is one of the great rock vocalists even if Heart isn’t to your taste. I too much prefer The Warning to Heart.
Have you considered seeing them live yourself? Don't know where you are, but you should really try as they are on tour through the end of fall season I believe in the States and Canada. Great reaction!
