What temperature is the thermostat? 170 or 180?

170 is OEM temperature if i remember correctly. Make sure to get Honda brand and not aftermarket.

Rock auto mostly, but sometimes parts geek, ebay, local parts stores, car dealerships if it's a dealer only part or sometimes I find dealer only parts online.

    How’s your car doing now?

Sold it last year after it was painted yellow. It was still flare shifting in second gear every time, and slow leak of power steering fluid from the rack and pinion. Engine was still in great shape though.

Wrong....Never flush your engine with a garden hose. Open the petcock, remove the drain on the block and turn temp setting inside the car to hot.
Once it all drains out, close everything up, refill with the proper coolant and bleed the system.

Yeah or just use distilled water would be better but normally after I use tap water then i flush that out with coolant and then put in 50% coolant and 50% distilled water.
