HOMEMADE BREAD (Caribbean Recipe) || TERRI-ANN’S KITCHEN

  • Hey guys I just wanted to share this Tutorial on how to make my Local Homemade Bead from the Caribbean with You guys. As always the steps are very easy to follow and you really don’t need any kitchen experience to be able to pull this off.     Ingredients List
    -----------------
    4 cups all purpose flour
    1 Tbs Yeast
    2 Tbs room temperature butter
    2 cups lukewarm water (may not use all)
    1Tbs sugar
    1 tsp salt
    Knead dough for up to 10 minutes
    Allow to rest for 45 minutes before baking for 20-25 minutes on 180-200 degrees C

    I love this recipe. I've used it about 6 times by now and the results are consistently amazing!
    However, after the 1st time letting it proof/rise for 30 mins then 20 mins, I didn't quite like the bread texture the following day...a lil too tough. So thereafter, I let it rise for 1hr then 45 mins. Results are an even softer bread and still very soft the following day! AWESOME!

    Trying your simple, soft and easy instructions I became a pro overnight.

    Saka fete belle tifee. I used to bake with my dad as a child. This video brought back some sweet memories of our Saturday mornings in the kitchen .     Love your channel! Reminds me of all the great west Indian food I watched my mom making. One note, your instructions has 350 degrees Celsius but I think it should be Farenheit. Didn't want anyone to get confused. Keep up the great work.

    So cool.....A Lucian thing bread with totot, always use to break mine before I get home from the bakery. I am going to bake some this weekend but I will add more sugar I love my bread sweet,thanks again.

    I can't wait to try this and it looks so simple to make. Did you use margarine or butter? Can I put the dough in a bread tin to make a big read rather than individual rolls? A friend recommended your channel and I am loving your recipes.

      Please place in an airtight container and it will remain fresh for a day or 2

    Hi. I am excited to try this....all comments are positive! But, you said you used one Tbs of BROWN sugar. Usually brown sugar is PACKED when measured ...... is this also true in your recipe? Thank you!

    Well just wanted to say thank you very much for the easiest bread recipe and very delicious and easy to make, and would like to ask about the oven, because I have an oven that can go up the 250-degree temperature but you didn't say anything about preheating of the oven so can you please write something about it.       Ibrahim al sharji preheat oven to 180•C and bake for 25 minutes :)

    So base on this video. I don't need to let my dough rise twice. 1 after kneading and 2 after putting it in the baking pan??

      Wait What ! You need to let it rise then you roll it out into the bread and let it rise again for 15 minutes before baking as stated in the video :)... thanks for watching :)
