@@Elvisultimatefanchannel thanks Steve for asking about what elvis said in aloha. I guessed it was to encourage, but what he said I'll go to a lip reader. On a favorite song and I can't believe it didn't get a gram, was pardray.. On CZcams there is good video of girls dancing to this song my granddaughter loves it.. My dad's sister had a chance to meet elvis 1 or 2 day's before the hilton opening show. Her husband was something big at hilton at the time. She said she didn't want meet a hillbilly. On the opening night she was front row and couldn't believe her eyes and fell in love. She said I don't know what his got but I've never felt the same about any men. He was so stunning.. Later in the 70s she did get a scarf but never met him....

I think it is True that Television appearances drove Elvis’ early success just as the MTV Music videos in the 80’s-90’s created big stars out of musicians that may have never broken out so huge. You must admit that in both the cases of Elvis and the music video stars it helped tremendously if the artist(s) were physically attractive. Elvis is certainly one of the few male stars that millions of Men have exclaimed just how attractive he was. Women wanted him and Men wanted to be him. He won everybody over in not just musical talent but his striking features as well.

Just did a bit of digging on this. It transpires that the film is in the vaults of Universal Studios. There are also recent interviews with some students who were at the concert. One guy confirma that Elvis' guitar string did break, but that he just kept on playing with the string just swinging around. No mention of him smashing his guitar. That would truly have been out of character for Elvis.

What people didn't Know about Elvis Presley in my personal opinion is nobody never knew the inner Religious a Humble God loving man who felt different a intensely lonely. Who just wanna to help a make people happy. Elvis presley was a very emotional person who just grew more emotional a heartbreaking 💔 mood in everything he went through. I believe in the last 3 years of Elvis Presley life he was slowly loosing his passion for life a from the media he wanted to more a more alone to talk to God more a make it right w God.

Great interview concerning a mystery for us early Elvis fans/devotees. FYI I've seen the Bill R. intro of Elvis on "Stage Show" many times; it's on DVD and legendary. To me, it's interesting to see how the Dorsey brothers, two titans of the Big Band era, react to Elvis' 1st appearance on their show. Except for the Dorseys' comments that Elvis should be brought over to Roseland (a NYC music/dance hall), they seem rather nonchalant abt it all. Also, I notice how the "Stage Show" band seems to back up Elvis ever so slightly, esp at the end of HEARTBREAK HOTEL (done on a later show), for example. Interesting, too, is how Elvis seems to change his looks fm Oct 1955 and during his 6 appearances on "Stage Show." He goes fm having what appears to be a curly perm in Oct 1955 (for ref, see his famous 1955 photo w/ Bill Haley) to a subdued, wavy pompadour on the 1st show to a raised hairline on the 2nd. Ck it out. I contend he was trying to make himself look more "sophisticated," as maybe perceived bk then. Note movie & TV stars of 1956 had that raised hairline look--Robt Mitchum, Rock Hudson, Mario Lanza, Desi Arnaz, and others come to mind. Thankfully, I think Elvis lets his hairline fill in by the last appearance on the show in late March 1956.

Bemused to hear that even RCA weren't too sure of their new kid....enough to not have him sing their new up coming release....amazing to think that the music business was like that back in 56......loved Roger's statement... "he was primed to do his thing"....says it all really...…..Thanks for all of your efforts in bringing these really interesting casts ...stay safe matey:)

Such an interesting listen and some great inside information that we Elvis fans just love to hear. Go Steve and hunt the lost film down..you’ve got plenty of time on your hands 🤣! Watched King Creole a couple of days ago and there are a couple of scenes in it that really did move me. He was a brilliant actor in this film and as we know he needed to have increasingly better roles to build upon his skill set. But...yep good old Tom Parker manipulated and sold Elvis the benefits of the singing movies because of the money and of course to Elvis at this early point in his career...Parker new best who could only think about lining his own pockets. Thanks Steve. ✌️❤️

I think it would've been so much better for Elvis if he'd gotten a different manager! He could've had so many New songs and number one hits! It would've made the songwriters as well as Elvis very rich and they'd Still be getting royalties, because his music is just as popular now if not more than back then! He also would've been a fantastic actor according to the established stars! They said he had great instincts! Such a waste of talent! He would've been a Star in the movies and Also a recording star!

I was just watching more Elvis and I ran across a fight Elvis broke up. Did you know about it. Ty here is a historic marker in the place it happened. The news crew interviewed a guy there that met him and the limo driver. To document it happened. It was like an old tale. But they talked about it. Madison place corner of Hwy 51 and East Washington Ave. Around 1am Madison PA June 24 1977. Elvis was in the 2nd of 2 limos at a red light. Elvis told his driver hold on and hopped out. There were 2 guys beating up a guy in a parking lot. Elvis went and jumped into a karate stance and the guys stopped. They were shocked. They didn't try elvis either. There was an onlooker met him and elvis shook his hand. It's a cool little story. It's a video from (Your Elvis Guide)
The Year Elvis Presley Died | Best Documentary On 1977: Elvis' Final Concert Tours, Death & Funeral
    At about 11:00 / 58:38
If you haven't seen it that's the section it's at about eleven minutes into the video. You've hot such an awesome channel I had to see if you knew about the fight Elvis stopped.

acting from Elvis if I have to name a favourite films I'd say King Creole. But I loved all I've mentioned, later I have my favourites G.I Blues Blue Hawaii
Change Of Habit just to name a few.
Went off a bit there I heard that when they did the movies with less songs or none, saying that was there a one with no songs Charro is it flaming star I forget.

Roy Orbison: “I first saw Elvis in ’55. It was at the big ‘D’ Jamboree in Dallas and the first thing, he came out and spat on the stage. In Fact, he spat out a piece of gum, but that was right away shocking! And he was this punk kid, a real weird looking dude. Just a real raw cat, singing like a bird. I can’t emphasize how shocking he looked and seemed to me that night. He had Floyd Cramer playing piano with Scotty Moore and Bill Black too. Did “Maybellene” then the kids started shouting. There was pandemonium in the audience ‘cause the girls took a shine to him and the guys were getting a little jealous. Plus he told some real bad, crude jokes - ya‘ know, this dumb off-colour humour - which weren’t funny and his diction was real course like a truck driver’s.”

Bill Randle owned the footage - it would be interesting to trace it to the person who released the Alien autopsy who claimed to have this film he has been silent ever since. It could be he has it and EPE put the blockers on it being released I remember them pulling up Elvisly Yours for selling Joe Epositoes Home Movies. The estate seem to be using Joes footage these days. Most fans don't know anything about his lost film only the die hards do. I was listening to Pat Boone talking about working with Elvis - he was on the same bill as Elvis when they filmed 'The Pied Piper of Cleveland' and he says here "there is a bit of footage" czcams.com/video/-kDwqPuQk4Y/video.html
