As someone pointed out, Enlisteds simpler animations work surprisingly well with the time period it’s set in, since that’s pretty much how people operated firearms back in the day.
Elisteds shooting sounds also fell better and more powerful.
I also appreciate that Elisted uses the Real Names for the guns instead of some dumb fake ones.
That said Enlisteds animations can still use some rework.
the enlisted nimations make sense for the time period i just with they used proper loading procedure and didnt waste ammo or like in with the mg42 just not load any ammo at all lol
id also like if they loaded the proper amount of ammo into the bolt action rifles after wasting the round in the chamber when opening the bolt

Nah bro Enlisted has a panzerfaust reload animation, it's just really goofy (another panzerfaust shell immediately appears on the weapon after shooting)

I’m a big fan of Enlisted’s gun sounds, they’re incredibly punchy. Some the submachine guns sound more like Maxim Pom-Poms rattling off.

fun fact about pistols and the way they were held. it wasn't until about the 70s that 2 handed was preferred, it was adopted because body armor becoming more prevalent, and for competition. before that soldiers and officers would be taught to shoot one handed to decrease body size and the belief of being more accurate by just pointing at something.
Its been proven you are more accurate one handed
@@torinjones3221 depends i guess 2 handed is far better for rapid firing but i could see the one handed version being better on a first based, i was commenting mostly on seeing all the pistols being shot 2 handed which was a big thing yet.
they were told to use one handed because they could carry something more important like a radio in thier second hand
@@torinjones3221 Proven where? There's no way anybody who has ever actually used a handgun IRL would ever make a comment like this.

This is very correct. Devs need to work on their animations, but atleast we don't have speedloaders and laser guns (instead we have cap and ball revolver in game files)

Enlisted has good enough animations, they're enough to portray their respective weapon but are definitely rough overall, on the other hand CoD Vanguard's are really well animated and look pretty good, their problem is that they'd be good in a different game, in a WW2 game they just look so out of place, at that point they should've picked a different setting if they wanted those animations.
It’s not just that, Vanguard Fails to do the animations right. Take the panzerfaust at the very end as an example. In Vangaurd you reload it even though your can’t the panzerfaust is a disposable weapon, you fire and then you either toss it or bring it back to have it recycled. BFV dose the weapon better than both games.
@@anidiot2284 I only remember the Panzerfaust and the Volksturmgewehr as the egregious examples of getting everything wrong (not counting the Gunsmith or DLC weapons, if I count them then Vanguard is the epitome of doing WWII weapons wrong, heck, why tf are the F2000 and the Advanced Warfare EM1 in there???), most other animations are just wrong in that they don't look like a WWII Soldier is using them, which is already awful, though within its horridness, they are really well animated, if these weapons were in a MW game they wouldn't be too out of place.
I believe the modern animations in Vanguard were purely for Warzone integration (still irks me tho)
@@ColtonPrice095 then they could have kept them in Warzone if that were the case, wouldn't be the first time the original game and Warzone had different animations (The Kiparis comes to mind).
Ага и у некоторых видов оружия, взять тот же ППШ гильзы далеко не улетают и падают прямо в патронник, если это для вас офигенные анимации, моё почтение, я выхожу курить на балкон.
While vanguards animations don’t take into account that soldiers in WW2 would mostly not act like modern day special forces, I can give them credit for weapon accuracy, like the Luger and 1911 locking open or the Thompson being the military version.
Except you can put the drum on the M1921 Thompson in vanguard
@@Leopard-2A6.. I though the military version could use drum mags, it just wasn’t that practical
@@PinheaDipshit don't think it could
Not sure tho
@@Leopard-2A6.. I checked, you’re right the M1 Thompson and variants couldn’t accept drum mags, only the M1928 Thompson could.
@@PinheaDipshit , the 1921,23,and 28 versions of the weapons could accept drum magazines, however they did have severe problems with jamming due to the clockwork mechanism within the magazine that would feed the rounds. the differences between the models are the 21 had a faster cyclic rate than the 23, where it was reduced to better accuracy and lessen ammo consumption, the 28 is simply the 23 adapted for military service for export to other countries by changing the barrel and front hand-guard. the rather fragile front grip was exchanged for a simple wood block fore-grip and the cooling fins on the barrel were removed. a muzzle-break was added on the 1928A1 models. the M1 and M1A1 had a much more drastic change, simplified to a simpler blow-back mechanism and simplified sights in order to make the weapon more easily producible, making it compatible with the box magazines, but not the drum magazines. 1923 and 1928 models were still used by other countries during WW2 due to surplus military stock and stock bought pre-war, as by the 1940s, it was a weapon that was nearly 20 years old.
i hate that the guns in vanguard are labelled wrong
THEYRE NOT EVEN COPYRIGHTED THEYRE ALL 70+ YEARS OLD

Enlisted anims may look a bit too floaty because they're the same animation with the 3rd person view/world model, or at least they tried to make them as identical as possible
True fact
That's why they look janky compared to Vanguard, because in Enlisted you're looking at the world via a "first person" perspective where the camera is actually in your character's head. Meanwhile in Vanguard, they went with the more common route of having two sets of animations - one which you see in first person, and the other which everyone else sees when looking at you, and generally the second set of animations look much jankier.
Vanguard is one of the worst WW2 shooters that I ever played in my life, it's incredible how a small studio can make a better game than a million dollars studio, it's just incredible to see.

Hello Kevin.
Enlisted is much better than vanguard. Because vanguard have 2.3 star and enlisted have 3.9 star.😊👌🏻👍🏽❤

It's from a event
You missed sawn off mg42 with forward grip and red dot
A red dot in ww2 and a forward grip ahhhh
Enlisted feels like I’m actually reloading, CoD feels like I’m trying to do some weird as hell trick every time I reload
Yeah in WW2 we have tactical reload, fancy mag flip reload
I base which is better solely on how satisfying the ping is when the Garand's clip ejects.

I like enlisted overall to be honest, though the animations could use a bit more work. But cod vanguards animations are better animated. Though i would still prefer enlisted.
Why are the shells for CoD: Vanguard's double-barrel shotgun are so long? Or is it just the high FOV?
Also they look to be red and plastic.

Funny how enlisted having an inferior animation portraits the weapon better and more realistically
You notice how the automatic guns in enlisted correct themselves when fired but the CoD ones just go straight up? That's because the enlisted devs know how guns work.
You should do Easy Red 2 weapon showcase at least after Ardennes DLC
I totally agree with the common sentiment that the Vanguard reloads are too modern in their technique. Technically they're nicely animated, and there's a lot of skill on display there though! Enlisted's animations are serviceable, but I have a few issues. The weapon is framed poorly on screen and there's not much natural reaction to actions being performed or weight of the weapon being shown. Outside of animation related crits, there's a few mistakes the animator's make regarding weapon operation - a lot, if not all, of the time the player character doesn't use the magazine releases which is quite noticeable on weapons like the STG44. This is something Vanguard gets right! Comparatively, Vanguard is a lot better in terms of animation quality but it's a shame they had to use modern techinques.
Oh god the reloadable Panzerfaus hits so hard
God there's so much wrong with vanguard I don't even know where to start. Enlisted has it's own problems as well but it's at least trying to be historically authentic. Vanguard just makes me shake my head everytime I see it.

Does the owen eject spent casings upward irl? I think it ejects them downward. Can any gun guy confirm?
Im pretty sure it obviously ejects downward
All the guns in vanguard fell like they’re all weak with no weight but all the weapons in enlisted actually fell powerful
Just listen to them vanguard sounds like BB guns while enlisted sounds like an actual firearm
Why do they remove the hopper and put another one on like it’s a mag ITS A HOPPER YOU PUT MORE IN.
Vanguard: *gets filled with a whole mp-40 mag* well time to respawn and get back to milsim Airsoft
Enlisted: at the capture point, crying in the corner with a mosin while the enemies artillery strikes true, followed by the distant rumble of the engines of a bombing run approaching. "Good work men, you've captured the control point, move onto the next one" 💀
The tanks, I forgot to mention there'd be at least 1 Panzer 4 between point B and point C XD
Every Enlisted gun sounds like it's firing a bigger cartige than in reality (except M1 Garand, they nailed that one), every CoD weapon sounds supressed.
also, You cannot eject a clip from the trash rod (Mosin) by operating the bolt. It uses rimmed ammo and crimped clips.
Enlisted's Gewehr 43 makes me feel that bolt is going straight for my nose.
Enlisted's guns actually sound like guns!
