That way Ford says “ Adeline!” It’s as if he’s back in the 1960’s and the intensity of the love he felt comes rushing full force into his heart into the present . The power of that love in his heart , you can hear it perfectly in his voice . There’s sort of that ghostly whisper all humans have , I wish I where young and in love with that person again. And that that beautiful harmony and connection could go on forever.

But there was still a purity, life hadn’t made us cynical yet . That youthful trust opened the deep passage ways into our hearts. The bitter sweet of recalling those lost loves can almost be overwhelming . The notes, our song , her perfume, the glances , places we ate , just dreaming about what we’d do and where we’d go . The way Ford spoke to her felt just like I think I would feel and sound if I could go back in time to when my deceased wife and I were young . He really nailed it - was so believable . @@LilyGrace95There was a TV program in the late 1960s with a similar premise. A man about 30 years of age goes to Alaska to look for gold. He somehow gets trapped in an icy area, gets frozen in the ice, and about 70 years later the government finds him, thaws him out, and he comes back to life, still looking the same as when he disappeared.
But now his son, who was one year old when the man disappeared, is now 71, and he naturally looks his normal age while his father (with whom he is reunited) still look 30.
The program was called "The Second Hundred Years" and was more on the comedy side.
There's also a film that came out in, I think, 1987 called "Late for Dinner", in which a man and his brother in law go out to run a routine errand. But they walk into a robbery, one of them gets shot and wounded, and they get taken to a quirky "neighborhood doc" who is also a "mad scientist" type who is doing cryogenic experiments and he takes these two guys and puts them into freezing pods, and someone finally discovers them 25 years later, releases them, and they return home from their routine errand 25 years later looking no older.

It's like she hadn't aged a day in 35 years. I couldn't take my eyes off of her. Turns out it wasn't her. That sounds absurdly obvious but at the time it was such a shock that you kind of start questioning reality or something. I left the nightclub feeling really strange.

Over 20 years later I was married with two kids and we went to Disney World, staying at a Disney hotel. We got on a bus that was otherwise empty, and it stopped at another Disney hotel. Unbelievable to me, the girl from HS with her husband and two kids got on. She hardly aged at all, but she didn't recognize me because I had changed a lot. I said nothing because I honestly didn't know if she would have even remembered me. The odd thing was that she and her family also got on our bus on the return to the hotel. Well, it must be strange seeing someone who looks identical to someone you knew years ago. But at the same time, you would never expect it to be the way that it really is in this movie. If I would go through this, I think that I could only think that she IS her daughter.. but yeah, you'd probably be flabbergasted in that scenario and think your mind is playing tricks on you or something.. like you are just imagening they look that much alike.
Or maybe, when cloning becomes a thing. You would guess she is a clone.
