Trying to plan out our next over nighter right now. Water levels are always the make or break part here in TX. Great info and as always, great videography

Some of those hill country rivers look incredible. We'll make it down there sooner or later but I have anxiety we'll get there and the water will dry up!

Bought an inflatable kayak and been out a few times with my son. I bought an inflatable because it was easier to get to the river but I'm already looking to upgrade to a better one for overnight trips

Don't have any experience with inflatables, but if it got you out onto the water, it's a win!

@@OzarkMediaCo it's certainly done that. It's actually way better than I thought it would be and we get some quality father son time as well. So yeah win win

I'm m torn between a 10ft kayak and a 12ft Kayak. I'm planning on using it for camping on the rivers in Missouri. Is there a significant advantage that a larger kayak has over a shorter one? Or does it really matter?

Great question. Longer boats generally track better(go straight and stay straight) but take more upper body strength to turn and are therefore less agile. We'll do vids on all that sooner or later.

I would plan on the 12ft. Likely that's gonna have a better weight capacity for gear. I do a bunch of overnight floats in Missouri. Just did one for the eclipse 🤙

Yeah, typically the longer kayaks will have more weight capacity. I've bought 4 kayaks over the years because I kept needing more weight. So, I would figure out how much gear you want to bring and make sure your kayak can hold over that weight.
