The flint has been on my list for a while now. Been trying to decide between this and the crescent shoalie or the bonafide RVR.

Several times we say "7 years" in this video. We bought our Pursuit in 2017 and the Flint the year after. The Flint was released in 2018 and we've had it for 6 years, not 7. Let us know what you think or if you have any questions about the boat!

We have a cabin near Jasper and I'm still kayaking all the time at age 68.

Was doing that float each summer with my brother fifty years ago. Seems like yesterday.

Ive floated Jacks Fork several times. Also have floated from tan vat to van burran a few times. Great trips.

Awesome trip man. We just did 17 bridge to alley over the weekend and it changed in that time already. The sideways tree was turned a little but still not passable. We camped just below rymers and i had a cottonmouth mouth sleep next to my tent 😅

Man many spots look really shallow. Were all of your kayaks flat bottom? Did anyone sport a Kayak with a keel? My kayak (Crescent Light Tackle) has a strong keel that gets hung up on rocks in shallow water and was curious if anyone in your group had such a yak, and what their experience was. I might need a different kayak with a flat bottom to run this stretch of river, which I most certainly will be doing in the future.

I've done this same float with 10 of my friends. One of my most cherished memories! Jack's Fork is amazing

For folding saws i like my Silky saws but for folding bow saws you can't beat Agawa boreal 24. Its made in Canada and i recommend getting a extra blade and the sheath. They sell canvas and leather sheaths.

Interesting, have you been told that you are going through difficult rapids in a fishing kayak, and even with a small child and a dog? In many videos, much smaller rapids on the river are passed with great excitement in the soul, and you feel so easy as if it were something ordinary...)

Does NPS allow packing the heat like Elea is doing at the end of the vid?

Awesome trip man! What time of year was this? We tried to float/camp the upper Buffalo a couple of years ago in late May and it was scorching hot. At night it wasn't any better. We ended up crushing the paddle on day two and getting all the way to the take out so we didn't have to spend another night sweating on top of our sleeping bags.
