What a fantastic property in a setting that appeals to me so much! The owners have done such a great job and are to be commended. For me the roof terrace holds special appeal as I treasure outdoor areas that function as extensions of the home. Hard to beat that stunning blue-sky view over historic Galatina. Speaking of that, I really enjoyed the drone footage. 😍. Thanks Davide!

Only people from certain countries will complain about washroom next to the kitchen. They are afraid of anything and everything. The rest of the world is used to these things and quirks. Just get a new built and eat McDonald’s in Italy. Only €89K!!!!

Taxes seem too high to make any real estate purchase a profitable endeavor. Italy is obviously dying. If the government starts making some worthwhile offers to foreigners things might turn around. I'm seeing a lot of graffiti and vacancies. That's decline not rise. That being said I will eventually buy in Puglia but I have no delusions about being able to use it as a temporary property. I would just use it when I needed it and accept that it is vacant other times and that it will likely not rise in value at any significant rate. I'll gift it to my daughter when I'm gone so not a big deal.

@@salentowithlove3314 If it was not for your content I wouldn't be able to form much of an opinion at all. You show the charm and the potential of many homes and it is enticing. There are many sides to everything though. I like to go in with my eyes open. Personally I prefer a more peaceful private homestead to a bustling lifestyle. The beauty of the region is undeniable and the proximity to Greece appeals to me as well. But I always say "You never know until you go". I'll come visit if travel ever becomes possible again. Here in Thailand we can't leave the house without a mask on so not looking good.
