High ankle sprain, if the swelling does not subside got the hospital. If you can't put weight through it may be a tear. Would definitely head to the Doctor just in case whenever you get time. Stay strong & blessed. Gonna take more than that to take the big man down. 💪✌️
Ouch! I did the same thing to myself years ago. Instead of stepping out carefully, I hopped out of a Ford Transit and landed on uneven ground. Immediately rolled the ankle with all my weight falling on it from hopping out of the van. I now step out of all vehicles VERY carefully!
That sucks! It shows that you don't need to be moving fast to get injured. When I was moving house, it was raining, and the doormat slipped out from under my feet, and I landed right on my tailbone (If I wasn't carrying boxes I probably could have lessened the impact). That POS ached for a couple of months.

I did the in 2020 right before covid and mine looked exactly like that. I hate to say it, but it looks broken at the fibula. I would have it checked out.

That's a nasty one. The older I get the more work I spend keeping hips, knees, and ankles strong.
