Maybe you should pray, and ask the Father to bless you with wisdom regarding the Word of God, and depend on the Comforter/the Holy Spirit of God, who is responsible for “not only teaching us His word, but also bring things back to our remembrance. My point is be very careful not to give man too much credit, instead of the One who deserves all of the glory alone. Blessings my friend.

I believe in the blood through Christ alone. Its the only thing that speaks for me. It took faith but I know I'm saved simply by believing. I struggle with alcohol which leads to other sins but I believe. Lord willing let me teach this gospel that Paul preached. Gods grace is truly amazing I wish that churches understood that its grace that you are saved. I've been baptized but I know that doesn't save you or me. I can understand why God would choose to save me. I say can because he said it is finished and I'm purchased me with his blood

I was thoroughly immersed in the other "2 gospel" teaching, and this one. Since I have been studying with Les, putting in about 500 hours so far....the Bible has never been as meaningful for me! I had struggled in the past with the reason for baptism (was told at my church that it was an outward expression of an inward decision)....and it really makes so much sense now. I always thought Jesus and Paul had to have had the same message, after all, why would Paul change it, but that is bc I never really understood what it was to "rightly divide the word of truth".
The Bible was written FOR us, but not all of it is TO us.
Thank you Les for helping me to see for the first time!

I'm afraid that is not the true Gospel. The true Gospel begins with REPENTING and turning from sin and obeying Jesus Christ for salvation. The Bible says that anyone who practices unrighteousness will not inherit the Kingdom. But by following Jesus Christ we can be set free from all unrighteousness and turned into new, holy people.

Lee Bee, yes Christ said that to the Jews in Israel. Christ had a ministry only to the children of Israel. but when the Jews rejected Jesus and Crucified him. God turned away from the Jews to Gentiles. A gentile is anyone who isn't a Jew. through Saul with latter is know as Paul. God turns to The gentiles without The Jews and we now have the place of privilege that the Jews had. Now there is no difference between Jews and Gentiles, the Gospel is the only thing that saves a person from their sins. You have A choice the believe this or not. Don't be the person who will not simply trust the Gospel. Not one person is going to hell because of their sins, Christ Died for them, people will go to hell simply for their unbelief. it's that simply. Faith is not a feeling. Faith is trusting. I hope you understand God Bless you.

And I stayed confused and pushed Lesfeldick away for 10 years no one could tell me. I seen all. But wow. Paul said if our gospel is hid . It’s from thoes that wish not to see. WoW. I have Ben happy and secure with Jesus. And his richiousness . I get to parade three heaven with what Christ has done. And I can be liked by God as danial. If we enjoy Christ richiousness. Threw the gospel. That’s only in Paul. Death burial and resurrection. Romans 10. Most will not look. Religious people hardest to show. I get to go to heaven and tell angels how much Christ has done. How Christ is everything. And all my religious friends want to hear they did a good job. Well. You only get well done when you figure out . It’s all Jesus and there is nothing you can do. Check out Galatians 2:7, and please note and remember that a FEW YEARS BEFORE this, God had revealed the door open to the Gentiles through Peter at Joppa; it is all there in Acts 10 with the visions and so-forth. He then goes to Cornelius, etc., and so it was through Peter that the door was first opened to the Gentles***, but what Paul is alluding to in Galatians 2:7 is that, subsequent to that, there was a mutual agreement amongst their spheres of of focus! Where it says "gospel of," in the Greek it can mean "gospel FOR"--i.e., 'the gospel FOR the Gentiles', 'the gospel FOR the Jews': The Gospel is NO DIFFERENT between the two! but the gospel addressed to the Gentiles was merely Paul's assigned sphere of activity, and of course Peter, even though he was the one through which it was opened, was relegated to the circumcision or to the Jews.
It's interesting that the apostles established no churches outside Judea; even of those that were scattered abroad, there is NO RECORD of them preaching to the Gentiles, but that doesn't mean that there are two gospels; this is a tragedy that is being taught in the churches today, and it is based on a lot of erroneous misunderstanding, etc.
Interestingly, in verse 9 of Galatians 2, it clearly tells us here that there was a MUTUAL AGREEMENT between all of them, for this is how they carved up the known world at the time, spreading the gospel. It is basically saying, "Hey, we all AGREE that it's the same gospel, so you go your way, we'll go ours, and we'll each do our work!" That was basically what was going on here, not this 'two gospel' weirdness.
Peter had been preaching the same gospel that was Paul was to the Galatians, for just read "Peter's Gospel" in Acts Chapter 2:38-39. In verse 37, they asked Peter, "...what shall we do?" Peter gives them the answer is verses 38 and 39:
"38 Then Peter said unto them, REPENT, and BE BAPTIZED everyone of you IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST for the remission of sins, AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE THE GIFT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT."
"39 For the promise is to you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call."
You see? Peter's gospel is NO DIFFERENT than Paul's! Look at Acts Chapter 3 as another example:
Verse 19: "Repent therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord:
Verse 20: "And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached to you:
Verse 21: "Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of ALL HIS HOLY PROPHETS since the world began."
This goes on and on, the same in Acts chapter 4:10-12, Peter addresses the Sanhedrin there--the same Gospel! Verse 12 is especially important... and this comes from Peter.
There is NO DISTINCTION from him and Paul. In fact, if you take the time to read Peter's first letter in the very first chapter, which was written to Jewish converts, again you will discover that it's the same gospel that Paul is preaching! The ONLY DIFFERENCE is that Paul gets into "justification"; Peter doesn't focus on that, but Pauls adds that insight when he says that "we are accepted in the beloved" in Ephesians, and so on.
It's One Body, One Spirit, One Hope. Period.
      Much love!

There's a lot of hate when it comes to telling so called believers that there's two gospels and that you don't need to be baptized to be saved these days. It amazes me that a lot of believers also think that it's okay if some believers think that they need to be baptized (works) to be saved as well. We're in the very last moments until we're raptured out of here. Look forward to seeing my Lord and Savior Jesus soon. 🙌

    • @faithplusnothing
      @faithplusnothing Před 3 lety +2

Alot of people that I talk to say, they don't believe you have to be water baptized to be saved, but they practice it as an expression of faith. I tell them nowhere in Bible does it say to perform water baptism as an expression of faith, that's man's idea, in fact water baptism in the Bible is required, you just have to rightly divide it, ask who was water baptism meant for? Read Romans 3:30, its says the Jews were justified "by faith", that means, "Doing thing" things like water baptism. The Jews we're expected to do what God instructed them. Continuing in the verse, the Body of Christ believers are justified, "through faith, that means resting in His grace.
Our faith has little to do it, but it Christ's faith, through His faith.
      Hope that helps.

Period.
      Much love!

Hi Derrick. Continue investigating and studying. You will see the difference. See Gal 2:6 - "But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter;" Here it is talking about the message of the Gospel, which in this verse clearly shows it is NOT the same. There was a message to the gentiles and another to the Jewish people. For 30 years I held to your position and after much prayer, studying and coming before the Lord asking Him to show me His truth, did He answer and allow me to "see" this. Once you understand and see this, EVERYTHING in scripture becomes crystal clear. Churches, denominations, calvinism vs arminianism, pre/mid/post trib rapture differences have created such division in the christian body, all due to confusion and NOT rightly dividing the truth. This teaching, rightly dividing, is the only ONE message that accounts for all of those differences and shows why there need not be ANY differences. I encourage you to not just reject this message, but approach it cautiously, asking the Holy Spirit to direct you and guide you into what is true and what is not. As for me, when I did that, and it has taken 2.5 years, it is as if scales fell from my eyes. That is the only way I can explain it. I am now even more than ever burning inside to read and study and spend more time in the Word of God. I pray that the Lord will bless you and guide you into all truth.

He accurately presented that two gospels were discussed in the scripture, but the gospel of Paul (the true gospel) is that of grace! Had it not been for the destruction of the Jewish temple, I am convinced that we (Christians) would be under the yoke of the gospel presented by the Pharisees which includes the keeping of the law of Moses (which is no gospel at all). All the pastors saying we're not sure who wrote Hebrews, Romans or most of Acts always bothered me.
I thought how can we not know?
We know who wrote all of the other books.
No one else could have written Romans & Hebrews because the desciples didn't even fully understand or teach grace and Hebrews 13: 23 indirectly state so.
Acts 15 they debated with Paul about even going to Gentiles and Peter wrote near his death in 2Peter 3: 15 Paul's scriptures were still hard for him and the other jews to understand !
Obviously any preacher or teacher that doesn't see this doesn't even remotely understand the GOSPEL of the KINGDOM verses Paul's revelation of the GRACE GOSPEL to him by Jesus and hasn't taken the time to study the scriptures closely and rightly divide the Word !
Luke may have put it to parchment but Acts chapters 8 - 28 are Paul's scriptures.
Romans and Hebrews are also definitely Paul's scriptures.
    Hebrews 13: 23 prove this.

+Everyday Christian Paul tells the Athenians to repent but not once does he mention one drop of doctrine. I'm sure he did to those who followed him wanting to hear more, but 'repent' was not part of his gospel; believe is the anchor term hitherto 1 Cor 15:1-4 is Pauls salvation requirement. Jesus required of the young wealthy man to sell all and follow Him. Romans 4 and 5 explain the law is to death, belief is to salvation. Adam and Eve only had 1 law, it was to death. Today we are under the law of Christ.

OK - Then, how can one possibly crucify the old man [Romans 6:6] and put away the lusts of the flesh without repenting? 1 John 2:6 "Whoever claims to abide in Him must walk as Jesus walked." Seems very clear to me anyway. Heb 10:26 "If we deliberately go on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no further sacrifice for sins remains," That is a very serious warning. Repenting (stopping) sin is very critical to Salvation. Unless one wishes to ignore or rationalize away those 3 scriptures and believe they can continue living their old lives and just claim the name. Oh and we desperately need Jesus and the Holy Spirit to do that in case the conversation goes into the "saving yourself" direction.

@John Baart, hopefully you got your answer somewhere.
In His earthy ministry as a Jew, Jesus upheld and fulfilled the Law, which is why he was baptized.
One of the main considerations in Les's teaching is that we must rightly divide the scriptures. At the time Jesus was baptized, there was one scripture, what we now call the old testament. The next Gospel, given to Paul, hadn't happened yet, as that gospel includes death, burial and resurrection.
If you continue to watch Les teach, you'll learn, and read the truth in the bible yourself, that the Law was given to show mankind our sinfulness, Romans 5:13 (Is driving a car 90 mph an offense without a law stating that the speed limit is 55 mph?). Further, we all became sinners simply by inheriting it all the way back from Adam, Romans 5:12. Jesus didn't inherit sin because of the virgin birth.
So now, you could look at the Bible in four distinct sections:
Old Testament 1) The time before the calling out the assembly of Jewish Nation
Old Testament 2) The Jewish Nation and the Law given to it.
Four Gospels 3) The fulfillment of the Messiah and the Law
New Testament 4) Grace superseding the Law
It helps me to think of the law and grace like this: Without being saved, I must be shown what are the things I should not do, or the unlawful things. This is the law. With Salvation, the Holy Spirit indwells us believers and shows us how to be or writes righteous behavior on our hearts. The flip side. With this, the spelled-out-law is no longer needed and thus we are no longer condemned by it. Grace, unmerited favor.

Accursed if only they've never believed. Jesus was accursed for us. Osas. Scripture to interpret scripture. Some began in sprit and try to end in the flesh. That means they we're saved just like in numbers with the brass serpent lifted up they looked upon for life they we're saved. Their eyes were singular. Now if you try to look at jesus plus works your looking at a weak Jesus that can't save you. If you look to him alone you can be saved. God gives us a heart of one. As stated in old testament. But we have to choose it to drink of the fountain. Some taste the lord's goodness but don't believe on. They were never of us. So he opens the eyes of our hearts to show us the Gospel. And once we're saved he thru power of holy spirit helps us to have a heart of one. Faith alone. Then God allows us to be tested by Satan to strengthen us. Take us to that high place. To even loose faith. Who can say they've never doubted their salvation? But he takes us to that high place. So that we also don't place our faith in our faith. He saves us to the uttermost! So that we can be rooted and grounded in the Rock a firm foundation. Not shaken. Entered into that rest. Resting not running. trusting not trying. Not by might or power that we're saved.

Please answer me this: Why was Jesus baptized? (Matthew 3:13-17) Why did Jesus command His disciples to baptize new believers? (Matthew 28:18-19) Why was Paul baptized after his confrontation with Jesus on the road to Damascus? (Acts 9:1-18) Why did Paul himself baptize some of his converts? (1 Corinthians 1:10-17)
With regards to the Ethiopian Eunuch who was baptized. He only believed that Jesus was the Son of God AFTER Philip gave him a bible study in which has would have told him about the life of Christ and the gospel that He preached for 3 years. He would have told him about the death of Christ on the cross as well as his resurrection and ascension to heaven on the Mount of Olives. How do I know this? I know this because of Acts 8:35.
    Acts 8:35
Then Philip opened his mouth, and BEGINNING AT THIS SCRIPTURE, preached Jesus to him. (Emphasis added by me)
Philip did what Jesus did with the disciples that He met on the road to Emmaus. (Luke 24:13-27) Here are the key verses:
    Luke 24:25-27
Then He said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! 26
Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?” 27 And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in ALL THE SCRIPTURES the things concerning Himself. (Emphasis added by me)
Jesus would have told them everything that the scriptures had to say about Him from Moses right up until the time of His resurrection. Philip would have told the eunuch everything about what the scriptures had to say about Jesus starting with the book of Isaiah all the way through to the resurrection of Jesus his commissioning of the disciples to preach the gospel and baptize new believers in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. He would have told the eunuch about Jesus' ascension to heaven on the Mount of Olives and that Jesus would one day return to set up an earthly Kingdom. Thus when the eunuch said that He believes that Jesus is the Son of God; he was saying that he believes in EVERYTHING that Philip taught him from the scriptures concerning Jesus.
With regards to the Judaisers who were telling the Gentiles to be circumcised and observe the law of Moses. They believed in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This issue with them was that they still believed that they were the chosen race and thus one would have to become a Jew in order to become a true son of Abraham and thus a true son of God. This had NOTHING to do with baptism. This was about them believing more in the law of Moses than they did in the finished work of Christ on the cross. This is what Paul addressed in Romans 5 to 6 and 9 to 11 as well as in Galatians 1-4. Paul crystalized this point in Ephesians 2:8-9.
    Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9
not of works, lest anyone should boast.
Lastly, let me say that the Bible does command us to be baptized. Not for the purpose of salvation, but as a public declaration of our salvation. (Mark 16:15-16)
    Mark 16:15
And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16
He who BELIEVES and is baptized will be saved; but he who DOES NOT believe will be condemned.
The key word in these verses is "believe". One must FIRST believe the gospel BEFORE one can be baptized. Thus, one CANNOT be saved by being baptized.
Mary believed in the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ even before Jesus had been crucified. She didn't just believe in Jesus simply because Jesus declared that He was the Son of God. (John 11:20-27)
Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met Him, but Mary was sitting in the house. 21 Now Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died. 22 But even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give You.”
23 Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.”
24 Martha said to Him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”
25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. 26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
27 She said to Him, “Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.”
The key verse is verse 25 where Jesus said that He is the resurrection and the life. This is the Jesus that Martha and others had put their trust in. They believed in the gospel that Jesus preached in which He said that He would be put to death, that He would be buried and that He would rise again on the third day. (Matthew 20:17-19)
    Matthew 20:17-20
Jesus a Third Time Predicts His Death and Resurrection
    (Mark 10:32-34; Luke 18:31-34)
Now Jesus, going up to Jerusalem, took the twelve disciples aside on the road and said to them, 18
“Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes; and they will condemn Him to death, 19 and deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock and to scourge and to crucify. And the third day He will rise again.”
This is the gospel that Peter and John preached to the Jews and this is the SAME gospel that the apostle Paul preached to the gentiles. If you read Galatians 2 in context you will clearly see that the controversy was not over baptism, but rather the controversy was over the keeping of the law. The gospel that Peter and Paul preached was the SAME one. We are saved by grace through faith in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
It is VITALLY important for us to read the bible in context and not reading a verse here and a verse there and then making a doctrine out of it like the Jehovah's Witnesses who say that the Bible teaches that Jesus is not God but rather is the created Son of God. Or the Church of Christ that says that you have to be baptized in order to be saved. Or the Catholic Church that teaches that you are saved by grace but justified by works.
I hope this clarifies this issue for those of you who may have become troubled by this erroneous teaching.

Yes, the Bible says water baptism is required, but that's why we're instructed to rightly divide the scriptures, water baptism was for the Jew, even Paul preached water baptism to them, as he went to Jew first, proclaiming the Jesus he persecuted was their Messiah. Paul also preached the sign gifts to them, performing healings, speaking in tongues, ect... but later in his writings he doesnt mention the sign gifts anymore, he either lost those gifts or they ceased.

+Steve Evans I don't know if they have met in person they definitely do know each other. I've heard Ron mentioning it in a few videos. one of them was "A rightly dividing response to Calvinism" by norcalgrace. com

I think the other disciples believed he was the Christ. It was just I believe help my unbelief. Jesus said every whit of you is clean.
