    This message of grace abounding, of grace reigning was revealed from heaven by the Lord Jesus Christ to the apostle Paul. He says in Ephesians 3:2,3: “If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward, HOW THAT BY REVELATION HE MADE KNOWN UNTO ME THE MYSTERY.” Thank you Les for being a faithful servant in Teaching the Grace Message for these many years.

    this was so helpful to me; I had never questioned paul's teachings for 20+ years, but then started seeing articles around that were trying to cast doubt on his authority to speak for God, etc, and checked some of them out, but found that there were outright lies as well as distortions. Now, listening to this, I realize that he is in fact totally legitimate as an apostle, but also, I understand why people are challenging his authority--I think the main reason is in order to elevate Peter's authority/leadership more, since the catholics think he was the first church's "head guy" (even though there wasn't one), and they require that in order to justify a succession of "popes" starting with Peter, even though scripture does not support that idea at all. Also, with the recent "jewish roots" movement, I can see why they would oppose paul, since he opposed peter, who became a judaiser.

    • @stevencook4002
      @stevencook4002 Před rokem

      Also, my of Paul’s teachings are contrary to Jesus’ who primarily spoke to Israel under the Old Covenant. People insist on following the teachings (LAW) of Jesus so they minimize Paul’s teachings (Grace) and some even hate him.

      @jeansroses7249 Před rokem +1

      @@stevencook4002 I wouldn't say that the teachings of Paul and Jesus contradict each other, but you are correct that Jesus was preaching to law-abiding Jews in the context of the old covenant, as you say. But He does mention us ("I have other sheep...."), so He intended that we receive the good news as well as Jews that had ears to hear.

      The Jewish or Hebrew Roots Movement has apparently been around for quite awhile, but it seems to be gaining ground. I think it is a very dangerous deception, even heresy. There's some here on CZcams (JesusWordsOnly for one, but there's others) who claim that Paul was a heretic and the apostle of Satan, and want to remove most of the New Testament from canon. They promote following the Torah and the mosaic laws, and the feast days of ancient Israel. There's very little good news in their gospel. These are the times of the falling away, and apostasy, when the love of many will grow cold.
      Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus!

    Had it not been for Mr. Feldick's teachings, I would not know anything about the Bible. The only thing I have heard in the churches that I have attended over the years was the Old Testament and the Four Gospels. Rarely did the pastors preach from Pauls letters. But because of this Ministry
    I can hardly wait for God to give me opportunities to share His Word to those that cross my path. The downside to that is for the most part are blank faces that I am ministering to. I just share God's Word and if there an increase to be made that's in God's hands. The Apostle Paul tells us whether We water, or plant God makes the increase. Acts 16:14. Dear God thank You for Mr. Feldick and " Through The Bible". May he Rest in Peace.

No wonder church attendance is down. Our ministers still want to preach the old testament laws as if they are for the gentiles today instead of mainly to the Nation of Israel. What would it take to get them to realize how important Pauls Epistles are to us today?

    • @2tires652
      @2tires652 Před 9 lety +3

      ***** After Christ resurrection, after His teaching Israel for 3 years, what did the believers believe? Luke 24:21 says they thought Jesus would redeem who? Not the nations. In the first part of Acts Peter taught that Jesus was their Messiah not the savior of the world like Paul. Until Paul started preaching to the gentiles in mass which started after the fall of Israel, which was the reason for the change in dispensation, Jesus and the 12 never took that message to the gentiles. That would not make sense. That program was when Israel believed Jesus was the Christ the Kingdom would come, the redemption of Israel. They would then be a kingdom of priests, Ex. 19:5, to take the message of salvation via Jewish program to the nations. So Luke 24:21 Through Israel's fall salvation has come to the gentiles by 1 Cor. 15:1-4 not because Jesus was resurrected to be Israel's redeemer but to save all sinners without the Jewish plan of salvation.
      t we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.

      Christ told the apostles to go to all the nations (Matthew 29:19-20)

    • @2tires652
      @2tires652 Před 9 lety +3

      ***** Yes he told the apostles to go to the nations. He also said that only the Father knew when the kingdom would start. The 12 understood that they needed to get Israel to believe in the name of Jesus as the one who was the King and Messiah before they would start taking the message of how God would save them. The Jews being priests or go betweens to God for them. Again Israel had to be redeemed first then spread the message of salvation to the nations. So if you carefully read Acts you'll see it is all a message to Israel about repenting so they will be redeemed and that when the persecution came and they scattered they, the believing Jew, went to other Jews who either didn't accept Jesus as Messiah or perhaps ignorant only. Jew only. Acts 11:19 Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only. Jew only. We they fell from God's favor it was given to Paul to be the apostles to the nations.

      How about Israel, when God sent them prophets...say Moses, and told them to obey his voice. The same thing here - God sent us the apostle Paul. No one is putting him above our savior Lord Jesus

      @@xXFUEGIxX So if He sent Paul why the need for Jesus? Did Jesus say "you don't have to listen to me, just listen to Paul." Or do you mean God said to Jesus: "I'm tired, you handle it now." So Jesus went out and got Paul, meaning the rest of the disciples weren't good enough. They got no "press" after the crucifixion.

      @@redsky8763 You got it all twisted. You know God made promises to Israel, not the Gentiles (you and me). The promise is to bring a Heaven on Earth Kingdom (Exodus 19: 5-6), and to use Israel to evangelize the Gentiles world (Isaiah 42: 1,6). So Jesus came preaching gosepl of the Kingdom promised to the Jews. That's why He chose TWELVE disciples (12 tribes in Israel). Jesus even called the Caananite Woman a dog (He will call you the same thing; Jesus would've embarrassed you if that was you) because He came to fulfill the LAW AND PROPHETS. Now, just ask who the prophets have been writing to? The answer is Israel. We have nothing in Israel's promises (Ephesians 2: 11-13). Isn't it funny that Jesus ascended and left the 12 apostles to Israel ONLY! Peter wouldn't even talk to you - he will call you a dog and uncircumcised. The 12 apostles wouldn't even look your way because you're a gentile. Don't forget that Jesus had to persuade Peter to go see Cornelius (Peter even told Cornelius it is unlawful to keep company with Gentiles - Acts 10). Keep in mind, this is in the ABSENCE of Jesus - the 12 to Israel (12 trible). And Paul, the 13th apostle to Gentiles. By not following Paul, you're disobeying God's Word - let that sink in. He gave you an Apostle to hear from, and you disobeying. Jesus always will be the filler of faith and the rock of ages. No one is exalting Paul above our Lord. BUT only Paul has God's message to us Gentiles, not Peter, James, & John (they won't even look a Gentiles way). Read Galatians 2: 1-9, the two gospels mentioned there; one to Peter, the other to Paul. Jesus ministry was to Israel, not to Gentile - otherwise He wouldnt have sent us Paul. Jesus had to fulfill what was written of Him (and it's all about Israel).

It is done is by grace believe in me for all your sins are forgiven by faith by me period you dont have 2 gospels but completed by the resurrection. Funny how paul was also an apostle to the children of Israel according to scripture - or did you forget to read this verse in your haste to obey darby & his dispensationalism.
    Acts 9:15 But the Lord said to Ananias, “Go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the GENTILES and their kings, and to the PEOPLE OF ISRAEL.
    Kinda makes sense that the SAME GOSPEL will be preached in all the world, because Jesus said as much in Mat 24:14 And THIS GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM shall be preached IN ALL THE WORLD for a witness unto ALL NATIONS; and then shall the end come.
    Galatians 2 confirms that pauls gospel given to him by Jesus Christ, is EXACTLY THE SAME GOSPEL AS GIVEN TO PETER.

      Nope! One Gospel to two different people:)
      One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism - not Two faiths, nor Two baptisms.....therefore ONE GOSPEL
      "REPENT OF YOUR SINS, BECOME BORN AGAIN IN THE HOLY SPIRIT AND SIN NO MORE!"
      This same gospel being preached since time began.
      The difference was in approach of how Jesus was the Passover lamb meant nothing to the Gentiles, but to the jews it meant their feast days were looking forward to Jesus being the Passover, just as Jesus was the Firstfruits of those who had risen from the dead, and He was the unleavened bread which came from heaven.
      It would have been pointless teaching this to the gentiles, as these things had no meaning as a proof of who Jesus was. Whereas the proof of miralculous cures of the Gentiles certified their power given to them by Jesus So same gospel but different proof.

      No Mosese, you need to read Acts 9:15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, AND KINGS, AND THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL.
      The children of Israel are the Jews, which is why we also read this in Acts 9:20 And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.
      Do you find gentiles in the synagogues? No, of course not child - you only ever find jews inside synagogues as we read in verse 22 But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very Christ.
      So obviously paul was preaching the exact same GOSPEL to the jews in Damascus. You have been deceived by your dispensationalistic teachers who spread LIES and preach a different gospel apart form the EVERLASTING GOSPEL.
      Paul even rebuked peter for not living according to THE GOSPEL in Gal 2: 14 But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of THE GOSPEL, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?
      Here paul is rebuking peter for not living according to THE GOSPEL because peter was being a hypocrite by still falling back on his old jewish ways, despite peter knowing that those old jewish customs (clean/unclean) were no longer in effect. Peter was in fact backsliding, and paul publicly exposed such hypocrisy.
      But don't believe me friend, believe scriptures which clearly state in Rev 14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having THE EVERLASTING GOSPEL to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
      What exactly about THE EVERLASTING GOSPEL being preached to EVERY NATION, KINDRED, and TONGUE - makes you think that there are two gospels? Your thinking contradicts scripure, which is why your gospel is corrupt.
      Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for YE ARE ALL ONE in Christ Jesus.

      You need to understand that Paul initially preached to the Jews in the synagoge declaring that Jesus was indeed the Son of God. Likewise to the Jews leaders and Kings (Acts 26, 28) he declared the samething. But to the gentiles He preached the gospel of the grace of God. Note: two gospels stated in Gal 2:6-7 and Acts 20:24-25....it could not be any clearer!

    • @delawarecop
      @delawarecop Před 7 lety

      NO friend, this is your own gospel, because you will not find any such thing in scripture. In fact paul said that he was given THE GOSPEL by direct revelation from Jesus Himself.
      Galatians 1:11 But I certify you, brethren, that THE GOSPEL which was preached of me is not after man. 12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
      Now how could we possibly know that its the same GOSPEL that peter received? Gal 2:14 But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of THE GOSPEL, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?
      You see friend, the circumcision covenant was dead, because there was no longer a separation between Jew & Gentile, we are all one in Christ, and we all learn the same GOSPEL. Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
      Peter struggled with this from the time that Jesus gave him a vision about unclean foods which he was told to eat, and then later we see that peter did accept eating unclean foods with the gentile believers in Christ, but practised hypocrisy whenever his circumcision covenant friends were present. This is paul confirming that there is only ONE GOSPEL, which is why paul was able to rebuke peter publicly in Antioch.
      That's why paul goes to great lengths over verses 1-10 to show that the gospel to the circumcision and the uncircumcised was THE SAME GOSPEL "and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain."
      Otherwise paul would have been a hypocrite to publicly rebuke peter for eating unclean foods. Pauls writings are only difficult to understand according to 2Peter 3:15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; 16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

    According to the Bible Jesus said to Peter: "Upon this rock (Peter) I will build My church". He said it to Peter not to Paul. But the New Testament is all about Paul building the church while Peter is disappeared .... meaning purposely omitted. Then Paul keeps claiming he's been appointed an apostle who's receiving instructions from above. Sure smells like deception. Where did Peter go?

      You should check out Dr. Michael Heiser's video on that question. I'm sorry I can't remember which one of many it is in, but I think it's in his Reversing Hermon video. Jesus said that with Peter in a place (Mt Hermon I think) which was basically a rock, and at a place on the mountain known as the Gates of Hell, and considered in pagan lore as the portal to the underworld. This is what was meant, that Jesus was establishing His Church on the rock of Mount Hermon, and the Gates of Hell (which they were standing in front of at the time) would not prevail against it. (The Church).
      According to Heiser's teachings, which is that the spiritual realm and the powers and principalities (Which Paul spoke about) are VERY REAL and this was actually a direct challenge to these powers of satan that directly resulted in Jesus being crucified because of satanic intervention. Which is what Jesus wanted to happen, (which is why He made the challenge on the devil's doorstep) Because Jesus was facing the reality that the people were about to proclaim Him as Messiah and King, which would have spoiled His plan for the cross.
      You can believe that or not, but it's obvious from the gospels that Jesus knew that they were going to kill Him, but He needed to make sure it happened on His timeline. I'm not going to say everything Heiser says is true, but he is very much worth watching.

      @@faithplusnothingactually, I think it's the place that they were standing that was the rock. And they were directly in front of a place known as the Gates of Hell. See my other post here for the details. I know it seems strange, because Jesus is our rock, and Peter's knick name was Rock, but they were standing on the rock of Mount Hermon in front of the Gate to the underworld, a major pagan demonic beings bad place. So, yeah, see my other post.

    Now according to Les there was 1 person assigned for the "Gentiles" (that being Paul) and 13 assigned to the Jews (adding in Jesus). How is it that so very few Jews have ever believed in Jesus and so very very many Gentiles HAVE believed in Jesus? From supposedly 1 person (Paul) multitudes of Gentiles became believers. Yet 13 apostles couldn't put a tiny dent into the number of Jews who became believers over many centuries.
    Were the disciples such utter failures or was Paul far better than the 13 combined? Don't forget that over the years who has gotten Christians to kill other Christians in numerous wars? Yes those same ones that were supposedly assigned to the 13.
    Last I checked 13 is suppose to be better than 1 so it doesn't make sense that Paul was far superior and if he was then maybe he should've been assigned to God's "chosen people." The word "gentile" means nation, not non-jews. What Les Feldick and others aren't telling you is that they believe Jesus wasn't much good at choosing his disciples.
    So stay confused people, that's where they really want us.
