- Allegiant Air is a low-cost carrier known for its notoriously cheap fares and business practices. They have a history of sketchy emergencies and incidents due to their lack of maintenance in the past. But those days seem to have passed.
I had a surprisingly good experience onboard, which is something you rarely hear about from a low-cost carrier, especially Allegiant.

Flew on Contour earlier this month. Flights were on time both ways. Good legroom. Overall good value.

You stated that Spirit is Allegiant's main competitor. I beg to differ. Frontier is Spirit's closest competitor. They both go into primary markets and first tier airports. They both fly the full range of the A320 family. They both serve destinations in the Caribbean and Latin America. Allegiant on the other hand serves secondary and tertiary markets with service to Sunbelt locations and a few other primary cities. They fly only A319's and A320's and serve only U.S. destinations. All three are ultra low cost carriers where you pay a base fee and then add on from there.
Nice video! I’ve read that Allegiant is getting a good deal on used A320, making moves in the middle of the pandemic.

It’s amazing that Allegiant puts 156 seats on their 319s meanwhile Delta puts 160 on their 320s and 130 on 319
Their ex EasyJet planes who used to pack people in. So many seats, they had to put an extra emergency door over the wings LOL. 319’s have one door over the wing. EasyJet, and now Allegiant have 2. It’s also why the seats are narrow as hell, to keep the aisle wider to aid in an evacuation.

Seat-wise,I can see the similarity and Allegiant's are not 'pre-reclined' as Spirit likes to proclaim--I'm not paying $3 for a soda,may well be cheaper to buy one in the terminal and munchies as well,carry onboard--do any US carriers have inflight magazines? I miss those,love looking at the airport diagrams. Seeing the a/c's parked at Oakland,one wonders how AS and Hawaiian decided that Oakland was as good a place as any for their fleet--wonder how much the airport authority charges the two companies for that 'convenience'--as for your QFS ratings,I would've indicated 'NA' for the inflight entertainment and a much lower score for the bathroom. Some time ago,you were mentioning putting together a series of vids about airline employees behaving negatively towards your filming--is that on the back burner?

I recommend the guy at 12:17 to fly on southwest. I'm not gonna lie, I'm also fat as hell and the reason I recommend southwest is cause they are fat friendly. They give you and extra seat at no extra cost and priority boarding.
