I have to say thankyou for pioneering the herb path for us younger generation.
Im 26 and just started herbal school under home grown herbalist.
I grew up with some herbs and learning what wild plants i could eat, but i probably wouldnt be in school for it if people like you hadnt forged a path for it to have a place. So thankyou.

I’ve been fortunate enough to have had this beautiful person be my family doctor for 2 decades till she retired, as well as to call her one of my favorite humans. This interview had stories about Dr. Mary’s path that I hadn’t heard before ❤ Thank you

Dear Rosalee, thank you so much for having Dr. Bove on your podcast. I have a small nursery and sell my plants at the Farmers Market. the Lemon Balm is so beautiful it calls people; and when they smell it, that's a sale!🤣 They are always asking what to do with it. So I was thinking... I have to research this herb so that I can be more knowledgeable and encourage my clients to use it in more ways than just tea, cake and Lemon chicken! Wow! I learned much more than I could have ever imagined. Thank you again.🍅

Dear Rosalee, I thank you again for such a wonderful video. I love lemon balm. It was my first herb that I started to learn about. I bought it because of how I felt when I smelled it. I hope that my son will listen to me now about this wonderful herb. I believe that it will help to calm my precious granddaughters. Please take care!!

Rosalee, how wonderful to hear you interview Mary Bove. She is my favorite Gaia webinar presenter. I loved hearing her inspiring personal story. She can be deeply informative in a brief talk, and here I learned so much in your hour with her. Thank you.

Oh, Lemon Balm is my Everest. So far, I had zero success growing it, so I cannot work with it. I am not giving up, but compared to knowledge about herbs my growing skills are just upsent. I live in high desert and low humidity, even in hydroponic garden it seems to be suffering greatly. Thank you for such a charming guest.

So excited to see lemon balm for this episode! Lemon Balm was the first ever herb I grew, last year actually! I'm in the beginning of my herbal journey. I would visit it everyday for the relaxing smell and then I'd have my husband and son come out and give it a try. I'm going to expand my patch this year and I can't wait!

Thank you! What an interesting life helping others. I’d like to mention red raspberry leaf for pregnant women. And wondering about the “common knowledge” that it is good to consume through out pregnancy. Recently Phyllis Light said on a Matthew Wood podcast that red raspberry leaf is best used only during the last two weeks (because if used through out the pregnancy the labor could last for days!). I was wondering what Mary would say about this particular herb? Apparently, Aviva Romm agrees with Phyllis Light about the limited use of red raspberry tea. The long labor was experienced by someone I know who did drink red raspberry through out her pregnancy. Thank you!

Thank you for sharing, Lemon balm is a favorite of mine. I have estrogen and progesterone positive breast cancer, and I take an aromatase inhibitor to block estrogen in my body. I am looking for a resouce for herbs that are safe and use as teas that won't effect my estrogen level. I used to enjoy growing and using my herbs but am scared to now.
