Martha knew full and well what the questions were going to be centered around. She is 81 and looks vastly different than she did 2-3 years ago. I am sure, there was a full disclosure, prior to actually sitting down to be interviewed. Stop making it seem as if the paparazzi was torturing her for an answer.

It can be due to chemical or laser peeels - not refered to as "surgery", but definitely can give a large chsnge
Martha is a very regimented, organized person who is a stickler for her elaborate skincare routine. I've seen a couple of videos and read an interview with her about her daily routine involving numerous skincare treatments (masks, oils, retinoids, alpha hydroxy, etc). It's really very involved and she does it every single morning and night. I've noticed huge improvements in every area of my skin when I religiously follow a good skincare routine. I look younger than my age and have a bounciness and radiance to my face when I stick to my routine over the months and years. When I stop, usually because of laziness or because I'm busy, I see the difference. Martha is exceptional in many ways, and I have no doubt that one main reason she looks so good is because she takes excellent care of herself.

I think Martha Stewart's surgery could be the best I have seen. There is nothing unnatural looking. She doesn't look as though she's attempting to appear twenty something. The Jenners already look like aliens to me. Their faces are so over sculpted and it’s no hate to them like Kylie’s story really saddens me. I don’t watch or support any of their stuff but I remember being horrified when I heard Kylie was living with Tyga at age 16. My mother would kill me before that could happen. Way too young trying to fit in with adults who simply should not have been around her.

Some can. Stress management, living a healthy and “clean” lifestyle, reducing sun exposure, not smoking, not drinking, eating mostly vegetables, fruits and drinking lots of water tea and some fish. Exception to the rule but it is possible with great genetics and a healthy lifestyle

She definitely has done multiple surgeries and non-invasive procedures over the years. But she has definitely taken care of her skin. Healthy skin is not created with surgery or fillers, she’s done well. Also, there’s photoshop and filter on her recent photos so that will definitely help her look. Overall, there’s nothing wrong with plastic surgery to look like your younger self! Her work has been done well.
I’d like to know her skin routine; her skin is beautiful even tho’ the photographer likely used a filter or other techniques. Is it from her skin care or has she had dermal procedures done? She looks wonderful…more power to her! I would have done it if I could.

I think Dr. Gary missed her first lower face/neck lift around 2005/2006. She clearly has less jowling in the 2006 photo compared to 2004, and her skin is even tighter in 2007, showing the final result. It would make sense that about 18 years later, she would need an additional lift to address the aging that happened over that time.
You mean second facelift. There was clearly one around 1991. She had jowling at 49, then it was gone in her 50s.
She looks great but there's no way a perfectionist like Martha hasn't had a little work done.

I had upper blepharoplasty and brow lift due to my vision being restricted. My lids were over my irises, and it was as if I were wearing a veil all the time. I had to widen my eyes at frequent intervals to push the skin back. At first, I felt like a Simpson character, but now I'm used to my new lids, and I can see! I'm so happy!

Why not use celebrity status to show how youthful people can look at any age if they have the means to have these procedures rather than lie about it and be made to look ridiculously untrustworthy?

No way Doc. You DEFINITELY missed at least one facelift. She looked at least 15 years older in that 1990 photo than she did just a couple years later. And I could swear I saw that telltale wrinkling in front of the ear that comes with some facelifts. I learned about that from watching this channel!

I don't know how old any of you are, but I grew up watching Martha Stewart in the late 90s and early 2000s on her various TV shows. She NEVER looked as old as she looked in that 1990 photo. She didn't even have that face or ear shape anymore. I can almost guarantee she had work done right before she got her first TV show and has maintained it since then.
I'm 58, woman, fit, non-smoker, non drinker. I just had a facelift to remove my sagging jawline and turkey neck. I'm now in my 2nd month of recovery. The first week after surgery was the toughest, and then slowly, very slowly, the discomfort subsided, and I started to appreciate the results. They say it takes 6 months to see the full results, but I am already loving my new defined jawline and smooth neck. It was the best $10.000 I've ever spent. My self-confidence returned to normal levels, and I'm back being my extroverted self. I'm on cloud nine.
My advice: Do it before you look too old. This way, you don't look like a different person, just refreshed, like you had a vacation and a good night sleep.
PS: I took my sisters and my best friend with me on this journey. I figured, being upfront about it was going to be easier than lying. They were extremely supportive. However, relatives and friends I only see once in a blue moon didn't need to know.

I have a friend who used to work as a photo editor for a popular fashion magazine publication in LA. I would visit her and watch what she would do. One word: Airbrush.

I think what bugs me is that aging is now really a class distinction: it’s only a “privilege” that the wealthy can afford. Although there’s a weird affect : people with pumped up lips and those small cat eyes are now the obvious elderly : they have become the definition of old age.

Saw her just over a year ago & she was starting to look her age. I know that SI isn’t beyond photoshopping & whenever you’re 80, with her kind of dough, you’re not above having procedures.

It's kind of deceiving when the doctor doesn't mention the likelihood of filters being used. There's no way her neck would look that smooth at 80 even if she had work done, without facetuning or whatever filters they're using.
She looks great! Whatever work she has had done doesn’t come across as looking cartoonish. It looks natural and she obviously feels good about it. It’s no one’s business to ask her what she has or hasn’t had done
My mom has never had any surgery or any procedure. Her skin is amazing.and she is 75. ❤
There are so many everyday women that look amazing in their 70's and 80's, they were just very constant with their skin care inside and out.
I'm also 75 and have no drooping or loose skin. But for 50 years I've massaged and cleansed my face and neck twice a day and use hyaluronic acid gels and moisturizers. I've also had a good diet and regular exercise. My eyelids don't droop, I don't have undereye bags, marionette lines, jowels or batwing arms. I do have that thing under my chin that gives me a fat undefined neck, but my neck has always been fat. I've always been thin, and have never had a lot of extra weight. You can do it without surgery if you take care of yourself. I've never had surgery of any kind. Some people say these things don't work, but they do. I can't believe I just have great bone structure.

My cousin did work in her home in Connecticut and as him and his partner were working on the flooring, he looked up to her and smiled. She said "don't look at me" LOL. ouch! I am poor. I did the work over 11 years. slowly. Then I opted for no anesthesia work and looked for who did it and had a good reputation and was experienced. I worked out in a gym and it costs the same no matter how many days I went. I try to eat well, you have to be frugal and eat the same things much of the time.. Buy berries on sale, and freeze them. Buy what you need cook and freeze it. Always on sale. Always goes to use,

Martha looks healthy and happy. Why not just say I've had small procedures to rejuvenate my eyes and lips. People aren't stupid, so why lie? You look great.
As a photographer, I know that how you look in the picture can depend upon the lens photographer uses the lighting and the camera angle. One picture from one year can be a misrepresentation of what she really looked at that year. To be really confident of the changes I would want to see a studio picture taken with the same lighting your after year. If she had that taken herself she wouldn’t release it of course. But I wouldn’t want to Look at several at least five maybe 10 pictures from the same year to be sure of what changes had really happened.

There’s a well known CZcamsr named Melissa55 who is in her late 60s, looks amazingly younger and swears she’s never had any fillers, Botox or a face lift. Nothing except Retin-A and a prescription brightening cream. Would you please do an analysis? Many of her followers would love to know the truth and if she has been honest it will help put an end to the attacks on her.

Melissa is a beautiful southern lady. She shows herself bare skin before doing her makeup. Her 30 years of retin-a use & caring for herself relects in how she looks. Her positive energy, loving family & zest for life also add to her beauty. I am one who believes she is all natural in appearance.
I don't know about this lady, but some people just have good genes. You just have to think that, on average, that's not going to be the case. Also, anyone with good skin probably uses a lot of sun screen or doesn't spend time in the sun, it's not just retinoids.

Martha Stewart is a natural beauty. She started her career as a model . I honestly believe she’s taken very good care of herself over the years with diet, luxury skincare, top notch facials and probably a hit of Botox. She looks beautiful at any age!
I think she has greatly relied on fillers for the last decade, especially in her cheek area. If you notice the side by side comparison from 1989 until now, she is recreating her facial fullness from her youth. But she has done it modestly and well. She still looks like Martha only better!
And expert editing and photo shop they all use.

Curious how her before picture toward the end of the video shows her with blue eyes, and the after picture shows her with brown eyes? Colored contact lenses? Also, I think there's a strong possibility her Sport Illustrated pictures were highly photoshopped. Not saying she hasn't had any procedures done because I think she has, but they are subtle and age appropriate. She's always been lovely.
Look at some of the close up photos....she has brown eyes. Some showing with blue eyes looks like colored contacts. Time 1:52 they're brown, as with various close ups!
She has worked hard, she is self made through pure determination and persistent hard work. People seem to have stopped criticizing her and finally respecting her. I think her confidence and the traditional female areas of her work (home making, crafting, decor) resulted in a long period of misogyny. I think she is awesome, just picks her self up and keeps creating. Go Martha.

No matter what she's done, and she's obviously done quite a lot over the years, I think she looks fabulous and "tasteful" as of course, Martha would demand. No exaggerated looks: bloated cheeks, big lips, altered nose, cat eyes, etc. It all looks pretty natural to me and that's hard to pull off for a woman in her 80s. That bathing suit layout was a hoot! I'm sure there were lots of photo/digital "nip & tuck" tricks used to make her look as good as possible..even with all she's had done. But that's not an uncommon practice for magazines. But Martha...come on...just be honest. Yes, as Dr Gary pointed out, you've taken excellent care of your skin and it's paid off, but no skin care regimen alone can make you look 20-30 years younger than you actually are. 🤨

I met Martha Stewart about 10 years ago, she is absolutely gorgeous. However, she's from an era when people would never admit when they had cosmetic procedures. The idea that she hasn't had any work done is ridiculous. But she's beautiful, it's really well done.

Actually a combination of fascia blasting and autophagy can have a significant effect in shrinking excess skin and lifting the internal structures. While not equivalent to a facelift, not everyone wants or can afford one.
Google “Dr Boz autophagy”. You can see how many have used autophagy to shrink their skin while losing weight, to the extent that some formerly morbidly obese patients have ended up with perfectly tight skin, with no surgery or anything else. The first time I got into a state of autophagy for several days, my neck skin visibly shrank and tightened. The great thing about it is it’s free!

@@palladium607 Of course. But some people age and sag much slower than others, while gravity remains constant. Aside from good genetics and good lifestyle, it’s possible to takes measures so that tissues tighten and remain springier, thus being better able to resist gravity.

The cover is full of photoshop, like usual, I couldn't say anything about the quality of her real skin.
She does have great skin naturally but magazines put so much filter no one looks like themselves IRL.

At age 65/66 - she looks so fresh faced & natural (even though she'd likely had some work done). We should all be so lucky to look so good going into our 'golden years'.

Most anyone can look better when you have the $$$$ and time to get it done. However it is not what's on the outside but what's on the inside that truly makes a person.
I'm going to be 55yrs old I have used a derma needle roller and red for wrinkles blue for inflammation and green light for spots; I also take vitamin k2 and face exercises 😊
I don't care if she's had work done. I love that she looks like herself and not like an alien. Whatever she's had done has been done judiciously and in good taste. Typical Martha. Just wish she would just be forthcoming about it bc she and her doctors have made great decisions and could teach others about how to do cosmetic changes the right way.

She's had work done and with lighting, filters and a great pictures.
In her younger pics, she had lots of prominent lines around her smile, and then all of a sudden, they were gone, and all that area in her lower cheeks was smooth. She was still quite young at this point. I would say that she must have had a lower facelift at this time which I don't think Dr. Gary spotted.

Whatever she's had done she looks fabulously natural. I have often questioned how much is done by makeup artists and especially photographic filters. Dr. Gary does appear to look past filters. For example the length of her earlobes. Wonderful video❤.

I will NEVER respect ANY plastic surgeon who fails to at least acknowledge the VERY REAL effectiveness of FACIAL EXERCISES. I haven't a clue if Martha is lying about having "no work done"---but I ABSOLUTELY DO KNOW that every single aging issue he points out can be drastically improved; and in most cases ELIMINATED, by adopting a consistent and proper FACIAL EXERCISE ROUTINE. In my experience (which I admit is by no means exhaustive) I've come across only ONE plastic surgeon who acknowledged the effectiveness of Facial Exercises....mind you, he was still advertising his services (which is fine), but at least he stated the fact that the face and neck can be lifted naturally. His sales pitch was "If you come see me, I can do in one afternoon that which would take six months to achieve with Facial Exercises." And he was correct: FACIAL EXERCISES ARE NOT A 'QUICK FIX'. It takes time, discipline and consistency to get results---just like any other muscle group---after all you can't get six pack abs in a week, either...lol. But it was so refreshing to FINALLY hear a Plastic Surgeon ADMIT the fact that Facial Exercises WORK WONDERS. To anyone reading this who seeks to age with youthful grace, please know these invasive and incredibly $$$ procedures are NOT the ONLY option---we none of us have to choose between going under the knife or letting our faces sag to our knees...lol....there IS another way. :)

One would think that if Martha Stewart did indeed have these procedures, she would capitalize on it instead of denying she had them. For heaven's sake, she looks amazing for 81 years old, with great skin, and some tasteful lighting and filtering help of course, but I would imagine there are marketing opportunities for her to exploit in this regard, right Dr. Linkov? Yea she's probably had a few sneaky upgrades over the years however she has aged gracefully but never believe none of these photos shown haven't been touched up.
