That collection is crazy. All the Zs are amazing!!! I only have 3, but whoa that collection is impressive!!, but an honorable mention goes to all the Marshalls as well. There has to be at least 500k in gear .Where is the droll imogi......So cool!!
That collection is intense. I could try out those different amps all day.

And thank you for most graciously and patiently showing me all this stuff, but it was so much to take in, and I'm really glad I got that second tour here. Thanks buddy, and thanks to Pam too. And lol at 11:37, totally clever. I want to go to another one now!
And of course thanks to Z and the team for making such wonderful musical instruments (amplifiers). I got to play through a few... the prescription and gaslight really stuck out, but maybe more so that Monza (the double power Ghia I think). It. was like all the clarity and detail of the Ghia, but times 4. Same core sound, but like more horsepower and the details and nuance between playing soft and hard were just astounding. And maybe my ears are just accustomed to greenbacks, but that green z-best cab with greenbacks was really something to behold too.

I’d love to go to one in Cleveland. I’m fairly close. Mansfield. It would be a great way to learn about ALL the Doc’s amps! And meet the modern Leo Fender!!

My first Z was an original RX, if there are plans to reissue that amp in some form I'm definitely interested, they sound amazing and like nothing else.
I have a Z-Lux and a Mini-Z. Gigged with the Z-Lux Saturday. The sound guys were in awe of it not me. (i meeped out my music - but, incredible tone.)
So, in all honesty…I own a perform with 2 Dr Z amps. Indoor smaller venues, Carmen Ghia combo w/ Creamback and outside, large events, Therapy Head w/ Dr Z 1x12” cab. Celestion Gold. My question is can you really tell, LIVE, the difference between any of these amps? Make no mistake, I love them, but other than a very High Fidelity sound, there pretty much the same. Live, that is…not beadroom application.
if anything you can hear more a difference the louder they are than quieter... the nuance comes out at playing volumes... and also something that is often overlooked is the player's experience and feel. A great painter can make a masterpiece with a brush designed to cover a barn, or a fine horse-hair brush, but which do you think they feel they can express themselves with more articulately?
I'd invite you to come to the shop some time and play a variety of our amps. I can guarantee you will have a preference between say a Z Wreck vs a Z-28.

Handy DeLisle amp switcher!
I actually don't use the DeLisle switcher - the build quality leaves something to be desired (problems with the plastic screws and nuts). I pretty much use the Ampeg switcher though it is difficult to locate in the wild. Two varieties of that also, one that is 6 solid state amp inputs and two tube amp inputs and the second one has 8 tube amp inputs. Built like a tank too!

speak about long term storage of tube amps. do the caps go bad? better to have storage in a cold room or a warm room?
modern cap types should last many many years. Anything 90s to the present should not go bad from storage. Amps like cool, and dry, the less moisture, the better.

@@geezberry8889 "dry" is more important than temperature. Keep the humidity down and they will be fine.
