- Hey everyone!! Thank for so many comments on my last video and watching todays! Sit back and have a listen to my letter I wrote Chris Watts, why someone would write a murderer, perhaps even why someone would ever want to write Chris Watts. Also I give some info on specific things you can and cannot write to a prison.

Mean spirited people suck. You take care of your marriage and kids and let everyone else take care of theirs. I say go with it - I think we've all thought about wanting to honestly understand - why? While his family seems a bit desperate - I have related numerous times. Imagining what Ronnie thought as he listened - realizing his grandchildren were dead and his son a self admitted murderer. And I saw genuine love there. Cindy ..... genuine love. Despite the ensuing madness. The investigators - genuine concern along with horror. It is a case that demands honest consideration.

Just ran across this vedio. Im commenting because of a few things. First I'll be glad to hear your friend second u never alone u always have a friend in whatever higher power if any u choose to believe in . third anything possible. Fourth I can't to watch rest of your vedio im halfway threw it. I'm hooked on this 1 and only case myself just to say . and faith lol saying numbers instead of just talking right lol. You are very interesting and I Love that you are open minded and interested in alot of things, including true crime. My ex was a correctional officer in a maximum security prison, so I learned alot of interesting things from him regarding this subject. You have a great personality and you are very likeable. You're doing a great job with this channel, so just continue being You and don't let anyone get you down. You do not overly ramble like some people do, you just explain things and get back to the subject quickly, unlike some others who get sidetracked for long periods of time. Very interesting bc I've also wanted to write to Chris Watts. I became consumed by the case when it broke. Then I got back into it during quarantine. More specifically I've been researching Shanann, her behavior, and her role in multi level marketing. There are a lot of things I noticed in her live videos that either sparked a memory or had me thinking. I know Chris could really answer any and all questions I have but there's one major issue. I don't believe a word that comes out of his mouth! Best of luck to you and I'm glad I came across your channel

I feel the same way as you! LOVE true crime. My mom got me into it, she was a Sharon Tate fan so the Manson case was devastating to her. That got her into it. The watts case was the one I would say was the biggest one I investigated in depth. I always wanted to write suge knight. I am to this day obsessed lol with 2pac…. It’s just that all that was soooo long ago. But still want to write him. Glad I came to your channel, your a lot like me! I would love to see future updates if they write you back!!!
First of all, I don't live in America. I don't understand a system like yours where you can get hundreds of years in prison. I live in Sweden, in nothern Europe. But I find it interesting to see how this progresses...don't really understand your wish to talk to him though, but you gave some reasons. I get that your reasons are not to fall in love with an inmate. Sorry if my english is not that good! Just wanted to leave a comment. I am a hairloss sufferer just like you. I get some support seeing someone else with the same problem, so thank you!! 😊

Its so true that the prison system in Canada is infamous for crazy sentences!! It's so interesting to me. And their life behind bars.
@@Digital_Dreaming_ i don’t understand what you say about infamous sentence in Canada… I am Canadian and for what I know, sentences in Canada are to soft: prisoners have more right and privileges than old persons in nursing home.
He mentioned in the 2019 interview that he only writes back to people who have written to him twice, so if you don’t get a reply you should write another!

@@Digital_Dreaming_ I've also heard him say in his second CBI interview at Dodge Correctional that if people ask him about the case he won't respond. Mainly he likes to talk about scripture and sports

Don't mention the case if you write him again. He doesn't write back to anyone that mentions the case. Talk football!

I've been following the Watts case since literally day one yet there are people who know way more than I do about it!
It's amazing.
Are you aware that he actually has pictures of his victims in his cell? And he "reads" to the girls every evening... I find that disgusting...

Welcome to the fascinating world of true crime. (True crime aficionado since reading Truman Capote's "In Cold Blood" in high school.)
There's a reason the TC genre is one of the most popular since the Victorian era; we get to delve into Sociology, forensic science, and the way various cases are investigated. Remember not every case that's "closed" is actually solved. This could be true in the Watts case, which is one reason it's so interesting and controversial.
The investigation was rife with ineptitude and corruption. For instance, the initial forensics investigation was primarily conducted by Frederick traffic cops, NO protocols were followed. The LEO who stated it was "chaos" was 💯 correct.
DA Roarke was involved in much shadiness as well, plus Anadarko financed his campaign.
The one thing I'd ask Christopher is what, exactly, were the "dark things that he'd take to his grave" he said NK and her friends were into.
Interesting how NK told him to google the lyrics to "Battery".
CW is obviously a blatant liar, as is NK. If the case had gone to trial, we'd know a lot more. I'm not even convinced his "confession" letter to Cheryln Cadle was truthful. 3 friggen "confessions" FFS. Quite the quagmire.

I've been corresponding with a serial killer now for over 2 years. I can you that telling the offender that you're writing, that you have a CZcams Channel, is more than likely going to turn them off pretty quick. lol

The name Nico was picked by shanann she wanted it because she wanted to name him after her grandfather. The middle name ‘Lee’ is Chris middle name which shanann also wanted. The name was picked as soon as they knew she was having a boy.
Your doing a great job! I feel I should warn you about pen pals even if they haven’t don’t horrible crimes. I used to be a correction officer and those guys really know how to play on your feelings. Just be careful

How do you write to him, and does he respond back
What if you wrote the people and then after you receive a response start making your video series about their specific case? That way it doesn't have time to go stale for your viewers?

I think that is a really interesting niche you have come up with. I cannot think of any true crime people that do that. Just as long as it is safe for you.
I wonder since he owes shannans parents lots of money, will he be able to have money on his books because i know in some county jails if you owe fines or court cost, any money that gets put on the books, the jail takes it to use for the fines etc. Just wondering how a prison works. Do you know?
I don't know!!! But something I would love to eventually find out. Such good questions. I do know he could have 1000k in his account but can only pull 180 a week. It makes it so no one person can be a financial king pin of the jail. So perhaps anything OVER that amounts gets garnished.

This man has a ton of time on his hands that's all he has is time so why would you think that he wouldn't read your letter he's probably bored out of his gourd of course she's going to read it there's nothing else to do. Besides eat sleep maybe workout maybe they've got classes in there more than likely but other than that he's stuck in a cell and not just that but he's also in protective custody so he is stuck.

Please take time to look at the actual discovery and the police video's so you don't mis represent the case. I thought all the same things you did prior to actually looking at the case in depth. The FB group: Chris Watts did NOT act alone. We want answers," can help you explore the different aspects of the case. The bottom line make sure if you are covering a case you are not just repeating what the media and the corrupt LE that handled this case presented. There is absolutely so much to this case and the deeper you dig the more twists and turns you find. We have three false confessions and a plea, none of which are supported by the discovery or the evidence of the case to tie him to the case. He isn't going to respond to your letter. CW doesnt' like the lime light and there is a reason he's given 3 false confessions and still isn't telling the truth.
Brenda Kauffman ...EXACTLY!!!! So many people don't realize all of what you said. It is pretty much known now that he did Not act alone, there were others there and He May not have killed the kids. There was no trial. A confession is not evidence. As You know, they need to open this case and finish investigating Nicole Kessinger. And several other things. This case was closed immediately and no thorough investigation was done. Ridiculous. But that is what Colorado is famous for doing. Lousy investigations and Lots of corruption in the PD. Just look at what a Lousy unfinished job they did with the Jon Benet Ramsey case!!!!!

Hi Gina, thank you for sharing this experience; the only part I don’t understand is why you dotted your ‘i’ with a heart. Also, I’m interested to know how much money he receives every week/month for his canteen allowance from strangers. I would think his family does.
A friend of a friend of mine was incarcerated in a Florida prison for 2-1/2 years - he had access to cigarettes, drugs, cell phone - all illegally, - but his dad was allowed to buy him a laptop so he could get on the internet, and he could also send e-mails. He played cards, ate good snacks, and worked out everyday with all his inmate buddies. Didn’t sound like much of a punishment to me. I got the impression he preferred his life in there instead of in the outside world where he would have to provide for himself, and live a responsible life.
You know, in my mind I considered mentioning it. It's part of my signature I normally do! I'd do the same writing to anyone. Thanks for asking!!
Omg I never considered he gets weekly amounts... I know prisons have a limit of how much the inmate can pull out. And from my last video we found out he owes Shananns family 8mill. Does that go to them?! Questions I'd love to know.
There is actually his canteen lists on CZcams and google. He orders a crap ton of snacks like brownies and honey buns lol. I don't think he's too concerned with maintaining a fit body anymore. He also orders normal things like deodorant and soap. He orders multiple items in bulk so it seems he has access to plenty of money
