I love your attitude 💛
Accept the balding- I’m working on that. I spent a lot on wigs and never felt like myself- kind of fake and self-conscious. So I’m working on accepting what I have 😊
I love your matter-of-fact attitude: how you still wear your hair up, live your life as normal and continue on your way without hair loss holding you back. I find it really inspirational & love seeing you on here - have been following since your VSG days. Please don't ever change! Thank you for the update, take care 😊
I am also losing a lot of my hair and have not been able to figure out why. Thank you for being so transparent about your hair loss and talking openly about it. I loved what you said at the end of the video, how you don’t worry about what other people think and that you are not ashamed of your hair loss. Your videos are encouraging more women then you know! ❤
Finally a post! Been thinking of u
Thanks for the update! I have missed your presence here and your matter of factly approach to this subject!
Omg girl I wondered what happened to you ! Missed seeing you hope you keep making videos 🤍
Welcome back !! Regards from Poland.
I love your attitude. My hair is thinning like hell and your videos help alot. It's often talked about men balding but I've never noticed much about woman
I am strugling also ...I do take biotyne, but so far zero results.
@@Lena-yj4il Stress? Some traumatic experience recently?
I forgot, try to avoid spray products as much as possible to hide alopecia, they clog the pores and could make your situation worse. At this stage you should try to always keep your scalp free and clean.
Thank you so much for sharing. You' re great!!!
Ahhh your back , I’ve missed your vids. I’ve just started topical minoxidil I’m at a stage now where I need drastic help. It’s so depressing:(
Mine is the same. I did Alma TED but nothing has changed. I just watch my hair fall out everyday. I use Ageless Beauty color spray on my scalp. It really helps hide the balding. Best wishes!❤
Your hair actually looks better. I don't see any more loss since last time I saw you. This is good! Is your hair wet or dry in this video?
Hi Gina , it really does not look any worse than the last time I saw you and it’s gotten so long . I have had an official diagnosis of Female pattern baldness ☹️. I think it’s worse but everyone including my stylist assures me it’s not . Still using my trusty Batiste and root concealer sprays , have looked into getting a hair topper but no more than that . Not prepared to wear a hair piece while the back and sides are pretty thick and full . Anyway thanks for this update , love and best wishes to EVERYBODY who is suffering the trauma of losing their hair 🫶🏻💐
Hi!! I wonder what the diagnosis does 🤔🤔 It use to be thin just at the part and now it's entirely global except for the nape of my neck. I'm now trying minoxidil, T/Gel shampoo and Nioxin shampoo! As well as starting multivitamins and fish oil shampoo.
@@Digital_Dreaming_ Not a lot really as I always suspected it was FPB , my mother’s hair went the same sorry way . I really really hope your new regime works for you 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻💐
@@suesmith3744 I'm the only one on either side of my family to bald. Even the men didn't. Ugh!
@@Digital_Dreaming_I have PCOS and that’s my cause personally. It’s worth a look into, also thyroid issues can cause hair loss as well.
I am slowly losing my hair my mother wore wigs for most of her adult life I haven't found a wig that I think looks good on me sometimes I just look at myself in digust I know I'm probably making a bigger problem out of this than it really is but I can't help it I feel like I tried just about everything from pills to topical solutions with no results I like your videos at least I know I'm not alone
Trust me you are not alone/me too/.
There are many of us out there 💔
I just want to alert people Minoxidil has a side effect that causes shedding, and it can last weeks to months. Doctors associate this as positive as it means the person will be a good responder. However, there have been people where it doesn't grow back and if it does, it's not recoup all the hair loss. I have lost 80 percent of my hair, and my cause is malabsorption, which causes low iron. I have yet to find someone despite seeing so many doctors who could help. Hair loss is incredibly frustrating and emotionally draining for women.
Are you talking about the oral (pill) minoxidil?
All minoxidil@@Germany-qo6ko
I have had hair loss from lupus since my 20s. I chopped my hair down to a pixie for almost 10 years, but have been growing it back out for about the last year and wanted to share what's been working for me.
I've had really good success recently with daily oral minoxidil. I like just taking a pill better than putting stuff on my thin, baby fine hair. Before minoxidil, I tried one of those red light therapy hats that I bought used off eBay and it was definitely helping as well - enough so that my rheumatologist noticed the difference. On days when I'm going out and dressing to impress (rarely), I've found that Scalp Foundation from Me Cosmetics works amazing. It costs more initially than the Batiste, but lasts a really long time. I've had mine over a year and I've barely dented the amount in the compact. (I have no affiliation with the company; it's just a good product.)
Re: your gastric reflux. I ignored mine for way too long because in the laundry list of things wrong that I have to deal with daily, that seemed like the least worrisome. Turns out, I was wrong and have severe damage to my esophagus. So, I would recommend don't ignore that one.
This is really helpful - thank you and best of luck.
What you have is what I have exactly. I'm going through some depression but you're so up I admire you. My husband is bald and he jokes we are going to match one day...and I wish I was a guy to go bald just like him. Oh I did watched your video from 4 years ago.
Hahaha some women can really pull off the bald look!! Not me. I would look like a dumpling. And I just can't wear wigs full time, it's annoying. So. I'm sparse lol
Hi Gina, good to see you. Wow, your hair grows longer and longer. Mind doesn’t. Question: is anyone or has anyone used oils? For example, I started six months ago using castor oil with rosemary oil, only a few drops per oil, but I found out that castor oil is too thick, the scalp doesn’t absorb much of it. So, I am thinking of buying argon oil and mix it with rosemary oil. Let me know if anyone has tried this. Thanks :). God bless you
Update castor oil + black pepper powder mix and don’t wash your scalp 10 to 15 days remember not hair but about the scalp experiment weather it work for you or not
HELLO GINA AND THANKS FOR THE UPDATE!
2 QUICK QUESTIONS:
ARE YOUR FOLLICLES IN THE BALD SPOTS DEAD LIKE THEY DO NOT PRODUCE ANY HAIR OR THEY PRODUCE WEAK HAIR THAT FALLS OUT RIGHT AFTER? I ASK BECAUSE I AM SUFFERING FROM THE SAME THING.
ALSO DO YOU FEEL YOUR HEAD EMPTIER AND EMPTIER OR AM I THE ONLY ONE WITH THAT FEELING?
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR THE RESPONSE . YOUR VIDEOS GIVE ME STRENGTH
Do you or did you have any itching? Flaking? Could you feel strands of hairs literally popping off your scalp? Like your scalp literally just spits it out and you can actually feel it? Do you have ridges on your nails? How long has it been going on? Mine it excessively falling out and it’s been a year already and it’s not stopping. I wish so much that I could have your confidence and attitude!!
Have you considered PRP? It works for female pattern baldness. It may not bring your entire hair back, but can certainly help stop the shedding and being some hair back
Using the oils have not made my hair grow. But, it has only been 6 months and the castor oil was not a good choice. God bless everyone. 🙏🦋
Trump probably uses Baptiste! He manages to cover 90% of his head with 30% of his hair. A Christopher Hitchens insight.
Hahahahaha I need to ask that man what his trick is!!
I don't know if you've ever tried Castor oil? But it is worth a try it has been so successful for use on the skin etc. It is worth a try it is all natural... 💌
I dont understand when people say they dont want to spray chemials on their head but will use puddy and hair spray and whatever else.
Im surprised your hair still looks the same pretty much as it has for years.
Did you have any hair loss befote your surgery? Any pics? Thats usually TE hair loss which grows back 😢
Turkey... Do women go their for transplants? They're as little as 10k. Thats a part time job for less than a year but you look fine and you seem okay with it.
You are beautiful inside and out ❤
There is oral minoxidil that works wonders
So, you are taking it now?
Just my opinion but u look like u have quite a bit more now!
I think so too!! It was definitely worse before
