  • By the end of this video - this young Prospect United Pitcher is throwing 10 MPH faster.
We've shown this before - Pitching off the mound with the VPX Harness, Rapsodo Analytics, Video Analysis, and top level coaching.
The VPX Harness allows you to FEEL what you're doing right and wrong, Video lets you SEE what you're doing right and wrong, coaching allows you to HEAR what you're doing right and wrong (and to get some serious advice and explanation for why things work as such) and finally the rapsodo analytics allows you to relate all these different things back to a result - your velocity.
Kids in particular aren't always able to understand what they're being told, and immediately relate it back to pitching or other baseball mechanics - this is where the VPX Harness generally comes in - feeling what's wrong and right is easily absorbed and by kids and we've seen time and time again - that they make huge gains because they're forced into a better position, and to use more of their body when pitching.
That being said, this young Prospect United Pitcher is a total stud! Super glad to have him on the team this year!

I haven’t touched a baseball in over 2 years where I was was throwing 63mph at 11 and was the best 2nd best pitcher on my team I got motivated to play baseball again since high school is next year. I watched this video and one other about mechanics and was going to use them I used my old stance and pitched a few pitches and topped out at 58mph than threw after tweaking the stance I threw between 66-72mph after that which is insane I am going to keep using this stance an start batting more and hope to make the team l.

With respect, increase in speed does not matter if we are not throwing strikes or off setting the hitter. Correct.

Speed is also a part of the whole pitching lessons. They do teach everything.

When I was 10 I just picked up a glove and tossed low 60s and played for fun. I wish I had access to a college level training program. Jusg got on one as a sophomore in high school and already went from 80-86 in 6 months.

@@_Jhill I did a lot of 80 percent max dead lifts explosive. Sprints, shoulder strengthening and rows etc. split squats, lunges, rdls. Med ball slams and scoops. Also tweaked mechanics out
