Thank you again for another amazing Luke video!! I love that Luke created his own crystal rather than used an old one, it shows that he’s no longer wants to be weighed down by the past and is foraging his own future. Although I will admit, the canon story of how he found a natural crystal is great.

Since it says you need 3 crystals, I would theorize that Luke used his synthetic crystal, his natural crystal he found on Christophas, and Qui-Gon Jinn’s crystal.

Even though that’s a nice fan theory, I like that Luke didn’t just go back to relying on the lightsabers of deceased Jedi and created his own lightsaber with his own crystal. That lightsaber and crystal were connected to Luke’s force, which is why it was so well balanced and why Luke felt it was an extension of himself and not just a weapon

I like this story more as it shows how he found a way when there was no way. But the new canon cool too because it shows the life lesson of qhat is for you will find you.
