The joy and overwhelm of moving in! Thank you for taking us on this journey with you. I’m so excited for you guys. Trying not to be impatient on our dream home! We have talked about it, and are looking but also trying to pay off some debt beforehand. We are trying to be out of debt by the time we make the switch so the house will be paid off when we sell. It takes time but as you said. This was a long time coming and a lot of work, prayers and patience.
The bags for each bathroom is so smart!!
As a fellow home birthing mama, I teared up when you said the boys were born in the house and said goodbye. I know it will be emotional for us as this is our first home, we have been here 10 years and had all 3 of my babies here. Okay tears are literally falling hahahah

Such a good idea for a bag for each bath! We we military growing up and my mom always said she would pack a box to unpack first with sheets for everyone, towels, toilet paper etc and I’ve used that. So helpful!! Thanks for the reminder about hand towels. We are under contract now!!
The snow looks beautiful. I would love seeing all the wildlife. Watching your kids eating on the floor brought a tear to my eye. My boys were 5 & 7 when we moved into our home. They still remember eating Taco Bell on the kitchen floor that first night. Can’t wait to see it all finished.
When I moved out of my old house(and I was only renting it), I deep cleaned it when all my stuff was out. I felt like I had to leave it a better condition than when I got it in the first place... I mag be a weirdo, but yeah. Lol. Just had to comment because you deep cleaned your house, and it reminded me of our recent move(2 months ago)!!!!

What a beautiful place you have! Your property is like a picture! You are so blessed! We are also in the middle of a snowstorm here in north Idaho. It’s so gorgeous! We are also fortunate to see deer and other wildlife here. We went to visit our son when he lived in Alaska and he told us to watch out for moose. Didn’t see a single one. But 2 days after we got home we had 3 moose in our little culdesac! We live close to Lake Coeur d’Alene where the bald eagles come every year to feast on fish. We can sit in our car and watch the eagles dive for their fish!

What a beautiful new house,are you still in Michigan? We sold our house in Clyde( Port Huron) 4 months ago too move into our RV full time.I am to old for the cold Michigan winters,so we are in TX until May,then we will be back in Michigan for the summers.

Loving the video! We had the same thing happen with the jetted tub when we bought our house. Pretty sure it was dirt and mold coming out 😵 if you figure out how to get it clean let us know! I tried so many things unsuccessfully
I think the bleach water did the trick. I haven’t seen any black stuff since and I’ve taken several baths

I had the same tub. We were told to use vinegar & not bleach. The jets are plastic

We drive our oldest to school, it’s closer now! and my husband is self employed, owns his own business. We live in Michigan. Big mitten on the USA map 🇺🇸
What do you use to clean your sinks, walls, windows? I have used for a long time a mixture of vinegar and water (different dilution rate depending on what I am doing), but I was just curious. I try not to use chemicals if I can as I know they aren't the best for us and I get allergies from strong scents. Thank you!
I was using branch basics but I’ve since switched to ecosense by melaleuca

Why don’t you carry a bucket of water into the rooms with 2 cloths and cleaning stuff in it. Then you don’t have to keep going back and forth to clean the rag? And I think little guy following you is coz to him he’s in a place the size of a mall. He doesn’t want to get lost.

Moving sucks I don't envy you at all my dad was military I know about moving can't tell you all the times we moved to many times
Love my dad and truly appreciate his military career he was Navy attached to Marine corps God bless him and I used to thank him for his service a lot he's my true hero
