This was absolutely precious! And makes me want all this sweet peacefulness when my 3rd baby gets here in September. I will have a 21 mo old, 3 year old, 10 year old and new born at home! So yes bring on the routines. Especially when it comes to adding in the newborn to the daily routine with other kiddos. Probably what I’m most nervous about is learning to juggle it all and not leave anyone out or feeling like they are not getting enough attention!
I have a 10 yo, 8 yo, 7yo, a 3 yo and a new born. Trust me I wake up every morning hunting the moments to give attention to my older ones. Is fun. Yes the house is not in the best shape all the time....but they are happy and fed emotionally and that's what matters. It won't be like this for ever. The Holy Spirit will help you ig you ask him to!
I also have a 21 month old, I'm due for my newborn in August
I'll have my 3rd in September too 🙂 I have an 11 year old and 6yr old.

Two handsome precious boys were delivered this week (I'm sure many more and girls too). My girlfriend from a military base had birthed Monday 25th. She and her husband had been trying and she had all sorts of odd issues while he was in utero. But she and baby are healthy. New Dad is so proud of his wife for all her hard work. They struggled, but God is so amazing!! Bless your sweet family. And yes, church family / work family can be so helpful during this time. ❤️❤️
I watched ur birth and cried...it's been almost 26 years since I had my son...treasure all their moments...it flies by...such a sweet family. Congratulations!!

Every time i gave birth to my baby, i could not have "cold" food like salad, raw veggies, and coffee was discourage especially during exclusive breastfeeding. Had to have warm bath/shower and constantly putting on socks. 🤭 Oh, and belly wrapping for around 2 weeks.

Congratulations again!! I watched your birth video so getting to see this first week with Tommy is awesome. He is SOOOO ADORABLE!! I miss the days when my kids were newborns and just slept and ate and snuggled all the time. He seems like such a good baby! I’d love to see other videos of what it’s like when you’re feeling 100% and how you handle life with a newborn and five other kids. I also can’t believe he was over 9lbs because you made labor look so natural and easy. I agree that women’s bodies were made to create these little human beings and our bodies naturally know what to do. I wish your channel was around the two times I was pregnant because you really are an inspiration in how you took care of yourself throughout your pregnancy, which is why I think your labors seem almost calming. I watched your video when you had your last son before you had Tommy and it was just as amazing. I was so scared of the pain and all the “what ifs” regarding complications etc. and making sure my babies came out with no issues or anything. I had back labor with my daughter. It started on her due date after I’d seen my OB and I finally went to the hospital about 36 hours later. I hadn’t slept and my contractions weren’t consistent and being my first child, I wasn’t sure when to go to the hospital. But my body knew when things were progressing and that little voice inside my head told me it was time to go to the hospital. I was halfway dilated and once I got the epidural, I felt like I could do anything. They finally broke my water because I was progressing quickly and pushed for almost 3 hours. I just couldn’t get her out and I’m honestly not even sure if I was pushing right lol. So my dr. finally called it and asked if I wanted a C section. I was honestly thrilled because I had shattered my ankle a year and a half prior, which I had to have emergency surgery for to rebuild it with screws and a 6 inch plate. Basically I was less scared of surgery than I was of pushing a baby out of you know where. I knew that recovery was going to be more intense than delivering vaginally but like is said, I knew what recovering from surgery was like but I did not know what recovery from childbirth was like. I was literally scared to death, even though everything throughout my pregnancy was normal. But I guess it was God’s plan for me to go the route I did. I had my son via C section as well and it was weird knowing the date he was going to be born and not actually going into labor with him but I didn’t miss those back contractions!! I’m glad your birth plan went the way you wanted it to go and I can’t wait to see more videos of you family of 8 now. Best of luck and God bless!! 💙

What a wonderful way for your children to be able to wander in and visit you and baby when ever they want. It was always so stressful for me when my husband would bring all the kids to my tiny hospital room to visit. It would not be long before I wanted him to take them home again. And he would have to be home with all of them instead of at the hospital with me. Not so much for the first few but definitely by the time we were having 6-8. My mom was not much help with that many children. You are so blessed!
