I was in a fraternity and while all this seems important and is the focus at the time, in reality all of this is meaningless. After graduation I came to see that there are huge problems in the world that we need to work to solve, such as fighting racism, which actually kills people.
That’s a Hollywood stereotype. Sorority girls as a group are no sluttier than any other group of women- in fact most Greek orgs espouse high ideals of morality and chastity until marriage. It was more so pronounced like that in the early days when sororities were created so that college women could retain their feminine rearing and etiquette so as to be ready for homemaking while studying and after graduation in whatever career.
that's so weird they don't tell you you have no houses beforehand so you have to get all ready and cute just to go home potentially
