  • In this reaction we take a look at Nerd Robots video titled: "Bible Vs Quran - Character Comparison". The Bible and the Quran, central texts in Christianity and Islam respectively, feature many overlapping characters, albeit with varying narratives and emphases. For instance, both scriptures recount the lives of figures like Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus, though their roles and stories differ. In the Bible, Jesus is the Son of God and central to Christian theology, whereas in the Quran, Jesus (Isa) is a revered prophet, not divine, and his crucifixion is denied. Similarly, while Moses is a key figure in both texts, leading the Israelites out of Egypt in the Bible, the Quran also highlights his struggles against the Pharaoh and his significant prophetic role. Additionally, the Quran introduces some unique perspectives, such as a more explicit emphasis on Ishmael (Ismail) in the story of Abraham. These differences reflect the distinct theological and narrative frameworks within which each religious tradition operates.

    I don't know why the video doesn't mention that in the Bible, they attribute atrocious immoral acts to some prophets of God. Like Noah drunk in a beach, Lut sleeping with his daughters, Solomon, etc .

      Noah never drunk in a beach that's a lie. Lot was drunk by his daughters, they were the ones who did it without him knowing it in order to give him descendants so again that's a lie from you. the bible tells the truth about what happened without changing anything to embellish things. now stop listening to people and go read the bible by yourself.

    "100 My Lord! Bless me with righteous offspring."
    101 So We gave him good news of a forbearing son.
    102 Then when the boy reached the age to work with him, Abraham said, "O my dear son! I have seen in a dream that I ˹must˺ sacrifice you. So tell me what you think." He replied, "O my dear father! Do as you are commanded. Allah willing, you will find me steadfast."
    103 Then when they submitted ˹to Allah's Will˺, and Abraham laid him on the side of his forehead ˹for sacrifice˺,
    104 We called out to him, "O Abraham!
    105 You have already fulfilled the vision." Indeed, this is how We reward the good-doers.
    106 That was truly a revealing test.
    107 And We ransomed his son with a great sacrifice,
    108 and blessed Abraham ˹with honourable mention˺ among later generations:
    109 "Peace be upon Abraham." I hope this series of verses explain that he was neither forced, but rather given a choice of sacrificing him, in the end he got rewarded for his obedience to God's command, which is drastically different from the walking dead parallel of where Neegan forced someone.

    In Islam there are two titles. Prophet & Messenger. All messengers are prophets. But not all prophets are messengers. Let me explain further. The simplest of explanations is can try to give is that a PROPHET is a chosen leader/individual that will lead his people to God and goodness etc. Simple. But a MESSENGER is a prophet that not only leads his people etc. but ALSO receives NEW revelations/rulings and messages that aren’t revealed before to his people. They either received it directly from God and/or through His Angels. Adam is a Prophet/Messanger. Bcoz he the first man to receive the first revelations that didnt revealed before bcoz he is literally the first. Noah is a Prophet/Messanger. Same with Moses, Jesus and Muhammad, peace be upon them all. Now people like Solomon, Zechariah, John and a few others are ONLY PROPHETS. They lead and convey messages. But they did not receive NEW rulings or revelations. They just convey and maintain the ones revealed before them to the earlier Prophets. Hope you can understand a lil bit atleast of my explanations. Peace🙏🏽

    I did not create jinn and humans except to worship Me. 56 Adh-dhariyat. You can choose to worship God or not (Free will). But if you want to succeed in this world & hereafter only by worshiping God.
    Whoever desires the harvest of the Hereafter, We will increase their harvest. And whoever desires ˹only˺ the harvest of this world, We will give them some of it, but they will have no share in the Hereafter. 20 Ash-shuraa.
    The task from god is simple 🤏🏻 worship god alone and he will give success in hereafter. That all. He don't ask you to think deeply in theology or know yourself is a part of god blablabla. Not that. Follow his command and do it ✅ That is simple task but not all people can do it.

    Despite rejecting Jesus divinity, Islam accidentally incorporated a story about Jesus which shows he is divine: creating birds out of clay and bringing them to life. This was copied from a fanfic from the 2nd century. His in genesis AND in the Quran makes living beings out of clay and gives them life; so too does Jesus according to the Quran.

      Jesus is also the one who judges on the last day, too, is he not? Likewise in the Bible; but in the Bible it makes sense because Jesus is God and therefore has the ability to be judge because he is omniscient. That’s why he is likewise called the Alpha and the Omega.
      The Quran repeatedly says Allah sends people to heaven or hell, but somehow Jesus is the judge.. so isn’t it therefore Jesus who sends to heaven or hell? Maybe it’s because yet again the Quran borrows from Christians but doesn’t understand the theological implications of what these beliefs have.
      Jesus is the Alpha and Omega- just what Allah says he is. Jesus is judge. Jesus heals Lepers- which is a disease that only God can heal. Jesus gives life to Clay because that’s something God does.

    If you do not worship God, you are worshiping Satan without realizing it.
    Satan uses life to make you follow material things such as money, women, and luxury as if they are salvation, making them your god. He frightens you with poverty and weakness.
    God Almighty shows a group of those whom Satan misleads. These people are completely taken over by Satan, who dominates their minds and hearts with his whispers and temptations until they follow him in everything he commands, becoming obedient tools for Satan. He makes them forget the remembrance of God in their hearts and tongues. God says: "On the Day God will resurrect them all, and they will swear to Him as they swear to you, thinking that they have something. Indeed, they are liars. Satan has taken hold of them and made them forget the remembrance of God. Those are the party of Satan. Indeed, the party of Satan-they will be the losers." (Al-Mujadila: 18-19). And He says: "Did I not enjoin upon you, O children of Adam, that you not worship Satan-for indeed, he is to you a clear enemy-and that you worship Me? This is a straight path. And he had already led astray from among you much of creation, so did you not use reason?" (Ya-Sin: 60-62).True intelligence, which every person can achieve regardless of educational level or degrees, is to understand the meaning of life and reflect on one's existence in this life and its purpose. True intelligence does not mean claiming to know the truth but finding the undeniable truth. Some may claim intelligence over others, but the truly intelligent one is the one who succeeds in the end.What does God say about the intelligent ones?"And there is for you in legal retribution [saving of] life, O people of reason, that you may become righteous." (Al-Baqara: 179)."He gives wisdom to whom He wills, and whoever has been given wisdom has certainly been given much good. And none will remember except those of understanding." (Al-Baqara: 269)."Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding." (Aal-E-Imran: 190)."Say, 'Not equal are the evil and the good, although the abundance of evil might impress you.' So fear God, O people of understanding, that you may be successful." (Al-Maida: 100).

    • @AndreasEischhoefer
      @AndreasEischhoefer Před 21 dnem

      This is the point. The point is more scientific rather than feelings and social environments. You cannot create images of people who we never saw before and don't know how they look like especially about such important characters in history and religion. It is equal to citing in science. You cannot claim any thing without citing its source or origin. This could lead to remaining these images in the heads of people and they might really believe they look like that. This is exactly what's happened to Christians today and this why the put images of Jesus and Mary in the church's and pray to them.

      @@stayspiritualanother thing I noticed your way of not taking things seriously. This shows the arrogance and ignorance you have. Which is fine it is not my problem. Never think or believe you are smarter than people to whom you are writing. This is a big mistake. We also have great knowledge in all fields of science. We don't believe in religion because we are stupid but rather because we are smart ;) any way, I like your channel. It is sometimes important to go through this process of thinking and criticism and looking at things from different angles.

    • @AndreasEischhoefer
      @AndreasEischhoefer Před 21 dnem

      Because these could remain in people's minds and over long period of time people start believing that they really looked like that. Note this happens to the "Christians" and they started putting them in church's and praying to them...
