Exhaust setup in video
- cts catless downpipe
- front res delete
- Rs5 oem exhaust with res and muffler delete
- 034 stage 2 e85 tune

Doesn’t sound the best, however I’m my opinion it sounds amazing for a b9/9.5 - Hry
I bought the s4 after watching my friend's video
The best video ever
Those are some clean rollers. Good looking car bro
Wow!!That's as perfect as a car can sound
This should be the standard of how to showcase exhaust sounds. should've thrown some pulls in there! Sounds amazing. I love my 9.5 even though its still stock!
Thanks for the feedback, I plan to post some pulls and interior pov soon!
The first 16s dissuaded me. The middle note sounds like a honda civic with exhaust. Love the car but that note makes it sound like a ricer, unfortunately
@@tejinderlamba1618 im waiting ❤
@@vannguyen-gq8iy I just posted a new vid!
That mid-rpm resonance would drive me crazy. I have a 2020 with the IE downpipe and pre-muffler delete on 034 stage 2 e85. The drone around 2k rpms is a little annoying. I'd like to just get a catback, but I want to keep the exhaust valves, so it would probably cost me at least $2,500 if not $3k which I'd rather spend on a turbo upgrade.
To be honest, in the car it sounds so good and unique. Outside of the car I’ve gotten mixed reviews.
I was really happy with having a catless downpipe and front res delete
Nah this sounds sick, super clean roller and exhaust clips.
SOUNDS sick to me !
Thanks!!
Ngl this sounds amazing
Thanks!!!
LOVE IT
💪🏽
Sounds good
Thanks bro!
Please post more 😅
Turbo noises sound better than sex 😂
Why does this sound so unique? Does the rs5 exhaust merge to a single then back to duals? Typically merging is the best way to get the rasp on the audi 6 cyl stuff. Like the 2.7 sounds vest with a single
I’m actually glad you asked, rs5 has a single exhaust pipe to dual rs5: dual pipe to single to dual. Stock s4 pipe stays dual all throughout.
Could you tell us which exhaust settup is this is please.. i has a b9.5 s4 its straight piped up to the rear with standard silencers.. i will be changing soon as i want the rs4 / rs5 rear pipes and bumper. Mine does sound very similar to this just not quite as good.. but would like to go for somethibg like this.. cheers
@@AlexBaird-hb9qx this is actually a factory rs5 exhaust tip
The RS5 is twin turbo that's the difference
Please post more
What are those wheels. I have the exact same trim and color and am looking for wheels.
did you change your rear diffuser at all ?
buying one of these on Monday, just curious how you got the spool to sound more defined? Is it just an intake or is that mainly the downpipe giving it that definition?
Exciting! As far as turbo spool goes, you’re gonna want an open air intake. In regards to the turbo spool on the exhaust side, a catless downpipe and front resonator delete got me the most turbo noise.
@@tejinderlamba1618 I’ll assume that requires a tune? The Downpipe part I mean
Im about to get a 2019 myself sounds good have you been able to shoot any flames with that setup?
I haven’t really shot any flames or tired, because it’s on e85
That tone change at certain RPM sounds terrible... I'm catless and no resonators but my Titanium exhaust still has an H and X pipe crossed sections that really smooth out the delivery... this sounds like some literal budget stainless straightpipe
I actually like the fact that the tone changes, if it was constant it would be worse imo. I’ve heard a few high end exhaust setups for this car but nothing that actually sounded good enough to purchase. However I guess it just comes down to taste.
@John Fiocca I had a friend in the car and he said it sound like something outta Star Wars 😂
I have a 2020 S5 with AWE track Exhaust. Would the RS5 tips fit that? Did you have to do a bumper conversion?
Tbh I’m not sure, but I think it may be worth trying. I didn’t have to modify my bumper
Where did you get the exhaust tips. Checking with my parts department the tips come with the muffler and we roll
Straight pipe. Did you cut them to fit?
@@do313oy so my tips are from a factory rs5 exhaust/the exhaust that is on the car rn is from an rs5 but I got the muffler cut out and tips re-welded on. I think you can find different brand rs style tips on eBay
@@tejinderlamba1618 I appreciate it!
It sounds good from the outside yes. I bet it’d be annoying af after a while in cabin with the constant droning
Is that a stock turbo
Lovr my red S4 just wish i didn't crash my quantum grey lol
I’m gonna be honest, I really regret not getting a red one 😭😭
@@tejinderlamba1618 hah! The truth is we need both. I don't see any absolutely any B9 OR B9.5 in red near me. I also have grey interior and carbon mirrors plus oem spoiler. Took months to come off the port waiting for all the black OEM parts
You have an atmospheric blow off valve? Or just that Ecs vented plate?
Neither, it’s just a cts intake actually.
He got an atmospheric diverter valve spacer for sure
@@salami841 nope just cts intake
Where did you find the oval exhaust tips
It’s actually a modified factory rs5 sb exhaust
does it drone by chance?
Yes, barely at 72-74, past that the entire car start rattling
How loud would it be if I did a resonator and muffler delete?
Keep you mufflers. Go high flow racing cat and x pipe.
@@macsudbrack4528 did you go CTS cat?
Hey bro, Can I get suspension and wheel size information?
Shoot me a dm on insta! @sikh_s4
Not really a fan. There are some cool sounding sections of the range but it’s just overall too loud. If you’re louder at 5 mph than 90% of cars are at WOT, that’s not good. There’s a difference between sounding loud and sounding good.
Strangely enough this car is really quiet still at WOT. But I do agree with you!
It sounds nice, especially when you went full throttle but I can't get over it sounding like a trombone at that certain rpm range when you were just cruising, it'd kill me to keep hearing it lol. Could it be the oval tips causing it to sound like that? for example of a Trombone ~~> czcams.com/video/8-fkvWFSeYc/video.htmlsi=VKUCs8zrIY6rtSnF
Straight pipe is too raspy and riced. Should've just kept stock exhaust with catted DP or just full exhaust
I do agree with you to an extent, I just wanted a different tone. I’m tired of the way every b9/9.5 sounds, this setup is definitely different and doesn’t sound the best overall but it’s actually nice for a change. The downshifts sound exotic 😂
sounds like a vq lmao
so much slander in these comments, this car isnt making no 300 hp lmfao
😂😂
cabin POV?
I gotchu, as soon as cali weather get a little better!
@@tejinderlamba1618 I might go for an x pipe for my b9 s5, how’s the drone with straight pipe? I daily the s5 so I have to keep it a little calm lol
@@karamjitsidhu423 the drone is terrible rn lol 😂
somehow lilbro made a b9 sound bad LOL
Is the diesel s4 ?
That drone would get annoying.
Wasn’t terrible, noticeable but not terrible.
Kinda sounds like it’s having a voice crack
Bruh that’s hella funny
@@tejinderlamba1618 🤣🤣 love the car tho 👌👌
@@user-cq1jm5dh2j thank you man!!!!!!
I dont know whats all the hype of a farting exhaust, to me it sounds like ****, to each his own
Honestly at this point Damm near every new car farts, I’m not really a fan of the farts, but I do digg the sharts. This car has a TCU tune so it’s a little less farty than factory.
That sounds horrible. Add some resonators
A bit too trumpety for my liking
Sounds awful man
this is truly awful
I bet the drone is immense lol. I have a B9 as well, and the drone is god awful in that 2000-2700 range, just the nature of the engine if Catless 🥲
It’s bad but not like the worst thing
