Surf to Streets: Mauritius Travel Photography

... in which I do it tough to bring you my experiences of trying to capture the magic of Mauritius through photography, all the while managing to resist making a single dodo joke. I start out with film, quickly move to digital and traverse the breadth of the island from the beautiful beaches of Le Morne to the busy streets of Port Louis. But do I find photographic Utopia or is it just a case of Paradise Lost (opportunity)?

Wow! Mark so may good photos to choose from. If I had to choose, then the urban ones just edge it for me. The film ones were especially terrific - no doubt about it, film does have a certain special quality, hard to put in words but the eyes can tell it!

Thanks for the feedback. I'm definitely more comfortable with my feet on concrete than the sand but yes, film does have that certain something.
