New viewer, and first thing I thought when Baron was showing his skincare routine was he could get a job as a audible narrator, his voice would be prefect for a load of characters!
Also I appreciate seeing Barron wanting to be more active with filming. He's super knowledgeable and goofy. Y'all have an adorable dynamic that's super fun to watch
I was really proud of Barron during that move. He handled the stress so incredibly well, acting as though it wasn’t stressful at all! I don’t know how he does it.
@@veronicag4593 Eh, I wouldn't call that scary or angry. Releasing frustration in a healthy way (he didn't yell towards Elsa, he just let it out) is totally fine and I'd still classify that as calm.
@@DustTheNationyour exactly right! Makes my clown car camping more realistic, lol, even though I overpack for the ever changing Canadian weather. Thank you for not editing out Barron’s frustrated yell when he was trying to re-hitch the Scamp. It’s so refreshing to be shown the not-so-perfect-happy-shiny side of both tiny living, relationships, and youtubers in general!!!♥️ new fan ♥️
I’ve always dreamed of a tiny home or converted van for nomad living, but ever since I stumbled upon your channel it’s nice to see what is feasible and realistic to do without and still make that dream possible, all with a good car and a little scamp! Stay safe and always happy you two. ❤️
I highly recommend that shower pump. I am a caregiver to a bed bound senior and this makes hair washing so easy. I also use it to rinse my pups outside in the summer. Handy to have!!
To clean blackened inside window panes of fireplace insert doors, I used wet newspaper. The installer recommended it, and it worked like a charm. I’d scrub them w wetted newspaper and dry them w dry newspaper. Maybe this would work on Scamp?
After watching what the crazy happenings going on in our capital, I was so glad to see this new video of yours. After just a few minutes, I could feel my stress leaving my body. Thank you. Your videos are so relaxing to watch. You probably don’t realize how important your videos are to the health of many people. Please keep them going.
Boon docking is an adventure requiring different ways of thinking like which direction to park the Scamp to maximize the sun and stove heating and how to turn around on a single lane dirt road in the snow. You guys do it with grace. Loved the music!
Thank you for giving us a realistic view of what this life style is. I try doing it and so many things went wrong I got discourage 🙅🏽♀️. But you have inspire to try again because things like this happen😃😃😃.
Your videos continue to be informative and entertaining, without becoming annoying like so many other CZcamsrs. Even as you move into new styles of shooting/editing/producing content for your viewers, it doesn't feel too forced or fake to me. It's great to see you stay true to yourselves and your lifestyle, and keep bringing that consistent, balanced, refreshing outlook on life that you guys have. I was going to say what James just said. You are going to start a movement😆. I just love everything about what you guys are doing and your videos. You are heightening people's awareness of the Great Outdoors. You have amazing skills, both of you. Thanks for all of your awesome videos.
The situation with the wire gate .. it’s something you can undo and go through just your classic ranch gate to keep the cows in or out as long as it’s public land ✌️
Hiya Elsa & Baron, It was you that convinced me to install a Cubic Mini Cub stove in my 13` Freedom microlite Caravan. A couple of suggestions Re your stove pipe. I have a chimney cowl that resists down draughts and improves the draw on the chimney. It was a really good choice. It also adds height to the flu which improves draw. My 3" stove pipe is 2 x 1 metre sections. However, I cut off about 7" from the top pipe and attached thev7" section to the stove + a 1 metre section. This means that about 6" of that section sticks out above the rubber flashing. When towing the caravan I cap the flue with a rubber aquarium pipe cap with jubilee clip. When parked up I add the other section of pipe which has the cowl permanently attached with anothrr jubilee clip. When towing I cap the bottom of that pipe with another rubber cap and cover the cowl with a strong plastic bag secured by a short bungee cord wrapped around the bag and flue pipe. I also noticed that you use the compressed heat logs which are great. However, I use a telescopic blow pipe to get the heat log to ignite with a flame. Once ignited and producing good heat I close the dampers to give just enough air to keep the stove burning steadily. If the flue gets too cold then I get smoke blowing back, so, I try to keep the stove hot, around 400C The blow pipe was really cheap on ebay but it's one of my best buys for the stove. I can get the stove roaring in minutes with only a few glowing embers. My stove is a permanent fixture in my caravan and never been a problem when towing. I had a heat shield made from 3mm stainless by a local blacksmith which was another best buy. I heard you mention that you wondered whether you should've bought the bigger Grizzly stove. I would say not. Your Cub stove will perform best when you load it up and initially get a good bed of hot coals, then tweak the air glow controls. Hope these comments help. Love your videos. 💕
I remember the days when Jim would move our Scamp by hand, but have our Lab and me sit on the bed as ballast. I would love to camp in the snow for a couple of days - I think I’d just tie our dog to something too as she would love it. Stay warm!
Thank you Elsa and Barron for another great video !!! You three kamp included make the best team. Thanks for giving us a peek into your amazing adventure I can’t wait for the next video!!
We are currently away in our camper trailer for our Christmas summer break (Australia) and have found ourselves in a week of very mild (for summer) weather. I was complaining about how chilly the late night/early morning bathroom run has been, but turning on your latest vid reminds me how easy and comfortable we really have it and puts things into perspective. I could literally sit and listen to Elsa giggle and Barron talk all day...super soothing voice. You guys are so awesome. Thank you for sharing your lives with us.
I have an RV, and I don't live in it full time...yet, but I do camp in the winter in the back country of Alaska. I bought chains for the tires, so I make sure I never get stuck, especially with our winters.
Great Mini-series. Barron’s frustrations while out in the cold can be felt! Kamp wrapped in the blanket is just like my dog Barron! (Barron loves to wrap up in a blanket at night, shares the bed with me! Owns two blankets he does!)
Barron is still the princess he was in highschool! Haha. Glad you guys are livin the dream bro. Keep up the hard work! You guys are inspiring everyone who watches
Great video...i just love to watch, seeing scenery through your camera... Love Camp, he is adorable. That lonely feeling is a big part of being connected to nature on pure base. I know. I live alone in my Tiny house in the middle of nowhere.....
Little winter tip from north Dakota. Shift some things in your trailer to add a little more tongue weight to your trailer. It'll at traction to the back of your suv .
