I'm late as hell to the party but I just recently found that Joyner Lucas song "Ross Cappicione" (spelling) and it's right up there with Stan as far as storytelling goes. Hard to believe this song is almost 20 years old and still as powerful as the first time I heard it.
He get's to "please tell me he ain't bout to get in a crash bro", and I'm just thinking "oh it's much darker than that". Just wish there was a un-bleeped version being used in these as while the meaning of what's going on can be understood, it's so much more vivid with the full lyrics.
Watch him do it at the Grammys with Elton John. Not for a reaction just to see it. No huge effects or anything, just a flawless performance. It's impressive.

It's good for the live performance to showcase EJ's skills and keep things par but not for the song's mood that was nailed on the original.
At the time Eminem had people wanting to be him and stuff so he wrote this as a warning of what not to do as his response to his quick success and largely growing fandom. Great reaction I subbed
