People giving a thumbs down have NO knowledge of horsemanship. You watch the way the hoses stand, their tails, their ears etc and they are relaxed and paying full attention to their leader. Absolutely wonderful!
He is in total control of these horses and it is remarkable I use to have horses and ponies I'm lucky I rode my mare without any interruptions. These horses are well trained and loved.
@ANA MUNOZ Arabian horses are unique. Once they attach to a specific human they are totally loyal and will willingly cooperate with anything you ask of them as long as you have taught them what you want.
As someone who has worked with horses my whole life, let me tell you... I can't even fathom how he has trained them all to go through these movements basically on their own!?! Horses can be trained to do almost anything, but I've never seen them do anything like this without direct cues from their trainer??
Did you hear the woman's voice giving commands while music was playing? What thrills me is they prove how smart horses are.They saved a lot of owners' lives when horses were ridden.
I think there were other Trainers in the wings giving quadrants to move & naturally stay with the herd. Just amazing overall & I identified with the horses in their trust with their handler/handlers….. I was in tears the whole nine yards & grateful for this amazing show of horse sense. Just amazing! ❤

I just love horses, I always have ever since I was a baby and I was put on my first pony. These are amazingly beautiful and so well trained. Animals are way smarter than most people realize and they love their families both human and horse families more than we know. We have had horses and when a mare passed away that we owned her daughter mourned so badly that for a month she stood in the middle of our pasture and wouldn’t eat, she didn’t whiny or nicker, she avoided us and she just hung her head. We didn’t think she would ever get over it. Our baby horse was born on our property and we were there, we imprinted her and she was always treated with kindness and love. She has never been hit or treated harshly in anyway, she has only been loved. She finally got better with the help of our little granddaughter.
This takes a lot of training and working with horses doing this, also takes a lot of trust both from horses and owner, especially with only voice or gestures and working with ‘freedom’ horses, no reins, etc. The gentleman riding Roman style also needs a lot of balancing skills for accomplishing such a great event. My hat’s off to him and his horses, awesome……HIGH 5
I love how there’s those moment where one of them is left behind like “ hey guys wait for me!!” And when they cut each other out in the line he does like “ move this is my spot!”

I trained my own q/horses in yrs gone by ( when I was'nt old LOL ) to do basic tricks and I know the bond you have to have to get them to want to do what you want , my brain can't even get around what this man can do with this herd with no gear or restraints what so ever , truly unbelievable .

Horses trained this well lead incredible lives and are extremely well kept and catered to in every way. I would love to be able to hear his vocal cues! And I wonder if he uses Foot Aids! For instance, does he use his toes, or heels to cue the horses he's standing on as well as vocal cues? He's an amazing athlete as well as a super equestrian. Not sure the word equestrian even really encompasses the understanding he has of these animals. You can only imagine that he can't have any life apart from being with them nearly 24/7, from birth to retirement. Uplifted and envious are emotions I feel watching him. He's great. His horses are superb!
I can imagine every time they get loaded up to go to a show they are so excited they just can't wait to go. For a half hour show they don't miss a beat.
I like that each Lusitano still has its own character. You can see that sometimes there is tension in the ranks but they still all work together. These horses have learned how to work together for the common good. It's not only amazing natural horsemanship training at work from the master but also fantastic breeding as well.

@@ClissaT Camarques are the wild breed of the region in southern France of the same name. Lusitano (and their Spanish counterpart, the famout Andalusians) are from the south of Portugal/Spain. They are heavier set, with short backs and powerful necks. Known for their classical dressage, which you may also seen done by the Viennese Lippizan horses of the Spanish Court Riding School.

Arabians - we got one for our daughter, age 12. A big guy - Siri - a Polish Arabian - descendant of the horses Lady Wentworth bred. He was so smart - he listened, he understood, he knew. So, if he felt like jumping, or doing dressage, it was beautiful. If he was not in the mood - forget it. My daughter loved him with all her heart and soul.
I love how he calmly waits to the side to let them finish and enjoy their roll in the sand and then gathers them around him, ready to get to put on a show!

Literally, how to train your dragon (or horse). I saw a similar show Cavalia in US and love to see them showing that horses are smarter than many people think. And all white are gorgeous. Funny to see a few "cheaters" not going over the jump - like people we know! 😹

My arabian stallion loves to show off and be admired. You wouldn't believe the lengths he will go to in order to get attention.
