This makes me cry :((( these people do not derseve to have these beautiful souls in their lives :(( horrible to see them pulling on their heads and yanking and whips :(( Poor beautiful souls, I wish this would stop, they are not show pieces.
You don't understand Arab horses, and their intelligence, pride, breeding or agility nor that they are responsiding to very subtle pulling actually. These are the ballet dancers of the horse world and they absolutely love doing what they are doing.
@@delishme2 I do, I used to help out at an Arabian Stud. The horses there were allowed to be horses. They were never treated in this way. My best friend in the world was an Arabian stallion, he was the sweetest soul and never once was he treated in this manner, or any of the other horses. I would also like to add, the stallion I am talking about was also a National champion, so I have an understanding of showing too. All the horses were only ever treated with kindness and love.
It makes me upset and sad what you wrote. You are viewing them from a human perspective not from their perspective. I could write here for days about what is wrong with all of this but I am not going to, as the internet is an unpleasant place where people can be unpleasant too. I am a peaceful person and I have no wish to argue with anyone.
Lala Cat, I’m sure that white stallion just loves having his mouth ripped out by his handler. The freaking chain was in his mouth, and the guy was yanking very hard even when the horse was just standing there.
Valentino, my God, what did they do to his neck? Stretch it??? Poor horse, how can he function with this weight on his narrow front and steep shoulder?
Where is the horsemanship in this???!!! Poor horses being chased down by an idiot waving a plastic bag, at the same time being yanked by an idiot holding onto their head. What is the point of this, people? If you want to see their natural beauty, watch them in the field , with their herd, and dont interfere.
@@joanacagido7457 Ah no... Arabians usually carry their tails high. They can carry it higher when showing off, but also when they're really stirred up like these poor things are.
Halter horses frequently don't show under saddle, they're just pretty. No, I didn't say ALL, and since this is a senior Male class I'm assuming these are studs used for breeding and hopefully they are also good performance horses. But still, a lot of halter horses only show in halter classes.
@@jefferyschirm4103 I've had 2 Arab mares that I rode and they were great saddle horses. Now mind you, I don't like a horse you have to urge forward at every step, but the Arabs were not too hot to handle. We'd go on day- long trail rides, hills, rivers, sand, forests, thick underbrush, no problem. They had way more endurance than the quarter horses, mustangs, thoroughbreds, Morgan's and all the rest. One of my mares could be goofy at times, but nothing dangerous and would calm right down with reassurance. And they're beautiful. Halter horses are supposed to be animated, and if that's all they ever got to do I could see how they'd be a pain- in-*ss to deal with.
@@jefferyschirm4103 i have a stunning arabian horse and he is sooo good to ride he have a lot stamina , we went to a really long trails with no problem and he is so fun to ride cuz arabians are fast horses , when i first boght him he was si hard to ride and he was scared from everything but after tow months he turnes to a really good horse and he became so calm on trails , in short arabians are the best breed to ride if you know how to handle with them
Because they are in hand showing horses . Lets say if you was playing football and then someone stuck you in the disabled football you wouldn’t like it . Just like these horses they don’t want to be under saddle
If you look closely, most of these poor horses have structural deformities of on their heads from having been yanked so hard all the time. Just sad, nothing beautiful about this whole circus thing :/
Sorry, but no! I have seen quite some. They do have a specific profile /differing and in detail depending on their blood lines/ but not a narrow ridge just at the level where the halter touches the bones. But if you have seen only the show horses, that might explain your opinion
@@efkako8660 Being jerked on does not cause structural changes of the head. I know many other horses, of non-Arab breeds, that get jerked on, and it hasn't affected their head shape. People breed for this trait and sometimes it's just too much. Arabs imported here from the Middle East in the 20's and 30's did not have heads shaped this way. People breed for this head shape, they want a "teacup" muzzle. Well, in the 20's and 30's that meant their lips were soft and gentle enough to drink from a teacup without breaking it. It doesn't have anything to do with muzzle size.
EKS Alihañdro has always stole my heart, and his handler here as well. You're the best Giacomo!! ❤
Why do they make it so eradicated? They run and turn quick jerk the horse confuse the horse it’s stupid. Not pleasant to watch.
Very few get to show off their lovely floaty trot etc except for the handler of the gray
البطولة دي كان فيها أساطير ❤
May I make a suggestion? Don't overlay a music track, just let the natural music and sounds from the arena be heard.
This is the weirdest way to show horses
The grand winner is from Cairo. A robe I've often seen in Egyt. Dark and majestic.

Looks like animal cruelty to me!

It is all about appearances, not function
second arabian is stunning
A beautiful liver chestnut.
Agreed
Pretty well behave for a bunch of stallions

I feel the same way. Sometimes the music detracts the elegance from our deàr Arabians.
What an odd manner to show. All that yanking!? Those poor horses. Has there been any injuries?
Not in the US.
They are so glad to get out of their stalls!
Showing in this way is a real art...
No it is real cruelty. I have shown arabians and never used a whip or yanked the chain --- won supreme exhibit
Why not show them in saddle to prove there fitness to ride and be handled.
