Its really make sense and i like the way you think about hollow ichigo teories. Great video again. And i m hoping that Kubo will show us this form or better version of this form in the hell arc someday. Because we can say that vasto lorde form of ichigo is the best form. Great design. I have been pondering on this for years and been following you for some time. I think you’re right on the mark and I would say that ‘white’ is the ‘perfect’ or ‘absolute’ arrancar. As we see in ichigo’s inner world and if we follow the principals of arrancars as being hollows who have removed their mask. Then white ichigo is literally a hollow who can remove his mask and wield a zanpukto while using Shikai and bankai abilities in coordination with his hollow abilities and powers as well. Thank you so much for articulating what I’ve been trying to explain and work out for so many years. Been a bleach fan since 07 and been thinking about this now and then since 09. Always considered making my own video about it as no one came close to delving through the theories and lore supporting this. You have done it just as I would’ve intended. I take my hat off to you sir!

That's why Horn of Salvation with Bankai makes Ichigo so OP - he's most likely using both Bankai and Resurrección at the same time.
Sidenote: also curious to see if Kubo will give us Segunda Etapa Grimmjow in the Hell Arc.
I mean- he definitely isn’t in Bankai but the HOS carried over INTO Bankai. Which is interesting
@@flameofrebirth101 I do think about Hichigo as a zanpakutou. I mean, he was created by same means as asauchi, but with whole shinigami souls and not just fragments of souls, but he is a zanpakutou now, when Ichigo accepted him as his power and don't try to segregate his shinigami powers and hollow powers - they are the same entity living inside Ichigo soul. So, Ichigo in bankai means hes using only a part of his full power, and he should be able to still hollowify to the stage he was back then while fighting Ulqiora. If you think about it from this angle, hollowification while bankai is more similar to segunda etapa than to resurrection form.
@@flameofrebirth101 what i meant is that i see HoS as almost like Ichigo's Resurrección multiplier he can have on top of his Shikai OR Bankai.
Makes sense, and I too I hope for Grimmjow's Segunda Etapa, especially considering that Kubo stated that he's certainly capable of it.

Really wish we got to see more of White in the series. His personality is already really fun but combine that with the implications of his existence and relationship with Ichigo and he's one of the most compelling character in Bleach.
Your theory definitely lines up pretty well with White’s mature bankai state resembles that of a resurreción. From what I recall, when an arrancar goes into that state, they revert back to their original form (albeit a more humanoid version for some). And with white, he is simply reverting back to his original form from what we saw in the Everything but the Rain arc, but in a now matured state as you pointed out.

Maybe because Ichigo never had full acess to his true Bankai , maybe that's why his first Bankai clad his whole body like an arrancar's resserection.
That will sound crazy too, but technically, this best example that we have about it after ichigo, is shinji itseld in his beyond bankai form in the game Bleach brave souls. where ichigo seems like a Hollow that used a resurrection with a bankai, shinji looks more like a Shinigami in Bankai with a resurrection. and remember, tite kubo is the one that makes the artworks.

Another thing to note: In one of the Bleach data books, it describes ceros as a technique used Menos Grandes and Arrancars. It doesn't say "hollows" in general, but _specifically_ said Menos Grandes and Arrancars. As we know, White has been capable of firing ceros since the time he fought Isshin, which lends credence to him being a Vasto Lorde.
You went right on the money when you classified that form as a bankai and ressureccion.
You weren't however when you tried to liken the previous form to an adjucha and this one as a vasto lorde. The thing is, the bigger, more muscular form is like a ressureccion on top of the bankai, where hollow and shinigami powers are released together but separately. If you haven't noticed, that lizard looking form engulfed Ichigo's mask and cloak. That form is entirely different from the form used to fight Ulquiorra because of the type of release. Ichigo could in theory enter a similar form to the lizard form. The mask would look similar but it'd be bulkier and the reiatsu would be like when Ichigo said he needed to imbalance his power in his fight against Yhwach.
You see a ressureccion is like a hollowfication and this form exerts pure hollow reiatsu (atleast in it's completed state). So when Ichigo 'imbalances' his power, the hollow powers engulf the shinigami power and releases pure hollow reiatsu, this is why the cloak is under the hollow form, but when a bankai is released in equilibrium with the hollow powers, the hollow form wears the bankai.
White isn't a Vasto Lorde, and it can't be considered an arrancar either.
What makes a hollow into an arrancar is breaking off their hollow mask but most people don't know why. The difference between a hollow and a shinigami is that a shinigami underwent a soul burial or is born in a state similar to humans that have passed on. Hollows on the other hand are pluses who never got to pass on, and when their chain of fate encroachment ends, they lose their hearts and it becomes their mask, the 2nd option is turning into a shinigami but they'd need to have that lineage in order for that to be possible and they never do apart from Ichigo. The act of removing this mask is like forcefully reverting them to a natural soul burial state which is the soul composition of a shinigami/human after konso. It's not complete however so while becoming like a shinigami, they're still hollows.
Aizen creates all his subjects like an asauchi, including the ones the vizards got infected by. The difference between White and the other asauchi-like hollows is that it has shinigami as the base which makes it capable of housing the shinigami side of Ichigo's power. It's for that reason why Ichigo could use shikai and bankai with this hollow asauchi. For the vizards and Tousen, they already had a proper shinigami asauchi so they'd be fine using just a completely hollow based asauchi for hollow powers. With training they could later merge the powers. The vizards could in theory enter a form similar to the one Ichigo used against Ulquiorra but that actually requires accepting that power like their own shinigami Zanpakuto. Their method is beating it into submission so that relationship is trash and they can't properly hollowfy
To add more:
A resurrection takes on a form similar to what an Espada was before it gained soul reaper powers. The mask white ichigo has after the Ulquiorra fight looks very much like what he had when he was his own entity, which is before he gained hollow powers. Of course that could just be a coincidence
Now I want to see every Visard's Resurreccion. I also now totally consider Ichigo's Vasto Lorde form to be Zangetsu's Resurreccion/or Hybrid between it and Bankai.
Look up Bleach Brave Souls pictures I know they have one for Shinji.

I’d love to hear you talk about the institutional corruption of the soul society. Kubo gives a lot of hints throughout bleach such as the hunting of the quincies, obviously the killing of the soul king to form the soul society, the clear classist division within the rukongai in comparison to the sereitei, even conversations between Aizen and urahara that show the indoctrination of urahara to this clearly corrupt system and the conversation between byakuya and zomari which points to injustice performed by soul reapers in systematically hunting purely instinctual beasts like hollows.

I always saw the change in white's bankai post Ulquiorra fight was just the result of less restrictions and we were seeing something closer to his actual bankai form. His ressureccion was repressed by old man zangetsu. The Vasto Lorde form is the true version of the hollow mask or maybe even a segunda etapa if you want to stretch the Horn of Salvation to a complete ressureccion. I only mention that theory cause from Ulquiorra it seems segunda etapa is a complete overhaul of your form, which the Vasto Lorde form seemed to be. But I don't have strong belief in it since we only know so little about Ichigo's powers in TYBW as well as segunda etapa.

Ichigo and hikone are the only beings that can use both a bankai and resurrection at the same time and their powers are astronomical when doing so. In the words of Aizen, it is truly fascinating.
I really hope we see ichigo’s resurrection in the future. Hopefully we can also see Hikone in the anime if can’t fear your own world is adapted
ichigo is definitely unique, where other hallow/soul reaper hybrids were modified to take on the opposing essence ichigo's powers all bended and built off each other. for the vizards it's likely stacking a Bankai and Resurrecciónon top of the other isn't easy or effective, i think that's part of why most vizards don't use their Bankai and masks at the same time they don't mesh(most of them) well but ichigo's powers are all meant to work together.
Exactly. Ichigo’s the only one who says “Lemme use my Shikai and busts out a hollow horn”😂 That is fundamentally different from any vizard. He’s built different

I believe Adjuchas is pronounced “Ad-hoo-kas”. The hollow naming scheme is Spanish and that’s what usually happens with the letter “J”. I love the work btw. I have no idea how long I’ve been subscribed but I always look forward to your vids.

So no, it isn't spoken like spanish/mexican. Also Adjuchas is a term from old demonology/angelology that means "Genius of Rocks".

@@jeminem619 yup pretty much, japanese transliterations usually use the way the word is pronounced instead of its actual spelling so you'll know if a word is meant to be of certain language if they use the same phonetics like the example you gave.
This was a nice way to defend the term "Vasto Lorde Ichigo" for that form which some seem to be against for some reason.
Some things:
White as a Hollow first doesn't necessarily need a Hollow Hole to be incomplete, if the goal is being a hybrid "without barriers" if anything I'd say what fills his whole is a sign of what sets him apart.
All of these beings were technically created by the Hogyoku. This would include Kisuke, as he technically tampered with White by tampering with Isshin and Masaki. We didn't see certain steps of Kisuke's solution but I'm almost sure it involved the Hogyoku or similar concepts. Not to mention some unknown mutations if not evolution happened in between Ichigo being born. Similar to real evolution.
As because of the above Arrancar are man made. They're given Soul Reaper aspects and appear "humanoid." Ressurection doesn't exist naturally to Hollows. It's only a gained ability due to Aizen's "treatment."
As you pointed out similar to Old Man Zangetsu changing form when Ichigo is in Bankai White as well likely changes when Ichigo is Masked. If not just being the same form we saw during Dangai. Note he still doesn't have a Hollow Hole even though he's supposed to mirror the Vasto Lorde form exactly. Ichigo's "Hole" existing on his real self or "outside" probably has some purposeful significance by Kubo we haven't picked up on.
I'm not really adding anything or know what this means. Likely due to my current state where I struggle to think anymore. Maybe you or another can further something with these observations though.

Something else I just realized is that White is never hollowified when he fights/trains Ichigo. He used banki without a hollow mask he stays looking like a soul reaper. So I do wonder what makes it different after the Vasto lord form because that's the only time Ichigo sees White with a hollow mask
A simple explanation would be that since White is a hollow he doesn't "need" to hollowify but even when Ichigo sees him in the Vasto lord form. White takes the mask off like he's a vizard

Tensa calls out that the form that white is in is the form that beat ulquiorra and the form ichigo is so afraid of that he became unable to properly do hollowfication, so I would guess that the normal white is basically the exact same as the calling a mask out aka that is the form of zangetsu
Since he does call out that ichigo bankai is not zangetsu he is(the shikai is zangetsu though) and how Tensa also goes I am not zangetsu, I am Tensa Zangetsu.
So Tensa Zangetsu( or whatever the name of that hollow form is since possibly a different name like tosen(who I would shinigami and hollow powers were once and the same since he used his shinigami zanpacktou and called out a form of Suzumushi) and the whole fullbring a hollow based power naturally merges with shinigami powers if you have both), Which means in short that while White did use bankai against ichigo, White himself did not change with it while the blade he used went form being zangetsu to being Tensa zangetsu, he on the other hand did not and remained just zangetsu
Maybe it is due to the fact that the bankai and resurrection are separate during that time,so he has to use both at the same time to have the Vasto Lorde look
I mean to add to this Tensa does call out that oh yeah you have never seen this form in person, this is the form you beat Ulquiorra in and the form you were afraid of because your destructive urges overwhelmed your heart and reason and so you also became unable to do hollowfication, to add to this that means the merged form that ichigo fights in the dangai is at least on the same level as vasto lord ichigo since it is that form mixed with the form of tensa zangetsu.
Like if it was the same thing as bankai they would have said so they were never say about calling out the difference between bankai and shikai(White straight up says that ichigo bankia is not zangetsu while his shikai is) though he after he went bankai he is still just zangetsu which is the only thing that might imply that is his bankai form unless unlike the old man he is one with he doesn’t change with bankai, like they both say originally they were one being, they were ichigo power as in white merged not just with his soul reaper powers but with his Quincy powers as well aka why most of the time we see them they are merged in one like after the zaraki fight where white merges back into the old man(aka he goes back to where he was). Which is kind of how his powers feel you don’t feel the Quincy or hollow powers until he starts to use them just shingami
We do know azien was making arrancar before he got the hogoyu since that is what the privion espada were at least the one ichigo fought an arrancar from before azien started to use the plot rock to make arrancar.
I would say ichigo is the closest to using bankai and resurrection together followed by tosen and then the rest of the vizard(could see tosen ahead of ichigo), due to ichigo having become then accepting of his power in full so he would have an easier time calling on both flavours of his power, since pretty sure all there power is mixed as one thing based on the whole hollow based fullbring and soul reaper powers naturally merge together(and the whole tosen resurrection follows the naming sense of his shingami powers and is a form of suzuambusi ), depending what horn of salvation counts as he might have already done that

Thing is his quincy power was holding Ichigo's Shinigami power back but once Ichigo starts getting stronger than his Quincy power isnt able to do that anymore because Ichigo's power had risen cause he chose the path of a Soul Reaper and his Shinigami and Hollow Powers are one so thats why his version is so different in comparison to the other Arrancar. It only made sense for him to look like that and still used a Zanpakuto but be able to cast a Cero. He basically used Resurrection and Bankai at da same time but ehats even more crazy is how powerful this form is and many do not get it. This form was so strong its powers travelled through dimensions and effected an entire separate dimension when he was killin Ulquiorra and FGT didnt even do that while be stated to be a supreme being entity. Vasto Lorde form effected the hell dimension from Hueco Mundo which is a entirely separate location and dimension. This form of Ichigo is 1 of his strongest ever in the series besides TYBW Arc and would kill all the Captain's, Vizards, Fullbringers, Espada and Quincy's😪

If the resurrection is the hollow equivalent of a bankai then Ulquiorra's second form might not have necessarily be based on his hollow powers but is an actual Bankai from his soul reaper side?

Jeez I JUST noticed 2 things.
1st. The OG "White" is *COVERD* is in black armor,But I believe it's White used his reiatsu to cover him similar to how ichgo Ban Kai works.
2. I believe kubo told us Ichigo's *TRUE* ban kai Technique is to evolve, get smarter and stronger.

From Niimaya's statement about how Aizen created White, White has been Ichigo's asauchi from the very beginning. When Rukia made Ichigo into a shinigami, his shinigami powers took a part of his soul that could help him shape his shinigami powers, and that is White since he is created from the souls of dead shinigami. During this time, Ichigo's shinigami power, Zangetsu and White is NOT the same. With every fight Ichigo takes, Ichigo learns how to use his shinigami powers, as well as his asauchi White who has been extracting it for him until his Zanpakuto matures in his first fight against a menos. During this fight he was able to unleash his own reiatsu, instead of Rukia's to scare away a menos. Urahara comments on this as the first time Ichigo used the power of his zanpakuto. At this point Zangetsu takes the form as to how White Ichigo looks in Ichigo's inner world with white color theme as he is formed using the hollow White. Note that this Zangetsu(White Ichigo) is only Ichigo's shinigami powers, Zangetsu. During the arrancar arc, Ichigo having little time to master his bankai is nowhere near the level of the espada, which is why White, his asauchi, has been trying to possess him to fight for him as who better to wield Ichigo's shinigami power other than Ichigo, is his asauchi, White. In order for Ichigo to quickly draw out most of his shinigami power, Zangetsu, he uses hollow mask to sync with White. The progress is indicated in the growing mark in his hollow mask. The hollow mask signifies the power he inherited from his mom, in his right side is the quincy, his left side is the hollow, and the mark is his shinigami powers slowly occupying the hollow side. During his fight with Ulqiuorra, the right side is almost fully black with no hint of progressing. Ichigo's momentary death and will to protect is the catalyst to fully fuse White and Zangetsu evolving into the masked Zangetsu, shinigami and hollow powers, we see in his inner world as he tries to learn FGT. At this time Ichigo's power trancends between both shinigami and hollow just like Aizen fused with the Hogyoku. Which is why he can sense Aizen's reiatsu as they are in the same dimension of power. Isshin realizes that Ichigo has completed his zanpakuto, Zangetsu making it possible for Ichigo to learn FGT.
A doubt I have s, we know the zampakuto soul is a fragment of the shinigame soul so when a arracar\vizard are created did this fragment become part hollow or it is a diferent fragment, because Kubo said that is possible to use ressurection and bankai at the same time, so they need to be diferent fragments otherwise they will be activated at the sametime.

pretty cool theory i think, but we've actually never seen white use bankai. If you remember old man zangetsu was actually his quincy powers. So whenever he said bankai
that was just him using his quincy powers. His actual bankai was the one at the end of the Manga. with the horn of salvation.
In the light novels its confirmed Vasto Lorde Ichigo at only half power is stronger than the entire espada combined and on the level of Cien
Funny someone just the other day argued that cien dwarfed Vasto Lorde ichigo based on what we see in SAFWY. Of course I argued otherwise with feats we see in both the source material and the LNs and compared them as well as I could with other characters since the only reference we really have would be the entire fight between Ichigo and ulquiorra in comparing Ichigo to other characters because at that time uryu and orihime don't mean anything and I don't think they ever compare Ichigo or anyone else to Vasto Lorde/ segunda etapa ulquiorra. That entire fight is basically in a vacuum by itself.
But of course they basically said "nuh uh" Vasto Lorde ichigo is top 10 strongest characters and Ulquiorra is probably top 15

A consistent argument can be made that the Vasto Lorde/White Ichigo during the fight with Ulqiuorra is transcendent. Uryu describes Ulqiuorra’s spiritual pressure as “alien,” but he can still sense it. All the other characters in Los Noches react when Ulqiuorra transforms and when he dies, but none of them even sense VL Ichigo. And that’s all with less than half his shihakusho, so less than half his full power. The fully powered Vasto Lorde Ichigo is meant to be in the same realm of power as base Aizen.
@@jamesw7098 appreciate the attempted help but gotta disagree on a few things.
1. After the fight is done we see the group fighting Yammy react to the "sinister reiatsu" disappearing. Now whether or not the specifically refers to Ulquiorras or both of them together idk.
2. The whole "if your reiatsu is strong enough people can't even sense it" thing is so inconsistent. Aizen preattles on about it and how captain level characters can't sense it but then when dangai ichigo comes out and all his little human friends are their, tatsuki remarks that she senses the pressure from aizen but can't sense anything from ichigo. So either tatsuki is just a secret super strong character or Kubo just couldn't keep that shit straight. Honestly Kubo seems to have not been able to keep things very straight in that entire part of the story as well as just threw in things that we never see in the series again. Like the whole "strong enough reiatsu can cancel out abilties". Always wrote it off as Kubo hyping Aizen and leaning into aizens god complex.
3. Vasto Lorde ichigo is easily above base Aizen (at least in the arrancar arc) really the biggest thing aizen has at that point in base is Kyokasuigetsu. And since this Vasto Lorde Ichigo seems to go purely off instinct I think he could get around kyokasuigetsu. i would even argue that he reaches up to monster aizen that we see get hit by mugestu. Hell had aizen not only created an arrancar specifically to seal Yamamoto's zanpakuto/flames and/or had Yamamoto used bankai the fight would have been over then and there. Yamamoto would have beaten Aizen.

Oh also theres one more thing, Aizen wasn't only making the adjuchas evolve into vasto lorde, he also found a way to create artificial vasto lorde(e.g. the creation of Wonderweiss) and even turn them into an infectious "disease" effectively managing to weaponize the hollow state of a soul. Aizens a foking genius, a really evil genius but a genius nonetheless, what's even more impressive is that Urahara's above Aizens intellect, very frightening.

White basically skipped to the adjuchas stage, rather than a single soul, weak human becoming a normal hollow, Aizen manually made an adjuchas with already strong souls.
Since white is bound to Ichigo's power so he's free from the chain of consuming hollows and powers up with Ichigo, you can really feel his progression through the markings.
He wouldn't be vasto-lord level at the time he fights Isshin or the vizards, because the first many instances of hollow Ichigo, as well as "full hollow Ichigo" only seem to equate to adjuchas.
When ichigo finally "dies" Either it causes a fundamental shift in whites power, finally breaking the barrier to becoming a vasto-lord, or that's his resurrection of some sort, where white gets almost full unrestricted control.

1 don't forget too that not only hichigo looks different but the old man also looks younger that's why when he calls him ossan ichigo is confused because he doesn't look old.
2 isn't it strange for a hollow to wear a hollow mask, which he didn't have before?, and if you say resurrection is a hollow ability that's not quite right, if you say cero is probably right, it would be more correct if you said resurrection is an arrancar ability because of menos grande /gilians cannot use resurrection.
The 3 white hollows that Aizen made don't need to go through the hollowfication period because in truth he is hollow, because hollowfication is a process where something that isn't hollow (shinigami, bankai, quincy, or human) becomes hollow, so it's impossible for hollowfication to be done on hollows, and fyi all vizard does not have a hollow hole.
The 4 things that allow Aizen's white to be made of several shinigami are the same things that fill white's hollow holes and that's also the reason he has a technique like a shinigami, because the thing that is put in that hole is part of the shinigami whether it's his heart/soul.
for the last point I am still not sure about the name of the zanpakuto spirit, the shape of the zanpakuto, the form of the zanpakuto ichigo, and for the fact whether the zangetsu is white or old man, in my opinion both of them are zangetsu as nimaya said "those zangetsu" and "they both were real" which means they both are zangetsu

Don't forget that a shinigame is a human soul transformed like hollows are human souls transformed, so white is created by transforming souls 2 times, first human to shinigame and after from shinigame from hollow.
Starkk and Ulqiorra were already arrancar before meeting Aizen. It's also possible Barragan and Harribel were too. Ulquiorra also wasn't the strongest espada. 1st Resurrection is actually akin to shikai as kubo confirmed all the espada can use 2nd release which would be bankai.

Hallibel would compete with Ulquiorra if she got segunda etapa, and Starkk would be even more busted. The only thing is: no one, except Ulquiorra has shown the feats that are considerable. Hallibel isn’t destructive type either. In a clear fight Ulquiorra would mop the floor with anyone, except Barragan and Starkk, IF and only IF they achieved segunda etapa…which they didn’t cause they’re dead.
To this day forth Ulquiorra stands as the pinnacle of espada, until Szayelaporro returns from hell…and even then it’s debatable.

When Ichigo absorbed Rukia's shinigami powers he mere borrowed them, and after he lost that borrowed power to Byakuya. I think White truly activated when Ichigo's soul chain began to erode and trigger hollowfication in Urahara's training basement. Right before completely hollowfying Ichigo awaked his personal shinigami powers, therefore in that moment White mixed with the shinigami powers.

And yeah thats true! He lost it and Rukia regained her powers but then Urahara gave him the badge to leave his body and by that time his powers were there but originally unable to be activated since he’s human so he had to push his soul out and use it everytime we just dont see him do it as much now.

Ichigo has shinigami powers (inherited from his dad) along with hollow and quincy powers (inherited from his mom). During Ichigo's training with the Vizards, White says that originaly him and old man Zangetsu were one being (fused together), hence when Ichigo was born he had hollow and quincy powers separate from shinigami. And going back to when Ichigo began to hollowfy in Urahara's basement he awakened his shinigami powers at that very moment and appeared with shinigami shihakusho and a hollow mask (White fused with his shinigami powers).
That means at that point he's as strong as the soul King himself which means at that point Ichigo transformed into a war god

Crazy idea, but it make sense, it makes a lot of sense... But it makes you wonder one thing, it's the horn of Salvation just a hollowfication, or is it Ichigo entering Resurreccion, because it could be the latter, it would make sense with White's nature... But we don't know really.
It’s not a resurrection but kubo has stated he and the other vizards are capable of learning it just like tosen. Really hope we see that in the hell arc
