This is her 1st time singing since her near death experience- she had a rib removed & yall give credit where it's due. She killed it & me. Then brought me back to life. She was extra to show she's BACK
All of you guys are on her case but please remember she just got both her ribs removed has had both blood vessels in her throat popped and she still came back and slayed if you don't like her then don't watch her videos 🙄🙄

My girl Tamie can sang her blank off! Sometimes I think Tamie gets nervous and she holds back. I know nothing about music so this is my opinion. In one of the BFV episodes when her, Trina, & Traci were singing "The Boss", well rehearsing right before Traci sang her high note Tamar belted out her part, the chorus she was relaxed and in full voice. On THE REAL when all of them sang I think she sang really well on the show. She need to stop holding back if that's what she's doing b/c of being nerve skited as she says. LOL

I love, love The Tamar Braxton and I would say she did over sing some parts, but it was a good performance overall.

No. I truly believe Tamar is one of the best vocalist of this generation she is definitely on her way to be next to all the greats. But I agree with the people saying she was alittle extra here. Her riffs were nice but she really added too much upper belts and I know that Tamar is a soprano and that's where she comfortable but her so was Mariah, Celine and Aretha and they new when it was right to use the upper belt and when to just let their tone take control. And her breath support was kinda off as well when she was doing those head voice transitions at the end as well.

Tamar can SANG...but she is soooooo DRAMATIC. I can not watch her dramatics all the time when she sings, but I enjoy listening to hearing her sing...but not so much WATCHING HER SING with ALL of her DRAMATICS...

Tamar Braxton FRUSTRATES me. let me tell you why.... i can't tell if i REALLY love the way she sings, or I REALLY hate it. evrytime she sings live i don't know whether she killed it -_- or killed it ;). First off its like her runs are sloppy... but on point at the same time. anyone else feel like that? like she hits the notes... but they dont seem clean enough, even though theyre hit perfectly in the scale. :/ then i can't tell if her technique is adequate or not, her mix might be even... but her voice is ALWAYS contricted, always lacks vibrato but then cant slip in a F#5, G5 or G#5 as easily as breathing. next her damn FACIAL EXPRESSIONS..... is she really feeling it ... or is she acting like a disoreiented drunk??? also 2:32 was so unnecessary but were the cleanest runs in the showcase. always 50/50 wit her. anyone else feel like this? irregardless, no one can deny her natural talent and her gifted voice.

+Clint Easton Tamar's voice is an acquired taste. You either love it...or don't love it. Same can be said for singers like Cher and Christina Aguilera. There are some technical things that Tamar needs to master, but other than that I love her voice and her ability to effortlessly emote. She also can't help that she sounds like Toni. That's the Braxton sound

I wish Tamar would learn to open her throat more. What soprano sounds constricted on notes as low as A4? And, I can't hear her G#3. At least she's consistent live. I would commend her on her D5, F5, and G#5 belts, but she's supposed to have ease up there.

Tamar gets really nervous when she sings live, and its obvious. When she sings on BFV or TaV you can definitely hear much smoother and controlled vocals from her. Or when shes on tour she gets more comfortable as the days go by. She just needs to get back to training her voice. Her technique used to be so good, but with aging and touring and stuff her boice some what declined.
