I get that the store name "Skin Garden" is probably like a beauty store selling Korean skincare. But it really sounds like the title of a bad horror movie 😆
their sales motto is "It rubs the lotion on its skin..."
Gentlemanly Satoshi sincerely apologizing to his food: "I'm sorry, cute rabbit...I will destroy you." 😊😂
You two are so enthusiastic and descriptive, you always make watching someone eat fun! Korean food is yummy. My favorite was the chibimaki. Thank you, as always, for taking us along.
Btw, did you get to attend Tokyo Rainbow Pride in April? Someday, I'd love to see a TabiEats video on a Japanese Pride celebration, if that's possible. Doesn't matter to me in which city. 🏳🌈👍
The production is getting better and better, good job Shinichi. If you could make a video on all-fish street food I will appreciate that. Greetings from Venezuela.
I have only tried bugolgi and pork belly. Love both. I also tried kimchi for the first time and want to put it on everything.
Ttebokki is next on my list
Thank you for bringing us to a new neighbourhood that no other YT Japan vlogger has brought us to see.
Loving your videos. Take care and don’t overdo it there is always another day ❤️
I’m going in a couple of weeks and I’m glad you featured some lighter options!
Aloha 🌺 Shinichi & Satoshi! Love Korean food! Thank you! 🥰
The tangsuyuk looks delicious!!! And though not in this video but I still remember the honey sweets. For me that is the memory of Koreatown.
Awesome a food tour love this kind of video Korea food love it thanks again stay safe and take care 😘❤️👍🥰🤩😍😘
Wow, the waffle thingy with the strawberries and whipped cream and Nutella! So yummmmm! And the potato-rella dog with all the potato chunks and the hot mozzarella, honey mustard, and ketchup. Looks so ono! Those are the cutest macarons I've ever seen! I feel sorry for anyone who watches this video while hungry! Thanks for showing us this amazing street food! 😋
Thank you for sharing. Please take care of yourselves and be safe.
Thank you for sharing Korean food in Japan and love your review
I really enjoyed Shinichi's enthusiasm for Korean street food. It really made me wish to try them all! 🤤
Shin okube is where we stayed while we were in Tokyo a couple of years ago was a lovely place to stay.
I don't know if I can finish this video, the food so far looks so yummy!! I recently discovered a Korean market and have bought many snacks and food items there. Thanks again for sharing your food tour, take care and stay safe!
What an incredible Korea town!! The magnitude of shops was mind-boggling and the food choices were perfect - Yummy!!
I would like to try the cheese tteokbokki and Oden
All I can do is drool 🤤🤤😊👍🏾👍🏾 fun video as always!
Satoshi, I love your hat it's so cute!
Everything looked so good. There's a Korean restaurant right by my work and I'm making my way through the menu. It's so good!😋
I really wasn't planning to go to Korea town on my trip to Japan, but you and Drew have convinced me to squeeze it into my travel plans.
Oh yummy Koreatown! I like the Korean sushi here in Hawaii too! Looks so good Shinichi and Satoshi!!! All the desserts look yummy too! The sweet sour pork looked so good! Thanks for all your hardwork on all the yummy food reviews!❤️😁🤙🏽
P.S. I just bought oden broth mix at the Asian market...as well as some fish cakes and daikon radish. I’m excited to make it for myself and my son. I also picked up mabo tofu sauce mix (mild)....I know that Sinichi likes mabo tofu, so I had to share my excitement with you. ✌🏻💕😊
Loved the video. The kinbab and Tteokbokki looked delicious also the Eomuk 😋👍
Used to live in Shin-Okubo many years ago. Seeing this video brings back many fond memories. The Korean bbq restaurants in this place are sooo good! 😋
Waking up to a new street food video is the best.
Yum korean food 🤤, I haven't had chinese korean sweet and sour pork before. I have tried their black bean sauce noodles 🍜.
Best episode yet, nice one guys. So envious I'm not able to eat with both of you.
this made my mouth water! very good video! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Yes it is a fishcake served with broth, in Korea this is called Odeng. Actually it comes from Oden but it is only fishcakes and not like the Japanese dish with its hugh variety of components. The food was semi-authentic and of course more expensive than in South Korea (at least the stalls). Very amazing vlog and tour. 🥰
Yes, please do more Korea town adventures! Loved this video
mmmm! i'm craving korean food now. i wish cheap street foods were a thing in the United States. can't wait until i can travel to asia again :)
I never realized how common cheese was in Koreanstreet food, and those Macaroons were so cute.
Very cheese heavy.
Guys, thank you for showing us all the foods available in Korea town!! In California, we have a large Korea town in Los Angeles, but noting in northern California I can think of. Korean food is great!
Aloha to both of you mahalo for all updated on your videos food looks so Ono can't wait to go to Japan and go see all beautiful places and food
A good mix of fresh air, exercise, and good food. Definitely starting to feel like summer ☀️ ❤️🔥
That looked like such a fun time.
Interesting combination corn peanut butter in a waffle it definitely needs bacon added. But the potato corn dog looks so yummy 😋 I would love to try these when visiting Japan .
Tteokbokki is sooo good! I also love it with cheese on top!
You guys are adorable!
It's been awhile since I've tuned in. Satoshi's english is much better!
Wow! That looked so yummy!!! Will definitely visit Koreatown when we go back someday. It would be cool to see you guys make a trip to Korea someday when things open up again!
Here in Australia the only association I have with Midori is the Suntory melon liqueur, and I would happily have many Midori moments.
I enjoyed the video, gentlemen. Thank you
Great thumbnail. Makes the food looks INCREDIBLE! I wish we had something so amazing were I live......(Texas)
Satoshi, since I started following this channel a couple of years ago, I have realised your English has really improved! Well done! 😜👍🇦🇺
aw I use to study in Shin ookubo. so nice to see this video. I miss it alot now ^^
You guys are 👍 😎 great.
Love this vlog of Korean foods! Miss Japan so much! Thanks guys!
thank you.
Be safe recently portland oregon had covid so be safe..
I want those Macaron .... yummy.
I remember a few years ago when (i think) 7-11 had those Macaron Icecream in different flavours .... loved it so much especially the pistacio one.
Yes I love it around there!!! So many great eats around!!!! Nice vid guys!!!👍🏻✌🏻
Been trying to eat those hotdogs for awhile now, but the line at the Ala Moana food court is always so long! Thanks for sharing your day.
Does Shijang hattogu have any relation to Shijang Dak-Galbi? It's the place with the cheese fondue hot pots. Try it out!!
All the food looks really yummy. Definitely on the list of places to try to visit. If you find out what day is the least crowded, let us know! 😉
👍👍👍👍👍👍 love love love you guys
Love Korean food!!!
Love Shin-Okubo, want to go back to get stuff to be able to cook Korean food at home at the grocery stores; but I think the biggest KoreaTown is in Osaka
interesting koreatown i love kimbap too its so tasty and the dishes you tried was so yummy looking. i wish there were street food here in hawaii. we now have a lot of food truck fairs lot of diff foods but i wish there were smaller portions so we could try more things
missing Japan even more now guys. Great video thanks for sharing
I love seeing what's the same and what's different about specific cuisines in other countries! At least where I live, It's hard to find the modern street food. It was interesting to me that the sweet and sour pork was nearly identical to what I see here in America. I really appreciate your videos like these where y'all explore a neighborhood like this Koreatown or the Chinatown in Nagasaki on Shinichi's channel.
Hahah I love that brief “sakutto” zoom in
Excellent cheese pull Satoshi! I’ve been wanting to try the Korean hotdogs, this made me want one even more. I’ve always thought Topokki looked good, but I can’t tolerate spicy 🌶...however, I may be able to tolerate it with the cheese. I’m going to have to make some now. ✌🏻💕😊
oh man. ever since i learned of its existence, ive wanted to try the kogo dog. looks so yummy.
I love how Satoshi says I will save this for Shinichi then he lets Shinichi have it all
Loved this! Please go back for another vid to try the other items you wanted!😋
Oh and maybe in future you could visit/make videos on: a Peruvian restaurant in Shibuya called Miraflores; visits to vegan/vegetarian locations; a new Ramentour with new developments, a recent picnic video with latest konbini spring food, what you eat in a day at the moment. 👍😆 sorry I just had to mention these, take good good care. Regards
When are you guys going to film the Yatai ? The weather is getting warmer! Hope you can get to it !
Can you try to make the potato cheese hot dog it looked delicious
Okay but why is “I’m sorry, cute rabbit, I will destroy you” so endearing?
I love korean fish cake too omg
Oh Id love to go!! I wish we had a Koreatown here!
A shop full of Wonho-Macaron, guess i gotta visit now 😂
Satoshi is like me. I don’t like crowds lol.
Shinichi, I noticed that you pronounce it New-tella, but here in Australia, we all know it’s made from hazelnuts so we say Nut-tella. 😜🇦🇺
Yummy!!!❤️😍❤️
Shin Okubo is also a great area for nightlife now.
Hello Shinchi and Satoshi
When you ate the Tteokbokki can you buy a mild flavor instead of Spicy.
I cant handle anything Mildly Spicy.
I want to try some. Do you have any ideas? I love watching you eating Japanese foods I know I love Japanese curry. Specially curry pan also I love melon pan.and melon soda. More videos please.
Oh I love to try Korean BBQ and Korean Fried Chicken. Also Japanese fried Chicken.
Dont think you can get it less spicy Tteobokki. Its usually already made ahead of time. There is tteobokki more sweet n little spicy. But there is tteobokki made with soy sauce, I think it's hard to find its made for kids. You can make the non spicy soy sauce tteobokki at home its pretty easy n tasty.
@@Js_Son83 thank you for replying. I appreciate it. I can't handle even a little spicy so I'll have to stay away from it. Bad news I've alway wanted to know what it taste like. Oh well can't be helped. Thank uou again. Happy New Year 2023
“I’m sorry cute rabbit, I will destroy you.” 🐰😈😋 Best quote, ever!
野方に韓国食品のスーパー出来てから新大久保には久しく行ってないなぁ😃💦
近いうちに行ってみようかな😀
私は【塩田屋】と【ソウル市場】と【韓国広場】には必ず行きます😀
Could you put the Google map links going forward? I’m going crazy trying to find the tangsuyuk place!
You guys are 👍😎 and very 🆒
I miss Justin. 🐕❤️
Oh my god, you guys made me miss Japan so bad. Thank you for another great video!
Would like to know the similarities and differences between the gimbap and sushi
A notable difference is that Gimbap utilizes rice which is seasoned with sesame oil, while Sushi rice contains vinegar.
"Shinichi allowed me to have a bite from this one..." Sus, Satoshi, very sus.
Mahalo 🌺
now do those korean hot dogs use a fish sausage or is it more like an american hot dog?
❤️
So much cheese. Before watching you guys, I didn't think it was that prominent in Japan. As someone who is allergic to cheese (all kinds, all methods of preparation), I'll have to be careful.
Damn, all we have is hot dogs.
Doghuuh!
👍 👏 👌
Are they Korean or people who called themselves Goryo. I watched a documentary video where there's a pocket of ethnic Korean in Japan, southern Japan if I remember it correctly. However they won't say themselves as Korean but people of Goryo, and they are Japanese citizens. Just want to ask.
Wait was it sweet and sour pork or chicken??? hehehe
Really wish my girlfriend and I could watch your videos but we have misophonia and can't stand the slopping and slapping when you eat plus talking with your mouth full :( If you could edit those noises out (really easy to do in post), I feel your content could be accessed by foodies like us. Otherwise, quality content and wish you continued success :)
Hey Shinichi! You might want to look at Maangchi and Aeri's Kitchen here on You Tube for Tangsuyuk recipes. 😀
