I was a Air Force veteran stationed at Korat Royal Thai AFB from January 1966 to December and after 5 years was granted a claim because of exposure to Herbicides. I had Ischemic Heart disease and had a 5 bypass surgery in 2013 April. Even after being granted I have also been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Even now at age 75 the VA is testing me for Leukemia and possible Myeloma because I have a high white blood cell count. I have also been diagnosed with Hypothyroidism and even though It has not been diagnosed yet I know I have peripheral neuropathy. I just want to admonish all my brother veterans to not give up your fight and ignore the denials and keep on fighting the good fight. God knows your plight and you will win in the end. God bless you and keep you safe.
Jerry Robinson
U.S Air Force 1963- 1971
Vietnam Veteran 1966
I was at Korat 1969-71
Have ischemic heart disease lost one third of my heart filed for benefits in 2011 but was denied and after a lot of research and helped from fellow airmen who were stationed there also I was finally approved benefits but at the same time every time I went to DAV they say no no no you didn't have your foot on the ground but I pursued and I followed up and finally was granted benefits please let others know Delaware station in Thailand
Hi Jerry, i was korat 1972-73. worked on f105g wild weasls. armed missles at the end of runways and recovery. spent 359 days living in Adirmen and nco hootches near the premiter. i have type 2 diabetes, hypertension, hypothyroid. i am in the process of applying for disablity. hopefully wont have a problems. just cant be sure. give me hope.
Thank you for your service and sacrifice. My now-deceased husband was at Udorn, Thailand, AFB, from 1974-1975, as well as other mainland air force bases who were later deemed superfund sites. He died of diffuse gastric cancer in 2001 after a valiant fight. There is no other cancer in his family. None. However, his cancer type is not considered presumptive, but even the NASEM has no cause other than H. pylori and CDH1 gene mutation, for which he was negative. I thought the benefit of the doubt went to the veteran, but apparently not?? After four years of denials, appeals, and more denials, I finally retained an attorney who has settled cases with the V.A. for gastric cancer. Everyone from the Vietnam Era who has or had this cancer more than likely needs to retain an attorney. I wish you all the best with your health challenges, Jerry, as well as all other veterans. Thanks for sharing your story. Freedom is not free.
I had boots on the ground in Thailand utopia and swam in the golf of siame
if you look at the maps for agent orange over spray. several water wells were located in the sprayed area. not only were we slept but also drank the water.
We drank the water from streams in the jungle. I know I was exposed. Recon teams of two six-man units that worked off and around fire bases.
I was in the army station in Texas at ft hood
I got out in1979 Oct and the gave me the run around and gave me a wishes washy rating
Forgot about Panama where Agent Orange was used. HR21? was submitted to add it.
What about veterans who served in Korea during the 60's and 70's where agent orange was also used in the 2nd Division. I developed Leukemia and was refused.
I was boots on the ground 65. Thru 67. I have been injecting insulin from agent orange since 1999
I'm a 100 % total and permanent July 1st it will be 10 years
Hi, what about fort mcclellan chemicals?
I understand that many claim the medical establishment did not have the clinical knowledge or practice experience to diagnose, treat or even knowledge to recognize the symptoms of Peripheral Neuropathy in the late 1960’s, early 70’s which the presumptive period would cover let alone at the 10% disabling level. So much for the early-onset rule. What say you?
My brother in law who served in the air force in VN has Prostate Cancer was turned down at his local office because he was treated and didnt have active Cancer. What are his chances of getting help?
I served with Air Force ( Air Freight- load and unload airplanes- everything from dead bodies to food, including agent orange drums) in Vietnam 66-67 & 68. I need help with my claim , no disability rating from agent orange. I have many symptoms from this. Was turned down. I’m 76 hope to get something before I die. HELP
What about the veterans that were stationed in Johnston Atoll, the AO went there for storage and destruction?
I was never stationed overseas or near any of the mentioned areas. However, I worked on the F-111 Aardvark at Nellis AFB from 1974 - 1976 as a Structural Specialist. I worked on the pylons, landing gear, cockpit, engine, warheads, and all structural areas of the aircraft. I lost 1/3 of my right lung and have spotting on my left lung. Have anything changed that would includes just working on the F-lll during the Vietnam War era?
Have you researched online about this? Maybe contact a VSO, Veterans Service Officer, or talk to an attorney.
F-111's were first based at Takhli AB in Thailand which was sprayed with AO. All bases in Thailand and VN were sprayed so wherever the F-111's were sent during the war they had traced of AO.
I new a three star general who drop or spread in the foliage in camp Lejeune fo range clearing for weapons you should investigate this it might help more marines I have diabetes and no one in my family I was in Lejeune the year of 69 they also used it in California, and Okinawa you should look it up
I was diagnosed with diabetes in 2019 with I was in South Korea 1968-1969 and never received a rating
You have to have served with certain units in a certain area. Just because you were in South Korea does not meet all the requirements.
My grandfather passed from conditions via agent orange...
I srewed up my neck and got a 20% from that but 50 yrs after i put in s claim and my job was cbs and every day exchanged filters in the mask that was sent the US and reaching into a box with are bare hands and have nephropathy and acne 1978 in Germany could you help me make a claim
I was a Warrant Officer Helicopter Pilot in
Vietnam in '69 and '70 and sprayed agent orange from my aircraft on two missions. Nasty stuff. It took us hours to clean it off the aircraft. I have a heart condition... would this be a presumptive qualification?
If it's on the list, yes! And your med. records reflect that. I have hypertension from AO and awarded 10 % ,but VA calculator says 4%, which translates to zero comp.
What about us vets who served in other theaters that stored and tested these chemicals?
does H&R deteriorate ligaments
I'm a Viet Vet, my daughter died from MS, any connection?
I was security police in Thailand uatopoa
They forced me to take ability Thorazine against my will please please please help
I was stationed at Camp Market South Korea, where they stored Agent Orange, 80-81 and my Son was born there and had yellow jaundice...how long after it was removed from a location can it affect a person?
AO doesn't leave the body. Once you have been exposed, it is there for life.
Deny,Deny until they Die. The song of the DOD.I was in the Air Force on C130s 1969 and 1970 Stationed at Naha
Okinawa and TDY Vietnam . Okinawa is where they stored agent orange. So I was getting it from both sides. Yes I was Denied.
Please keep fighting and consider retaining an attorney.
Question isn’t in your medical records we’re you were station in South Korea 1968-1969
my boots were on the ground in 1968 at bien hoa long bin and saigon so far i have not gotten sick. they would fly over and dump these chemicals on us. was like misting rain.
My husband was there at the same time you were. He was diagnosed with ischemic heart disease from AG... he died 5 years ago.
Sorry for your loss.
What about children conceived and born right after the veteran served,?
I would like to know this as well. One son has heart condition, the other has scoliosis. Also concerns for my grandson. Who do we contact?
I was denied any assistance back when my daughter was born with disabilities, my ex-wife and suspected Agent Orange. I was denied because I didn't work directly with it. I knew we slept in it at Xuan Loc. I just discovered we were storing the shit in a warehouse I worked in Long Bien, I have my heart cauterized 4 times, one heart attack' Can I apply again?
I would!
What about those that served in Thailand?
I too was stationed in Thailand 69-71
But after much research and help from others I won
But lost 1/3 of heart and chf
If I may; what of the Airforce Vet that did Air traffic control on the ground in Okinawa for years and passed from terminal bladder cancer after an extremely horrific battle with it that included several emergency surgeries, chemo, radiation, a colostomy bag installed, etc? Also, a child born within a certain timeframe that has several conditions listed in some of the articles in existence? I was told that there are only 500k of these vets left and 300k have bladder cancer. My father passed from the most aggressive form of this. I have read and heard so much mixed info that I feel dizzy but believe my mother should be taken care of as she is elderly and in compromised health as well. Also ty for your time on this. I had reached a standstill.
Okinawa does not count for AO exposure.
Does the PACT Act of 2022 include veterans who served in Okinawa? I would at the very least put in an Intent To File with a VSO (Veterans' Service Officer), follow his/her instructions, gather medical and service records, and put in the regular claim NO LATER than a year after your Intent To File. If you are, or your mother, is successful, her backpay should go back to the date of the Intent To File.
I lost my job due to congestive heart failure
Eugene Wallace Sr.
How do you get them I paid you thirdly thousand need help ASAP there trying to kill me because they keep jerking me around
Sure you did...
I have ascetic heart condition lost a kidney and still have soft tissue lumps in my arm and scrotum and I'm childless since Vietnam
W hat about kids born in the 1970s to veterans exposed to agent orange
@@combatdouglas1306 I commented above and in the off chance that these lovely ladies are perhaps without these specific answers, might you have any info that you can contribute? I am not familiar with the processes nor am I looking for free advice, I just truly don't know where to start. What I do know is my parents were told repeatedly that it was not connected and it has just never sat well with me.
I was poison by agent Orange by agent Orange in Texas at ft bliss out side of lack air force base helps
Cool story. Maybe watch the video before commenting.
Is Essential Tremors being considered as a Presumptive condition to Agent Orange?
NO!
Thanks@@garyfeltman4482
What about serving in the room on a base with someone who was affected by agent orange
It's not a thing that you can spread.
Look at my dd214
Presumptive does not mean you will be compensated for it.
Depends on the degree of disability.
@@SandfordSmythe any degree of disability is proof!

Was stationed in thailand 1969-1971

Also in my 30s I started to have chest pain
Every doctor or er I went to said it was not cardiac
Even the VA in Sacramento plus no cardiologist ever saw me
Finally in 2011 I had massive heart attack the did a angioplasty and my lad was 100 percent occluded
But they saved 2/3 of my heart
Took 3 years to get 60 percent
