Ahh I wish I caught the original Tim packaging on their palettes! I know the new ones are more sustainable but the presentation was better with the old ones. Great video! I look forward to this sale every year they are one of my favorite indie brands ❤

I am looking forward to this sale. Happy Christmas, everybody 😂. Thank you for thoughts and strategies. I don’t mind getting some doubles because favourites can go into more than one permanent BYOP. The prices are excellent, even at regular prices. The empty palettes are excellent for BYOP’s and storage of larger collections. The translucent powder is excellent.
Thanks for sharing your strategies for the sale. I'm trying to make sure I don't end up with doubles because I have so much! I need to BYOP more often with what I already have, but I'm excited about the new 9 pan palettes.

I am still a big SG fan even though I have really scaled back on how much makeup I am wearing, especially eyeshadow. I will be honest though and say I am getting tired of every palette they release being on the warm toned side. I have finally talked myself out of TM because that leans warm too. I still enjoy my EL palette though. I will be getting some brushes and maybe some singles and that's probably it. But pretty cool that they have expanded their line, good for them.
I love that they're coming out with more things especially since they're originally a brand that launched with Bath and Body products. I can't wait to see what the new palettes look like. I don't "need" them, but I'm excited to have them to play with. I'm sure my kids will get lots of use out of them too. I need to reach into my singles more. I was in the habit of creating a monthly palette a while ago, and I was getting all sorts of use out of the SG singles. I need to do that again. Thanks for watching today!

I almost grabbed this one, technically I still can because the palette sale is still going on until the new sale starts later today but I have not caved yet. Maybe I will just get some singles today instead, 45% off is a good deal.
@@taramisu9978 yes, 45% off it's a great price for singles. With the sale this year, I picked up a few things. I got 3 if the new palettes (all but the one with yellow and blue) a handful of singles, some cream shadow for my kids and I picked up some of the bath and body products to try. Your video was so good because it’s what I needed to slow me down and really plan out my wishlist. I always feel a bit overwhelmed when this sale comes around because I love the brand so much and feel like I want and should get everything. The new palettes are so cute! But I may only try for one, the Southern Spring because I feel I have adjacent (I.e. similar but not exact dupes) shades for the other palettes in my collection am going for the mystery bags because I have gotten them the last few years and have been pleasantly surprised. Not sure how many I’ll get, I want to see what they may have. I just got a soap in Julys monthly bundle so I’m keen to try out more bath and body products. And of course I am picking up some singles cause it’s still mostly about the eyeshadows for me🥰
It's still mostly about the shadows for me too! I'll pick up some bath and body things to try, but I'm focusing on shadows. I'm glad I finally got an updated list of shades. This helps me to know what I have and not get duplicates. I've done that before and I get so frustrated with myself.

Aww, I miss Mel’s videos so much…”Hey, Beauties.” I never picked up her palette because it’s just not my color story and I try not to buy big palettes anyway, but I really may need to pick hers up while I still can. Even if I only stare at it while thinking of her! 🥲

I miss Mel too… she was the one who influenced me to try SG. She was such a special person. Her palette wasn’t really my color story but.. I really like it. I agree I use it to keep her memory alive ❤
I have Blessed, Enduring Love and Loves Journey. All I am in love with, they never leave my rotation. Picking up Unveiled, it looks beautiful 💕There is a great video by Alecia’s Budget Beauty (I hope I’m getting that right) and she suggests palette pairings for the new palettes with existing palettes. I’m definitely picking up the Winter and the Spring. Grabbing some gifts during the sale and very interested in the men’s skincare. Picking up the bar shampoo and conditioner for travel. So excited for the sale!
I'm trying to streamline my list for the sale. I have several shadows on the list, but I'm branching out into the bath and body products. The new palettes don’t really appeal to me, but they will release hair care and nail polishes that I will want to try. Since I love a mystery, I usually chose the day with the free products with minimum purchase. The palettes usually sell out, but they do another sale later with the sold out palettes.
I'm hoping that I'll be able to pick up what I want from the sale. (including all the new palettes.) We'll see if they have enough. Last year they ran out during the sale. I hope they're prepared for the excitement we bring! Thanks so much for watching today.
Hi cutie! I have been using SG for years. Yes... Mel, MandyLea, you and Gltizy Fritzy convinced me. I have all of the palettes but Unveiled... And about 200+ SG singles. But recently you have talked me into Viseart... And now I have so many Viseart palettes!!! Like a dozen Petit Fours, 7 Etendus, etc etc. Tee!! So fun! I am really not interested in the new 9 pans. I think I could dupe all of them with what I have. I hope you are feeling good! 💖🤗😘
Thanks so much, we're feeling better. (mostly) I LOVE SG but I'm also a huge Viseart fan. Such beautiful palettes and color options from both. I have nearly all the Petit Fours, and so many of the Etendus. Just beautiful shadows from both brands. I'll pick up the new palettes for my channel. If I didn't have a YT channel, I'd probably only pick up the Southern Spring. I'm sure I have all these shades in my SG grace collection, but I love having premade palettes. This sale always gets me! I’ll pass on the new palettes but I want to see what they do for their mystery bags. I really wish they’d add more blush shades! They need some cool pinks in the lineup (I love Always and Forever but it’s more of a mauve on me.) They can do cool tones so beautifully but they need to flex that muscle more, because they do lean warm in general. I’m also thinking of getting their peptide serum and the salt spray.
the salt spray looks interesting. I wish they had more nuanced lip and cheek shades. It's all stuff that I already have, or doesn't interest me. That's ok, I'll get a ton of eyeshadows and be very happy!
I agree with this, I wouldn't mind trying a blush but they would all be too warm so I am not going to risk it.

SG is my all time favorite for their shimmers and pressed pigments, no fallout or glitter👏👏 I got rid of all my pallets but two the Kiss one and Blessed. I still have tons of singles. I was sad that most of my matte shades got hard panned even ones I hadn’t used. Waiting to see the new ones coming out. You and Mel Thompson got me started with SG.❤
I miss Mel! I really love SG, and enjoy the formula so much. Have you ever taken a piece of scotch tape (or any tape) to the hard pan? It pulls it right off. There are certain powders that I need to do that to frequently, but I keep a roll of tape in my makeup drawer for just such occasions. I hope you enjoy the singles you have. @@thelipstickgal yes I just started doing the tape trick, matter of fact I just did it on my Viseart Amethyst 6 pan, I love that purple pallet. Wish I had known the tape trick before I thru out all my mattes, guess I’ll have to buy a few of those.🥲🤣

I love Sydney Grace! My favorites are the metallic eyeshadows (Troops is AMAZING) and the lipcream in SJ. I love their midsized eye blending brush. Those are 3 products I can't live without.

I really want the 4 new palettes and the mystery bags. Curious about the scents, but buying just on the description is too big of a gamble as I'm very specific in what fragances I wear.
I never purchase a fragrance without smelling it first. Better yet if I can get a sample. I would love to see SG release sample sized fragrances.

Im not buying anything this time, Ive been buying so much of SG I just dont need anymore and frankly nothing makes me run and get it from what they have or came up with now for the sale. The new palettes dont impress me. Also its not my fave SG sale, I prefer Black friday sale because I dont have to wait 9 days to get single shadows on sale or anything else and fear its going out of stock before that day, I can get all things at once which for an international customer makes more sense and may cost less money, chaos and stress. Christmas in july has always been stressful for me and a bit overwhelming. I tried many SG products and I think my faves are single shadows and cream shadows. Least fave - pressed highlighters. The lipcreams are pretty but they go bad very quickly. I agree with you 100% about mystery bags - you said it so well, thats how I think too.
I'm glad I've decided to skip the cosmetics except for the eyeshadows. (both cream and powder) I don't "need" the palettes, but they'll come in helpful for my channel. If it was just me, and my non-youtube collection, I'd skip most of them. Maybe I'd pick up the spring palette, but . . . I dont' know.
The Black Friday Sale seem like a great time to pick stuff up. I normally hit the july sale, so I'm already full of newness by the time the November sale hits. (that's OK) Thanks so much for watching today. I know that SG makes so many products you love.
Do i need anymore? NOPE. However i do know there are a couple of singles i want to try and round out my singles and some more empty palettes since i seem to use the singles more when in some sort of palette form. I gave away my EL palette because i wasnt showing it much love but i keep debating if i should repurchase when i see it, it just seemed dark on me. I go back anf forth on picking up Unbreakable bond, and if i do just wait till it possibly goes on clearance. Only the fall and spring palettes in the new group interest me and after playing with singles yesterday i think i can get close to the winter and spring, but i still want the packaging. The fall palette is really similar to where the wild things grow just less color. After all that im just trying to say i want to control what i get this time.
Yes to "controlling what I get" this sale. I need to be picky and not grab one of everything. I still struggle not doing that because I love the brand so much. I really want to try more of the bath and body products, but I'm stocked up on so much of that right now. I don't need backups of anything. (I already have so much)

I swore I wouldn't shop the sale this year.. I picked up the unveiled palette with the winter for free this morning. If I were honest with myself.. I probably will try to shop day 8 and try to get the other three seasons 35% off..

Great video. It inspired me to pull out my enduring love palette that I got last year and have not used in ages. It’s terrific but I don’t think I’ll be shopping the sale. I got the ND golden recently and love that but generally have slowed way down on buying palettes. However I’ve been hitting the RMS sale and getting some single eye shadows, which I love as a quick alternative.
I really like the 3 eyelights that I have and reach for them on a quick day. I'm also really enjoying the new powder that was on sale yesterday. It's so good. I forgot to post that it was on sale. (oops)
