This Monitor is one of the worst out of all the 4K high refresh ones. Also its very buggy and switching between SDR and HDR is so annoying. Calling it "The Only Monitor You'll Ever Need" is a biiig stretch.

That OSD though. It's so painfully slow to do anything at all. This monitor, despite how beautiful the picture is, only made through one day on my desk; all because of that terrible and sluggish OSD.

@@DetroitFury I am expressing that this Acer monitor is outdated, considering that far superior OLED monitors have been announced for release this month, with another batch coming next month. At its current state, purchasing this Acer monitor is not advisable, even though it is priced at $550 or $750. Here are the reasons why:
      - It possesses one of the slowest grey-to-grey response times among all 4K 144Hz+ monitors.
      - It exhibits one of the highest input lags among all 4K 144Hz+ monitors.
      - Its grayscale performance is among the poorest when local dimming is enabled, which is the main feature of this monitor.
      - The firmware is plagued with numerous bugs.
      - The OSD (On-Screen Display) is notably slow and sluggish.
      - It lacks an auto switcher for SDR and HDR mode, necessitating manual adjustment of at least two settings every time you want to switch.
      - To add to the drawbacks, it exhibits a considerable 20ms input lag in HDR mode, equating to a 3-frame delay. Consider a scenario where you are playing at 160fps; incorporating the 20ms input lag results in an effective input lag equivalent to 61.53fps.
This monitor cannot be rightfully labeled as "The Only Monitor You'll Ever Need."
While it's true that there is currently no other monitor offering this specific package, the compromises and annoyances associated with this monitor are not worth the investment. For MacBook/Laptop users, the convenience of a USB-C with DisplayPort + 90W charging is appreciated, providing a satisfying one-cable solution. In this context, I would have preferred the slightly more expensive Philips Evnia 8000 34M2C8600, 34". Although it lacks 4K resolution and the desired pixel density, it stands as a much better overall monitor. However, it's worth noting that the OLED monitors set to release this month and the next month are closer to meeting the criteria of "The Only Monitor You'll Ever Need" - boasting 4K 240Hz, OLED display, USB-C, and 65W/90W charging capabilities.
