Manto ki lekhni ko rooh se mehsoos karne ki zaroorat hain because he wrote about a very tumultuous period in Indian history. Woh aam logo ke zindagi ke bare me likhte the specially about their turmoil, misery and pain. Jo dil se sochta hain wohi "Khol Do" ya fir "Kali Salwar" ya fir "But"(statue) ; jaisi lekhni likh pate hain. Unke afsaano maine kuch bhi ganda nahi paaya haan insaani dard bohut tha aur unke inhi kahaniyon ko padhke rooh kaanp jati hain. Sadat Hasan Manto, one of the greatest story tellers of all times.

Excellent video, informative and engrossing; a befitting homage to a writer of Manto's stature. He , a sensitive and conscientious story teller, saw too deep and too much. In addition to being a literary giant, he was also sort of a chronicler of his turbulent times.
