these might be my favorite types of crashes. obviously the over the top stuff is hilarious but these types of "every day" life kinds of crashes really display the dangers of driving in general.

As a new driver this is absolutely horrifying, but if I’m being honest, this is also extremely educational. Especially the one guy taking an exit way too late, teaching you to ALWAYS check your blind spot. Your right mirror won’t always save you, whenever you merge or cross lanes always check your blind spot by looking over your shoulder and back ^^
My best piece of advice that nobody ever says, is follow through. If your gonna merge. Then complete it. And stay there. I’ve seen hundreds, getting close to thousands of people so will do something and change their mind halfway through. If you miss your exit or turn. That is your fault and your fault only. So you must extend your trip and turn around safely. Rather than putting other people in danger just because that’s where you need to be. Everyone got places to be. So if you make a decision. Stick with it👍
Edit: unfortunately that will never eliminate OTHERS from not doing that. So also be on the other end of that stick and just assume everyone is stupid and make for certain they aren’t gonna hit you because they aren’t paying attention. I think it’s okay to speed away from a dangerous driver as well, assuming it’s safe to do so, because if you slow down hell behind them(especially on the highway) not only is it more dangerous to be going 60> on the highway. But if they flip their car in front of you your next. So it’s best to try and safely get in front where they can wreck in your rear view instead

Its kinda funny how easily those SUVs roll. Its like they were built to do it.
nah they're just top heavy. they have a high up center of gravity so when they get pushed past their limits the weight doesn't shift back before balance Is lost and the car rolls. at high speeds it can happen multiple times.

@@hobog that wasn't the point the statement was that its like they're built to. they aren't. it's a drawback of the design having a high center of gravity.
In all the dashcam videos I've watched, I've never seen any vehicle roll as many times as the ones in BeamNG. Yes, SUVs roll much more than regular cars, but not at the scale as they do in this game.

7:47 I saw a crash like that some years ago! My friends and I were playing soccer and one of them tried to shoot a goal, but the ball flew over the fence, bounced off a traffic light, and almost hit a car. The driver stopped in the road out of shock and a school bus rear-ended her. Fortunately it was nowhere near as intense as this crash. Nice job on demonstrating that you should never play sports (racing included) on a highway!

People just witnessed a horrible crash and just still try to squeeze through as quickly as possible and just get on with it, like this happening is an inconvenience to them
I don’t think you understand how the road works… when there is a crash the last thing u want is to cause a hold up if your able to avoid it, we live in a world where people get distracted on roads and sudden hold ups will just cause another crash if someone isn’t paying attention. I live in the city in CA I’ve seen the worst of the worst with driving man lol.

They actually do mistakes some times, just not so frequently, once i saw some gray car AI that crashed an Police car in beamng

It all seems so smooth lol like you just record each vehicles path one by one and plan it out step by step right? If so, that would take forever wouldnt it? With that many cars? Idk lol I see so many of these channels posting videos like this and I just always wonder how they make it work so well
7:19 is one of the crashes where I would say the driver is liable for the hard brake. If you are on the left lane, you are expected to be traveling much faster than the right lane. And if you have a collision, you MUST divert to the left side when you can, as soon as you can. Going along the 91 freeway in California, every weekend I'd either have to swerve out of the left lane or brake hard because the car ahead of me cannot react accordingly to collisions or traffic clogs adequately. And practically every time I went to and from that freeway, I'd see a massive wreck (with fatalities) towards the left lanes, rather than its periphery. You have to be at a heightened level of awareness in those lanes, or you'll pay the price doubly over the guy who gets into an accident on the right-most lanes.
This is realistic enough to be classified as public educational information

When I was about 12 or 13 years old....I saw the aftermath of a recent horrific accident involving 2 different sized RVs(like a Winnebago and another slightly smaller one, though both were pretty big, like 30-36 feet).... basically, the smaller one had more or less perfectly docked at least half it's length into the other one, and it was a very tight fit. I doubt anyone in either vehicle had survived.
Anyway to simulate that with this beamNG model stuff?
I like that first one because it seems like nobody would have been seriously injured. Plus the Honda landed on its tires and that's cool.
