can people just call it “ straight lashes “ instead of “ asian lashes “ . . . people out here claiming they have asian lashes when their lashes just lack definition and curl . as an asian i find it just annoying , y’all don’t have “ asian lashes “ just straight . stop dimishing asian people down to stereotypes or generalisation of appearance .
My man you here getting offended far to easily. Kindly don’t be sensitive on the Internet. People aren’t here you to comfort you, you’ll only be claimed on hun. I’m Asian too, but in no is this offensive. People just want everything to be considered offensive and now people are scared to even comment or say something on because y’all’s get so offensive and use cancel culture for this. It’s called Asian Lashes due to the fact most Asians have lashes like these. No people won’t call it straight lashes. They won’t change the term all because your 'feelings’ are hurt and your 'offended’ by 'these stereotypes’ The only thing that’s annoying is how people like you get so offended on the smallest comment that’s not meant to do any harm.
a lot of other east / southeast asian people have agreed with me on this and so have other poc , you seem mad defensive over the beauty industry which is already shitty towards east asians . this whole “ asian lashes “ shit just reminds me of the fox eye trend all over again . not saying anyone is appropriating shit , just saying y’all are quick to bandwagon on anything asian . it shows you generalise all asians ( without even specifying which types of asians ) as having the same features or looks . we’re all different and even if we do have a majority look , this name for it is just bizarre . nobody out there saying asian lashes unless they’re the makeup style or from the salon . it just sounds gross , not every asian has the same damn lashes and if you think so then you’re obsessed .
Ngl as a black person this is annoying too lol. We have “asian” eyes and “lashes” and now somhow we’re racist when its not a feature specific to even MOST asian ppl
@@nihiIism Meant for me or what? If so kindly tag me so I can understand. Again. I don’t understand how you guys get so offended by some term in the makeup industry. You’re only proving my point about how sensitive people are now-a-days. It’s called Asian eyelashes due to the fact a lot of Asian people have them. That’s alright, but why you gotta get worked up over something like this? You guys get offended by everything single thing that people are now afraid to even the say smallest thing because they’re afraid that the ‘minorities' will get offended. Now we’re just kissing their butts at this point to make you and other people like you who get so offended so easily happy. This is why dramas are created. It’s created because one person says something, and the other gets offended and turns it into a huge issue, when it’s not even necessary. This is why people get cancelled, get death threats, and have to delete their whole account and posts to stop all this hate all because they used a term that you guys considered ‘offensive’ and `racist’. This is why no one is at peace. You won’t let them be. These type of people will always create a problem for the smallest of smallest things. This is what’s truly annoying. Being absolutely scared of offending someone, then being called racist for using a term that isn’t even racist, get attacked have death threats on, then having to wipe off every single trace of themselves from the internet. This is what is truly saddening, heartbreaking, and sickening. Yet you guys think this is major issue unlike this. You guys ain’t ashamed? If I was you, I’d be truly ashamed. Kindly think how your unnecessary rants is going to affect someone who did nothing wrong. It’s not wrong to use the term. If you wanna use it, then use. No one is oppressed, stop acting like we are, we are free, that’s how it’s going to be.
@@nihiIism Plus, I too am an Asian. I don’t have Asian eyelashes. I don’t this term is generalizing us Asians , and I believe that you want to make us seem like victims whose been offended. When that is not the case. Again, we aren’t generalized. Stop making assumptions and making us seem like we’re victims. This what you call manipulation to gain sympathy. Kindly don’t do this. If me wanting others to not be scared and speak up without having the fear of being called racist, then get death threats is called being obsessive, then yes, perhaps I am obsessive.

@@tyrannicalbigtech5842but why not? Indians ARE Asians so maybe if we’re just talking about a certain region within asia we should specify. For example East Asian
Y'all need to stop thinking that Asia consists of only the East Asian countries. South Asian people literally have thick and long lashes. So generalizing short, straight lashes into "Asian" lashes is really ignorant.
It literally triggered me that the world think Asians have short lashes it's not true only some East Asian countries (Korea, China, Japan, etc) have short lashes and other Asians have very long lashes , I am Indian I have long lashes which really sometimes get into my eyes 💀🤝🏻
Idky East Asians are only referred as ASIAN. Asia is a lot bigger, it’s not only Korea,Japan and china..You’re making wrong assumptions about all ASIANS not only you a lot of people on internet. Ever heard about Arabs, South Asians and all?? They actually have long and dense eyelashes, thick hairs, brown skin, also perfect almond eyes etc. but people still think every Asian has small eyes with double eyelids and flat nose and all, like literally. 🥲
The reason it’s called Asian Lashes is because most Asians have them. I’m Indian too, and I have long curly eyelashes too, but this isn’t generalisation, this is just the term given to these types of eyelashes. That’s all hun, ❤️

Like mine never goes down like hers. I do have shorter eyelashes though. And I feel like it's weird to call eyelashes that way.
@@hoolidii yeah that's what I was trying to say
@@sunshinesunny9657exactly us Indians/south Asians have amazing lashes. I often get asked if I have extensions on lmao.
@@NotJoegoldberg exactly my eyes are pretty big not like my sister's tho but yeah they're big and my lashes touches my eyebrows
Ok so I'm not Asian at all I'm very very white but my lashes don't curl on one side and my eyes look uneven because of this, I might have to give this a try!!
Only on one side?? 🤔
Wow that's pretty
I got it too and it does NOT disappoint!!! It holds the curl ALL day and that really makes all the difference, they stand OUT!
Ummm where can I get this my lashes are long and straight and don’t hold a curl for shit. I NEED IT IMMEDIATELY.
I got it from the Judydoll website, you can also get it on yesstyle
Essence WATERPROOF DOES hold an incredible curl.
yes! i use that almost every day and a curl last all day
thank u, might give that a try ❤
Waterproof mascara tends to hold curl better for me but I struggle so much taking it off and there’s always so much product left on my lashes for days 😭 any tips on how to take it off without irritating my eyes/skin?? Please and thanks!
@@awesomepeeps01 i use micellar water which does leave a little product but removes it very well and doesn’t irritate my eyes/skin at all! but a great product that removes it all is the “bubble makeup remover” it works so well and doesn’t irritate unless in actual eye!
@@awesomepeeps01 I have the same problem, and i normally wash my eyelashes first with a normal face cleanser and then use a q-tip thats wet with micellar water and take of the product that stayed in the roots of the eyelashes
If you use waterproof mascara after curling your lashes, they will hold the curl better. Normal mascara is water-based, therefore making the curl fall out. It would be like putting water on your hair after curling it.
Kiko has the exact mascara wand shape..i bought it and i wasn't sure at first about how it'll work but i was amazed afterwards..
My favorite one is yeves rocher's mascara. I tried a lot of different products, but it always looked ugly af. And than I found her. Volume, length, curles everything is perfect ❤
Which one specifically? Maybe they have a few under that brand?
Yeah which one by them is it ???
@@sarahdeppisch3377 it's called intense metamorphose. But it is only my opinion. I would recommend you to read others reviews
JUDYDOLL MAKEUP 🔛🔝
It definitely works! So much better and longer!!!
Thanks! I've been seeing a lot of videos about Judy doll. I gotta use them myself 😂
For all my girlies here’s a hack!! So I do an eyelash hack that I made up and it works so well!! Your eye lashes grow so much quicker and look so gorgeous! It’s just Aloe Vera on the roots of the lashes
Thank uuuuuu
@@aintthatthetruf9752 yess girlie!!
This is the best wand I’ve ever used. It applies so smoothly and it’s able to be layered!
I just wish it came in other colors too 😭 I prefer brown to black!
Do they last all day? Do they smear on your under eyes after a couple hours?
Where’d you get yours from?
@@laella I got mine from a makeup subscription service! I can’t remember if it was Ipsy or Boxycharm. One of the two lol
@@missmakayla4638 it’s a good formula! I tend to have super watery eyes and I don’t notice smudging or flaking! Maybe a little bit towards the end of the day but otherwise, it’s good!
I finally have something that would work for me!!!! Can not tell you how long I’ve wondered why my lashes are like this but I thought it was just me THANK YOU for showing me this! Even tho I’m not Asian but I def have those lashes hopefully I can get this mascara
girl same ! i’m not asian but my lashes are short and grow out straight and even tilt downwards sometimes ! can not hold a curl for shiiiiit. i’d love to try this mascara out, results look fantastic 😍
can people just call it “ straight lashes “ instead of “ asian lashes “ . . . people out here claiming they have asian lashes when their lashes just lack definition and curl .
as an asian i find it just annoying , y’all don’t have “ asian lashes “ just straight . stop dimishing asian people down to stereotypes or generalisation of appearance .
They won’t change the term all because your 'feelings’ are hurt and your 'offended’ by 'these stereotypes’
The only thing that’s annoying is how people like you get so offended on the smallest comment that’s not meant to do any harm.
a lot of other east / southeast asian people have agreed with me on this and so have other poc , you seem mad defensive over the beauty industry which is already shitty towards east asians .
this whole “ asian lashes “ shit just reminds me of the fox eye trend all over again .
not saying anyone is appropriating shit , just saying y’all are quick to bandwagon on anything asian .
it shows you generalise all asians ( without even specifying which types of asians ) as having the same features or looks .
we’re all different and even if we do have a majority look , this name for it is just bizarre .
nobody out there saying asian lashes unless they’re the makeup style or from the salon .
it just sounds gross , not every asian has the same damn lashes and if you think so then you’re obsessed .
Ngl as a black person this is annoying too lol. We have “asian” eyes and “lashes” and now somhow we’re racist when its not a feature specific to even MOST asian ppl
@@nihiIism
Meant for me or what?
@@nihiIism
Plus, I too am an Asian.
Ppl please asian ppl aren't only Korean or Chinese or Japanese Asia is a whole continent i am half Indian so im also half Asian and i do not have short eyelashes
it's lashes that are common for asian people, not everyone Asian has them and this person isn't Asian and has them :)
Exactly lol. Wtf are Asian lashes. Sometimes people forget that Asia is literally the largest continent.
When we say Asian we are not talking about indians
@@tyrannicalbigtech5842 tell me you skipped geography lessons without telling me you skipped geography lessons
@@tyrannicalbigtech5842but why not? Indians ARE Asians so maybe if we’re just talking about a certain region within asia we should specify. For example East Asian
I have this and I don't even have Asian lashes :D (It's amazing and I really recommend)
Y'all need to stop thinking that Asia consists of only the East Asian countries. South Asian people literally have thick and long lashes. So generalizing short, straight lashes into "Asian" lashes is really ignorant.
Getting offended by lashes is not how I spend my days.
@@randomvulcan I'm not offended, I'm just tired of the ignorance. I've faced this a lot as a South Asian.
Wait you're not asian???? I thought you were Filipino, half at least!
Nope, I’m Mexican 💗

She obviously means east asian, that’s the only asian that exist to americans
shut up
sure they do
I NEED THIS OMG
Omg I need this my lashes always don’t stay the way I want it and I wish it could be up!!I need this!
whattttt i thought you were asian or at least half asian, whats your ethnicity then?
It literally triggered me that the world think Asians have short lashes it's not true only some East Asian countries (Korea, China, Japan, etc) have short lashes and other Asians have very long lashes , I am Indian I have long lashes which really sometimes get into my eyes 💀🤝🏻
I'm half Algonquin native on my mom's side and British Irish French on my dad's and I also have the same kind of lashes, so thank you!! 😄💖
I NEEEEEEEEEED THISSSSS
Idky East Asians are only referred as ASIAN. Asia is a lot bigger, it’s not only Korea,Japan and china..You’re making wrong assumptions about all ASIANS not only you a lot of people on internet. Ever heard about Arabs, South Asians and all?? They actually have long and dense eyelashes, thick hairs, brown skin, also perfect almond eyes etc. but people still think every Asian has small eyes with double eyelids and flat nose and all, like literally. 🥲
Dont generalize as Asian lashes!
Indians generally have long curly lashes
We all need to be educated on different topics. Maybe she doesn’t know Indians are considered Asians as well. Cheers 🥂
The reason it’s called Asian Lashes is because most Asians have them. I’m Indian too, and I have long curly eyelashes too, but this isn’t generalisation, this is just the term given to these types of eyelashes. That’s all hun, ❤️
Need to try it 😮
Asian means indians, srilankans, Pakistanis, nepalies, Bangladeshis, tibetiens also right?
Yesss this is what i exactly mean! Can't believe she is stupid as hell
People seem to forget that!! They apply the term “Asian” to only those with eyes similar to people from China, Japan, Korea ….
What I have found is my fav mascaras are the smaller bristled ones mine aren’t that small but the bristles are short! Also LOVE ur vids❤️
I need this!!
Love it!;! Getting this !!
Omg needd thaaatt!!
I’m telling you those flat solid brushes are the best the L’Oréal sky high is amazing the wand is similar and this is the key to long lashes!
