A drift friend of mine uses a selholm sequential on his 800whp supra. And that was around 7k.

Eventually I'll be fitting the same diff but I am scared of making any mistakes with shimming it up if it's necessary. Any tips?
Get a T6 magnun ctransmission , i had one in a 2004 terminator cobra making 800 hp, and it never broke.

Your guys luck with breaking stuff on your first test is insane, this, vipers first video test had a fuel pump issue, the eclipse needs a rebuild, electric 350 hood popped off. How do you keep doing?

I've been looking into sequential transmissions a lot recently and $17k - $20k is about average.
Great content guys . Maybe sell the V160 for good money and out in a T56 from grannas ? Are you going to sell the blown up B03B diff ? And on a lighter note - Quinn just a slight correction - it was a Torsen diff not torsion ? And a pet peeve - the Ecu manufacturer from Oz - HAL-TECH (like shallow Hal) Note HALL-TECH . Hahahaha

Speaking from experience going from a v160 to a turbo400 in my supra. If you’re gonna go for straight line drag racing then go auto otherwise I’d go with the grannas t56 swap and keep the v160 since they’re rather expensive and hard to acquire these days also looks like you ruined an rather expensive b03b diff well done lol
Tresion lsd only last 400hp on a drag track. But if you guys are going to throw away that diff ill take it
Wouldn't it be great to see a proper throtl car at races like tx2k and battle of the imports etc. and not just seeing them parked out there see them on the track actually competing and doing well. Like McFarland and his twin turbo mullet. I think you guys have the money to compete with the big guys. Plus it would be great for sales.

I have the same rear end coming from Grannas Racing. What tool brand and part number did you guys use to pull the bearings and press the new ones in? Not having to take off the hub assembly is mint!
It’s a wheel bearing press kit i had for my E36 M3, just happened to work on the supra lol
I’m still early in the video, so I’m not sure what breaks. But as far as the trans goes. If the one in the car will sell for $12,000, sell it and purchase a sequential.

Why didnùt you install a carbon fiber driveshaft? If it fails, it will be a lot less catastrofic right?
Would a T56 fit or be converted to work in the Supra?
T56 magnum is the go to 6 speed swap for these cars

When the trans goes(and it will...), check out ATFSpeed's auto trans selections. They want a core though. If 1100+WHP is part of your program, a built auto trans will be the way to go. I know shifting M/T gears like Brian O'Conner looks cool but even Dom Toretto had a built A/T in his Charger. If you wanna win, save money and spend less time under your car, go A/T.

Amazes me people put 50k into the engine and leave a stock torsen lsd from 93 . Ive had so many buddies lose the car from them snapping. Highly suggest a 1.5 or 2 way lsd os giken or kazz super q for all supra owners or 8.8 or 9 inch. I hope you guys used loctite on the driveshaft bolts as well

so the stock transmission is worth more than my entire car, and when you guys blow it up the cost effective solution is to replace it with a sequential that costs as much as both my cars? damn supras are expensive.

While a TH400 would be fast, it would be sacrilegious to have anything but a 6-speed in a fast and furious car…
If you are serious about putting down a bunch of power and doing digs then T56 sounds like the way to go…
