They apparently grew up in extreme poverty, so their parents probably weren't in a position to put them through music school, but Almira, the oldest of the four, won a scholarship for singing lessons as a prize in a singing competition, and later passed on what she learned to her sisters. Since you want to know, Let me tell you a bit about 4th impact, they are sisters from the Philippines, they started singing as a group since very younger age (2001) Almira was 13, Irene 11, Mylene 9 and Celina 5 years old, and they have great different talents, of course singing is one of them bsut... every one has a roll in the group, Almira (30) is the belter and provide the high notes, Irene (28) is the swagger, the choreographer and the beat boxer of the group, all the choreography of the songs before the live shows and after x factor UK tour are her creations, then Mylene (25) is the arranger, all the songs incredible vocal arrangements are coming from her, and Celina (22) she is the rapper, video editor and the beauty queen of the group (all of them are beautiful anyways), now vocally, Almira is soprano with powerful raspy voice, amazing , Celina is soprano as well but with softer melodic voice, both with a huge voice range since they can do whistle notes (please react to "Oh holly night " so you can see their vocal range), then Mylene is a mezzo soprano with her nasal soulful voice and finally Irene is a contraalto providing the low notes to complement the whole range of the sound spectrum, now you know and can understand why these girls are so amazing, beside they are very nice human beings, family oriented, well educated because all of them have finished school careers, no drinkers or other stuff like many in this industry, God followers and incredible humble. Their family is musically inclined. They have been all around the world competing as a group. They have an older sister who is also a singer. Singing is just natural to their family.
You should watch their other performances in the same show. They made it to live performances but failed to reach the finale. 5 or more songs in the same show will be enough to give you more jaw dropping performances.

Almira among the four has the only formal singing lesson and she just pass it on to her sister what she has learn but of course her sisters has natural talent too when it comes to singing so its just too easy for them.and by the way almira is the eldest and Celina the cute one whose expertise is rapping are the youngest among the four
OK Ladies. Celina is the youngest there one in the white shorts and her voice was not mature at the time. It has now and she has the strongest voice in the group now. 19 to 27. She began singing with the group at age 6. The only one that had lessons is Almira the oldest and the smallest
Pilipinos from the day they were born, they cry with a tune. They will not cry if they are out of tune. No, I dont know maybe the water they drink or the air they breath im not sure
