For those interested, the point of the AK 103 was further modernizing the AK platform (allowing optics and peripheral device use) and while doing so, maximizing how many parts can be interchanged between every version. Aside from a few key differences between the models, every major model of 100 series AK can exchange stuff such as pistol grips, fire control groups, stocks, etc. That was the main point, to create a family of weapons that needed as few specialized parts to maximize production efficiency
If you ever need to find a gun guy, use the wrong name for an ak100 variant. He'll immediately tell you it's wrong before spouting off for 10 minutes about gun mechanics that don't affect the point whatsoever.
The amount of actual firearms knowledge here is astounding compared to other Call of Duty CZcamsrs who just call every remotely AK-looking rifle an AK47. I love this.

great video again! I think Im numb to recoil after playing so much insurgency sandstorm and rising storm 2, all the guns in mw2 feel so easy to control that I almost don't put any recoil reduction attachments, so I focus on ads speed and other mobility stuff (for the small maps, not ground war)

It have better damage at range and lower visual recoil. Combine with 40 round magazine and high verlocity or armour piecing ammunition and it out gun in most cases

I use the uh AK as a slow play style weapon set up with absolute accuracy in mind. No point in building for ads because most smg will still out draw you, it's not accurate enough for long range because the recoil is still harsh at range so its strictly a close-mid range monster for me.
as i do love ak there are 3 generations dont get me wrong its hard to find the ones made in the 40's and 50's but to find a gen 3 which the akm is heavily based off is easy to find
My build is the wooden stock, the wooden handguard, the cool looking suppressors, a 40 round mag, and the +p ammo I don't can about the performance, if it looks good it works

Hollowpoints only work when you shoot dudes in the legs a la tarkov but given that this gun doesn't penalize you for missing torso shots as much that's fine Speaking of ammo, when you get to the RPK, it does have incendiary rounds, but you shouldn't use them because they're no better than AP rounds at killing vehicles and it cuts your bullet velocity in half while AP doesn't do that
Honestly take off the suppressor and throw on that lazer that blocks optics and acts as your ads this method works well with most Ak receivers in the game because of the high recoil

Or was the image you were showing of it in "stock" config a skin type? Cuz I did see it with the correct 105 barrel a few times in the video
I did mean AK 103. I even knew this and just said it wrong. It can also be an AKM among other things depending on attachments so it's really not consistent anyways.
In hindsight, it's funny how a lot of people are currently putting the AK above the M4 in this game due to the 3 shot kill range AND 2 shot headshot kill that the AK can provide. I'd say it's still easier to master the M4 than it is the AK, but once you have all the attachments and tune it to your liking, it's almost unfair.

plus i believe inceendiary rounds have literally no pen. as in they wont even go thru doors and such.
The AK762 DOES penalize you for missing torso; it's a 3 shot kill out to 45 meters but if you don't hit the torso that goes down to 20 meters.

The difference between the original AK-47 made in the 1940s and 50s and later AKM is that the barrel and also receiver top cover are different.
