What I don’t like about the voting, is that everyone always picks the same two factions, marines and Russian airborne. I wouldn’t mind it so much if I wasn’t stuck playing only two factions, like I enjoy the diversity of factions like the Turks or the irregular militia and I love the American and Russian factions, I just get tired of playing the same factions and maps over and over again
Dunno about the potato field but I’ve been plying with ALL different factions on most other servers
Yeah, I haven't played MEA or turks at all since the update, IMF once in a blue moon. Bit of a shame.
They should add a random mode where you get a random map and pair of factions.
The MEA sucks since a lot of people don't like the G3 (battle rifles) and shitty Simir.
The Turks have it a bit better due to optic, but no HATs and worse armor is just so un appealing when players seem to value armor superiority so much.
@@ry4nmaster I understand the reasons why people don't pick them, but I personally enjoy playing both of them, so this situation sucks for me. I also like variety in general, and I don't get any of that right now.

I would love to see an Eye in the Sky spinoff where you put together a well coordinated squad or couple of squads hand picked and just follow them through an entire game to really give people a vision of what a well coordinated squad can achieve and how they operate. Occasionally when I play SL my squaddies all focus on working together with bounding and suppression etc while I direct them and manage from the rear with the medics... It is so much fun and immersive AF. However sometimes they just run around playing solo and rage because what little they achieve becomes null as soon as they die because nobody is there to hold that progress.

Where I play, everytime it is vdv tanks, we play as four, as a tank fist. We just destroy all enemy vics on objectives and push. The only problem is getting too cocky and dying to hats

This one is strongly one-sided. Not as interesting as equal opponents.
So I hopped into a vanilla squad server today and I noticed that having a round in the chamber while reloading is no longer a thing. I even tested this with a few magazines just to make sure. After firing any number rounds from the 30 round magazines used by the M4/M16 platforms the ammunition count was only 30 after reloading. I don’t understand why they would even remove this feature. A tactical /
bolt-closed reload should give you 30 + 1 not just 30.

T-72 reverse gear is atrociously slow, so perhaps they did the U-turn to attend to leave the area faster (forgetting that that also exposes the weak rear armor).
