So about about the "Inspired by Saban's Power Rangers" text on the logo, it was actually a legality thing they had to do. I don't want to get too deep into it because I'm not a lawyer but essentially it boils down to rights disputes. Thanks Saban
I think Chroma Squad is a cool game, but the humor just really makes it a chore to play for me. I did a couple routes, one of them being Night Driver (which like you, I thought was the best part) and the gameplay is definitely solid but man that humor. That's a hurdle.
I loved this game and was hyped when it dropped on PS4. I watched a certain CZcamsr play this on twitch livestreams a long time ago. I just might start back playing it.
If I ever get a machine that can run Chroma Squad, my goal will be to make a team inspired by the Taros Imagin, in a real character-accurate screw-tactics kind of manner and just see how good they can manage to be.
I played Chroma Squad years ago and liked it, but never went back for a replay since it seemed like there wasn't much more for me to experience. I never even KNEW about the Night Driver path! Gotta re-download it now 😂

The game's evil director was literally named Saban. Beholder nearly got sued and they changed the character's name to Mr. Heim
@@bruhbruh4329 They later had to change it to Mr. Soap, because the older name was *still* too obvious lol
They also removed a subplot series of missions where the evil director threatens to sue them and is eventually revealed to be Satan.

Probably the first tactical RPG that i played from head-to-toe, i replayed it so many times that this video brings back a lot of fun memories.

I played this game a few years ago, I had a lot of fun with it and kind of want to go back and replay it to get the other endings

It's on Switch and mobile! Pretty much anything can play it
