Brilliant my beautiful another great vlogmas day 19th love all the old shops in west end london looks beautiful with all the amazing Christmas decorations especially at night keep it up looking forward to seeing day 20 ❤❤❤❤
Just beautiful. Loving the angels. Thanks for sharing another tour with us. I really enjoyed seeing and hearing the history of the shops. I don't want vlogmas to end.
Thank you, Queenie ! Loved this day of Vlogmas. The neighborhood is so pretty, and I love all of the history you give us about the different shops. The lights are gorgeous, as are all the windows. It is nice to see so many people out enjoying the evening.
The more I watch your videos, the more I wish I could be in London. It's very hot here in Perth today and I like to see all the Londoners wrapped up warm.
Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous.. and the History too.. my favorite part of the Vlog was those angels.. I'm so glad you turned the peoples chatter off and had music ..so I could enjoy them.. Thank you Queenie🎉
I have a bottle of Floris 1976 which I adore, not too sweet & they say gents can use it as well as we ladies ... and thank you ... the film of the angels is stunning.
We watched it last night Miss Q, a magnificent, and brilliant video. Thank you so much for the Royal mentions, it meant a lot Miss Q xx. As far as I know, there are no Floris goodies in my little sack this year. I have heard from a little elf, that I'm getting a bottle of Arlington Cologne from D R Harris, the Royal Chemist and Perfumer in St James's Street, next door to Boodles Gentleman's Club. I have a few Floris scents, No89 which was a favourite of Ian Fleming, Special No127 which was originally created in 1890 for Grand Duke Orloff, and is named after the number of the specials page in the formula book where the formula is recorded, that one was a favourite of Sir Winston Churchill, and Eva Peron, and the other scent that I have is Elite, which was worn by David Bowie. I have a bottle of the Rose Geranium shower gel, which only appears in the Floris sale every few years, it's also made in a bath essence, and as a perfume in the Ledger Series, that one was a favourite of Marilyn Monroe. The little shop with the pretty window display that you mentioned in Duke of York Street in Geo F Trumper's, I have their Ajaccio Violets cologne which is beautiful, created for men, but wonderful on a woman. Davidoff Cigars at the end of the street is actually quite modern, 1980 I think. It's owned by Edward Sahakian, and his son Eddie, Nick Foulkes's son Max works there, and he's a Master of Cigars. I think that the oldest cigar shop is round the corner in St James's Street, James J Fox, they supplied Sir Winston Churchill with his cigars, and they still have his chair in the shop. Another shop that you should visit is at the bottom of St James's Street, Berry Bros and Rudd. Enjoy the reading of this massive comment Miss Q, and than you for putting all the hard work into the St James's video, it was so special. xx
The white shirt/gentleman's clothes shop, Harvie and Hudson is the one that I keep sharing the video on Facebook, and here goes another mention for that famous chap Sir Winston Churchill, he got his shirts from there, AND, he also bought his cheese from Paxton and Whitfield that you showed. I keep remembering things xx
Beautiful video, beautiful voice for a beautiful, historical part of London. You bring Christmas in London to life, Queenie! You are our discerning eye through the shop windows of quality & excellence. And you have a lovely natural & seductive voice, authoritative, conspiratorial, sexy, earthy & dreamy. Lovely… The Nigella Lawson of quality shopping…
My wife and I are really enjoying your uploads! I can't speak for everyone, but I really like retail/business history and would enjoy future videos talking about a specific store, etc. I am from the USA and self published a book about a prominent Norfolk Virginia furniture store and phonograph manufacturer in the 1920's... check it out sometime, "Norfolk's Greatest Home Furnishers". Take care!
That sounds fantastic! I've added it to my (ever long!) to be read list. Thank you so much for telling me about it :) I'm so glad you enjoyed this video and would live to do more like it in the new year. Thank you so much for your kind words. From my home to yours, I wish you the merriest of Christmasses. I hope its a magical one! Lots of love, Qxx
Thank you Queenie !

The beautiful Burlington arcade reminds me of an old arcade called " grand arcade " where I live in New Zealand. Looks just like it all decorated 🎄

I could have sworn one of the guys coming out of a store on Regents St looked like actor Ben Lloyd Hughes 🤔😍
I bought some shaving stuff from Taylors. Their shaving brushes are made from badger hair.
12:34 Queenie I don’t think you noticed the guy in Loake’s giving you a double wave! lol 🤗
I so didn't! I feel really, really awful for that! I shall go back in January with a cake for him! Merry Christmas to you my lovely! Qxxx
@@QueenieofLondon & Merry Christmas to you and yours xx
