I originally uploaded this video on Friday, but I noticed that it hadn't fully rendered, and it was being viewed in 360p. The problem should be fixed now!
On June 18, I flew Virgin America from Las Vegas to San Francisco. I've done a first class review already, so I decided to book this flight in Economy.
Everything was great, of course. It is a shame that Alaska Airlines is trashing Virgin America's IFEs and excessive legroom.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy this video!

I flew Virgin before and the seats are just as comfortable as JetBlue. I really like the IFE and I love the safety video.
It would be nice if JANET would allow you hop aboard..." Secret Agent Man" I really like the mood lighting, makes it really "COOL" with the closed shades..yes it does have the freshness...WOW a red puke bag...haha.....remember even older logo " Golden nugget jet" ... think the "good stuff" is not cheap, just a soda for me..haha.......hello SFO..although I did miss the "LOO" review :(....another great trip report Quintin.......:)

Awesome video! Probably won't have a chance to fly on an ex Virgin America plane, but its still awesome to see the birds with the livery, cabin, and IFE!

They merged with Alaska Airlines. Even though you see the Virgin America planes with the livery and all, they are in the process of getting repainted, with new cabins and seats without the IFE.

Will Alaska keep the Airbuses and convert them to normal Alaska interiors,the iFE's being removed? Noticed you 'Ubered' to the airport--any cheaper than a taxi? Was your aircraft having a quick turn at SFO? Very unusual for the cleaning crew and the galley people to be onboard before all the passengers have gotten off. I've only flown thru Vegas one time--flew a Continental 727-200 IAH-LAS,connecting to an America West A320 to PHX--I don't envy your next flight home--with layover time,flying time and flying EB,you'll be getting into JFK late at night

About the card reader, the same happened to me on my flight on June 15th from Orlando to San Francisco.

Yup. You can still use the reader on the remote control in the armrest though.

If only bright and fun Virgin had managed to avoid getting swallowed by plain old Alaska Airlines. I can imagine up with an updated product like new seats, new screen, new safety video (I think the dance was getting old by the time the merger happened) and new livery. I was looking forward to the new Airbus planes they would get like the A320 NEO series. Alaska just completely trashed Virgin’s product despite telling us that they would “adopt” elements of Virgin. SFO just isn’t the same without Virgin America. If I don’t fly Virgin, I don’t know what to fly. We’re now just hub to two terrible / bleak airlines, Alaska and United. We don’t get any attention from those airlines either because we’re only secondary hubs of both Alaska and United.

JackAllstarTT Virgin was dissolved in the recent merger. Not really codeshare, just different paint.

This flight still mostly resembled Virgin America, so I feel the name Alaska wouldnt resemble this.
