This game is a saving grace to first person shooter fans. If you're tired of COD and other prominent shooters that recycle the same gameplay loop. This game is a sandbox for everyone. Particularly battlefield fans for its incredibly unique server side destruction. It's basically a fast paced team fortress battlefield rush game mode.
With parkour aspects and good movement, unlimited gun reloads, excellent cosmetics, and an awesome dev team. It's easily the most fun I've had in an fps game.
embark just needs to get their balancing down and then go for getting more player engagement. then some advertising. this game can make it. i feel it.

Best shooter of the past 10+ years. Hope more creators can play this game and play it consistently because it deserves the attention and should be the most played shooter now. Embark devs have been absolutely amazing in supporting the game too.

One of the few games since COD4 that has me hooked. I used to play old school BF when the destruction was at its peak. Miss this days so this game has a lot of nostalgia features 👌🏻

I played one match and only one match. I managed to capture just enough points to win my first ever match with 0.04 seconds left which earned me a rare achievement of winning with very little time left on the clock. That's a 100% win ratio with a special achievement. I don't want to ruin that so soon lolol

These have to be the absolute best devs I've ever seen do an FPS. Literally weekly updates including content on top of changes the community asks for. Since the games release these guys have already done more than some of my favorite games in the first 2 years.

absolutely one of the most underrated fps game out there. one of the very best fps games ever made
To everyone saying this mode doesn't fit with The Finals's ethos due to not being fast-paced enough, etc. I have this to say: In this mode, each match will RARELY last any longer than 1:30. Discount 20 seconds for transit to the objective, and you've got a full-on minute of action where the stakes have never been higher. I honestly think it's a blast, and it works really well just because of the spontaneous way people play The Finals.

Was playing a lot of BF2042 but since a couple of months I've been into The Finals. It's really fun. Definitely has some Battlefield DNA in an arena shooter.
That DNA is compiled of the old good Battlefield developers. They definitely know how to make a fun game!

The game may have some balancing issues and a stale meta right now, but it’s still one of the most varied, creative, and enjoyable shooters out there gameplay wise right now

I love the Finals. Been loving it way more since my friends started playing. With the right teammates it's a blast.
Imagine this style of shooter and destructibility in a large scale war game if only they still existed today ;)
Really wish they used this technology for a different style of game. I enjoy the finals but would have much preferred a fps that wasn’t so competitive focused like this is. I would love to see this destruction for a battlefield type of game.
The reason there is crap destruction in Battlefield is because the good Dice devs are at Embark...making this.
The game is competitive, but that's video games in general. There is one ranked mode, the rest are fun-fests.
I'm sorry you feel this way but personally this has been the most fun I've had with a competitive FPS in a long while.
@@thewhistler6537 yea I know it makes me sad. I think they were just fed up with leader ship seeing how BFV went and then how 2042 was going. They wanted creative freedom and the finals shows that.
@@griffintietje5483 They definitely have creative freedom. Especially in a virtual arena setting, they played this out very wisely.
They have also 'wowed' me with how creative their weapon and gadget skins are. Some even have unique animations and reloads. They didn't have to go that far, but they do. I've never spent this much on an mtx store, but the game is free, it's fun, and I just can't help it damnit. 🤣🤙
If the servers could handle 24 players in a 12 vs 12 conquest like map I would be blown away. Given that this game is trying new things. Perhaps it is on the horizon...

Man, the Finals is so good! Adrenaline pumped skill shooter with destruction. The amount of times I burst out laughing after something incredible has happened on screen, bruh.

I can't believe that Jack managed to pull off that 1v5. It can be so easy to forget how ridiculous good he is.
This game is a hidden gem that many people still don't know about because it hasn't been widely advertised. I've been playing it almost every day since its release and still enjoy it just as much. It's my favorite game right now, and the developers provide updates and new skins nearly every week. I've never played a game where the developers consistently make fixes and adjustments weekly, giving players exactly what they want!

This has been the only shooter I’ve thoroughly enjoyed since 2016 when BF1 released. This game is so fun and satisfying when you get a kill. I just wish I could escape platinum 2 already ugh

I absolutely love it when you do matches with Tomographic but Willfromwork is an absolute legend and, just like those cross-overs you do with Tomo, you just know that you are going to get an absolute spanker when Willfromwork shows up in a vid. I am not even a fan of this game but the dynamic is just priceless and I am here for it, always.

I like this game. Sometimes, when walls and ceilings crumble, explosions rip and fires spread from tree to tree, the air is thick with smoke and dust, bullet impacts sending sparks and bits of debris flying around….if I didn’t know any better, I’d think I was playing a modern battlefield game.

I honestly love this gamemode so much, and it's surprisingly well balanced
Love to see a big youtuber cover the game when others left right after trying it a bit in the beginning. In my opinion it is an S tier one of its kind game that a lot of people have not even heard about with amazing devs who actually listen to the community, absolutely sick and unique cosmetics which you can tell how much effort was put in and above all the only game (I guess other than fortnite) where the entire map is destructable.
I almost gave up on games, and then this dropped ❤

when finals open beta came out that was so fun lol. but hype died for it, but still a super well optimized game, and ran super smooth nd well good fps.. had fun while it lasted.

Finally, i have been asking for a de_ type gamemode ever since the game came out. It runs, looks and plays too well to just be played as a chaotic shooter in previous game modes.

I really do love this game and I hope they keep updating it The only problem for me right now is because I'm on console is that the in-game communication does not work. Makes ranked games very difficult when you cannot communicate with your team and yeah I know you could find a team but I'm a solo player. Still overall great game has a lot of potential.

You can tell Jack doesn't have many hours in the game - but he has tons of fun. If that doesn't make the game great (you can have fun without putting tons of hours into it), I don't know what does
For those who don't know, embark studio the developer of the finals is ex dice who make bf bad company. This remind me of respawn entertainment, ex dev of infinity ward that create better cod which were titanfall and apex.

Terminal Attack brought me back to this game. It has been great and the teamwork, tactics and communication is better in this mode than Cash Out.

I feel like people skip on The Finals because of the gamemodes. (That happened to me when it first came out). But once you give it a try and understand the playstyle, you realize how good this game actually is.
