Best Rucking Shoes | Men and Women

Here I review all the shoes I've used and currently use for rucking (pros and cons). I have my favorites over the past 14 years, but there are a few things to consider when choosing shoes for rucking--which may differ from choosing shoes for every day use or even walking or running.

Sizing on all the GORUCK shoes is true to size. All GORUCK shoes have women's sizing too.
The La Sportiva's ran small so I went up a half-size.
Here is some basic background info regarding my rucking:
-I rarely ruck with more than 30 lbs on my back
-Most of my miles are on paved surfaces (roads, sidewalks, walking paths)
I ruck for several benefits, but I also train for the annual Mark Forester JAG 28 Birthday Walk/Ruck that takes place every May where we ruck 28 continuous miles in one day. You can learn more about it here:

Ive been rucking in my MACV2s and recently got a pair of Roughrunners. I have nothing bad to say about the V2s but the Roughrunners are, for me, a much better pavement rucker. They fit great and just feel more comfortable. The cushion on the heel is just right.

Great video! How do you find the rough runners compares size wise to the MACV-1?

Very close to the same. If there is a difference, the Rough Runners would be barely smaller. I have the same size in both and have no issues or complaints.
